I was just wondering if somone could make a new video camera app that can upp the FPS and increase the audio bit rate. The iPhone has the best audio when recording. I think its bit rate is like 80KHZ

Is there a custom ROM or even a simple app possible that can capture 720P video at LEAST 25fps for the Evo? I have yet to be able to capture anything better than 22fps. It's unacceptable. Also the audio quality is TERRIBLE. 8Khz? Seriously HTC?

HTC Phones are good but the camera is very poor. If it was recording at 25fps it would still suck... Droid X does 720p recording very well like a mini camcorder. I have HTC Desire..
I managed to get around 30fps..
Audio still poor though
But here's how you do, go to Camera(not video, photo!), change ISO -> 800 (not Auto), then -> Video recording, and it should be more stabile and higher fps.
Regards.
The quality of the camera has greatly improved since it was originally released, but is there anything that can be done to improve the quality of the sound of videos? Using the app Elixir, I saw that video only records at 96kbps. Is there any way to increase the bit rate? Thanks.
I want to start a thread regarding Gnote Video Recording and i have few questions. I use 720p for recording as i have found the recorded video more stable then in 1080p by meening less wobbly/jelly effect, and I also use the stock app for recordings, I have heard the lgcamera is even better but havent tried yet, i dont use any rate/bitrate hacks. Do you guys use the same setup for video recordings or you have found some better video quality recorded videos with some other setup. My recordings usually have:
VIDEO
Data rate 13000kbps
Total bitrate also 13000kbp
Frame rate 29 F/sec
AUDIO
Bitrate 115kbps
Stereo
Sample rate 44khz
I use Franco 10# kernel and CheckRom V5
Whats the 4K recording bitrate and hows it compared to other phones . Also, is there a 5 min limit like on my note4?

I did a quick test and got 90MB for 15 seconds, around 6MB/s.
But, I wasn't sure if there was some way to stress the bitrate of the codec - bright scenes? dark scenes? high contrast? If anyone has any insight into which are the hardest scenes to compress I can repeat the experiment.
Or, is the codec somehow a constant rate codec (as in fixed rate MP3 vs variable rate)?
how about the time limit? how long can you record 4K?
I think 6/MB is average. I heard of people that root note 4 able to up the bitrate. Even if it is the same it still might look better then other phones with the same bitrate due to the lens and so forth. I think the main issue is going to be with the stabilization. OIS helps but I guess you can run it through adobe or some other program to get software to add to that. I wonder if I record in 1440 if the software will work for that.
I want to edit footage captured with my phone but the variable frame rate can cause desynchronisation of audio and video when transcoding. Can someone recommend a camera app for which a fixed frame rate of 30, 60 or 120 works? OpenCamera is not the answer because this function does not work, but at least for me.
