Hi, for those that aren't aware, Android has a nice app called "iMusic", where you search songs, and download them directly to your phone. I tried searching for a winmo. version but couldn't fine one .
I was wondering if anyone knew of a similar app, or a port version of it. Thanks!

Does anyone have this?
I installed the youtube mobile app thinking it would be a newer version turns out it's more dumbed down than the one that came installed
You probably downloaded the mobile version of YoutTube.
The TP2 has a YouTube client made by HTC.
Just do a search for the HTC YouTube app
Try This
Try this, let me know if it works.

I TRIED THIS BUT i still can't get my landscape mode to work! I have the same problem as the OP
Does anyone have Sky by Mobile working on their Desire? I get a message that it's not compatible. Doesn't it work with Android?
Sky hasn't written a Sky by Mobile app for Android (yet).
Austin Reid has though. Check out Record It and Whats On on the Android Market.
Looks very good but cannot find Record It on the market even when I click Upgrade in Whats On.
According to the change log it is a protected app, which don't seem to be currently available to the Desire.
I'm using "Remote Recorder" at the moment as it's all that I could find available, but it leaves a lot to be desired.

I havent tried this but there is an option to allow unprotected apps. think its in the privacy part of settings
I know the setting you mean - to allow you to install apps from "other sources".
However, I think the issue at the minute is the market place. I believe, but could be wrong, that they don't currently allow Desire users to even see copy protected apps. I think that once they've updated the market place to know about this handset the app should show up.

I've installed it on mine and it works a treat!!
Only problem is that it doesn't have a programme guide, you have to search for the programme which isn't too much of an issue...!!

Where did you find it?
I logged in to the sky website the other day and used the web based remote-record function. This was just about workable on the phone.

Hiya,
go to Android Market and type - Remote Recorder...
It seems to do the job
I apologize if this has come up before, I did search and didn't find anything. I'm looking for a tool that I can remotely control my phone via my windows desktop. I use my phone all day at work listening to music, etc...
I've downloaded the latest release of screencast, and am able to see my phones screen, but no keyboard/mouse input is working so I still have to control the phone from the screen on the phone.
It appears that other people are having the same issue with this app. Anyone got the screencast app working properly on the vibrant or have any other suggestions for different apps?
Thanks,
Jeremiah
What do you mean you downloaded the lastest version of Screencast? I dont see an app called Screencast in the market, only an app that accesses ScreenCast Online videos called ScreenCastsOnline.

Yep, device is rooted, other people are having the same issue. there are some work arounds other's are using, but didn't work for me. I just tried out vnc server for android and that worked ok, but no landscape mode. And I have to wake up my phone from the screen after it went out to be able to do anything with it, which defeats the purpose for me.
I guess I'll keep searching, the vncserver for android is pretty sweet though.
Been trying to get this, and droid explorer to work all day, with very little luck :/
Has anyone been able to find a way to use the Grooveshark desktop site without getting the "problem loading flash" error? I have read having flash 10.2 installed and using the Dolphin browser set to desktop user agent would work, but so far have had no luck on my Xoom or D1 without getting the error message. Also tried Skyfire and the stock browser with the about:debug trick, no dice. Anyone had any better luck, or other solutions that worked?
Have you tried TinyShark on the market?
Yeah that's what I have been using lately, but I would like to be able to load my playlists and everything from the grooveshark desktop site.
Am i missing something? Why not use the Grooveshark app in the market?

Oh ok, makes sense. I forgot i'm subscribed already.
Tinyshark lets you load your playlists too. The only benefit to the Grooveshark player is the offline cache ability. I tried it for a month and Tinyshark fit my needs just fine without paying $9 a month. When it was $3 a month it may have been worth it but triple the price and I'm out.
I think everyone that has replied has missed the point, I also am wondering if there has been a work around or if anyone is working on it, I think that with a tablet, we should be able to hit the real site and have flash work, why would we need to pay for an app or get an app that is made for small phones when we should be able to just go to the website.
I wish I was smarter with these dev things and I could work on it but I dont have the time to learn.
Hopefully someone that is reads this and wants the same thing, I love gooveshark but being that it is free from my desktop, I am not really wanting to pay for an app....
just my just my .02, thanks
Good luck man, I am hoping the update to the flash player will maybe work, but aside that I have had no luck in getting the desktop site to work on the Xoom and just started using the TinyShark app in the market. Not nearly as nice, but I will take what I can get until someone figures this out.
Flash also reports the client platform/OS, independent of the browser user agent, when connecting to a streaming server. I don't use Grooveshark, so I don't know if this is the reason you get the error, but it's a strong possibility.
Some people have had success with opening a file in Flash (first honeycomb release) in a hex editor and replacing the string "AND" (Android) with "WIN" (Windows). There were also some high jinks to get the change to persist, but a modified APK was made available that seemed to work for some users to access Hulu. I haven't followed it lately, but you could probably find more info searching for "flash for hulu".
EDIT: Here's the link: [MOD] Flash 10.2 Working HULU Updated: 4/29/11
Best case scenario is that someone has put out a modded APK for the current Flash release that also works with Grooveshark. If not, there might be another, less elegant solution.
I'm still debating on which tablet to buy xoom, asus or wait for newer models.
Does the GS app work on the honeycomb? Atrix users was complaining on their forums so that's why I'm asking
Found some solution online but couldn't try them cause I haven't received my N7 yet to try them out:
GameShare
DataSync
GameOn
Also is there an app that sync where you stopped at your timeline? that would be great.
Can you share your experience if you tried them? if not try and tell your experience to the Android realm : )
Hands down datasync. Well to be fair I haven't tried the other two, but that's because I never had to. Datasync works flawlessly even when it first got released for me. I used that to transfer some save data from a few apps today when I got my N7. Give them all a try but definitely start with DataSync.
Thank You!
What about twitter? is there any twitter app with timeline position sync.
the only solution I've found is using TweetMarker. which am trying when N7 arrives

Tweetmarker works quite well. The only two Twitter apps that I know of that use it are Plume and Tweetlanes. Tweetlanes isn't officially supported on tablets though, but the developer makes the apk availabale here: https://plus.google.com/104649936579980037256/posts/53SL5vZ3kZL
Boid is meant to add Tweetmarker support, but their development of key features isn't exactly quick so I wouldn't hold out.
