How to flash Generic UK rom Using a mac

Can anyone please give me instructions on how to flash the generic UK rom to my X1i using my mac? I have searched and can not make heads or tails of the information I am finding. I think i have found that it is possible to do it from the sd card but I just cant figure it out or what programs I need. I really need some help and would appreciate any help that anyone of you could give. I am sort of a noob, I have searched and I just am not smart enough to figure it out on my own.
I am suing: X1i
Rom version: 1.02.931.3
Software version: R1AA017
And the customization says:Generic_UK

i have htc t8282 phone it's in french i want to change it into english i've been reading how to flash a new rom on the website i think i can do it but i have couple of questions
1= how do know the exact rom for htc 8282 phone?
2= my phone is currently locked do i need to unlock the phone first before flashing or cooking the new rom?

T8282 is an HD/Blackstone, it does not need to be unlocked but check this guide to make sure you don't brick your device. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=505377
and this ROM is a good place to start... but try a few to see which you like best.

Rogers/Fido baseband incompatibility?

Hey guys, I just flashed by x10i with doomkernel_v6 and is running Feralab 7.2. Everything looks great, but I'm unable to connect to 3G, only Edge. From what I've read I believe this can be related to a baseband incompatibility. I've tried configuring the APN's, but that didn't help.
If anyone can give me some advice on how to resolve this please let me know.

I'm having trouble with most if not all custom kernels in Ontario with Rogers

Feralab is a nice rom. Can I still run this and downgrade my baseband? I'm a newbie so excuse my lack of knowledge. If that's the case please let me know which baseband I need for these providers,

not registered on network

hello
i look in a similer post but they are not for galaxy s5
i change my rom in my device galaxy s5 t mobile and when i try to make a phone call i get a message that says not registered on network
i didnt back up my efs folder.
the rom is good and i see the IMEI number on my phone *#06# is the same imei that write on the sticker on the back of my phone.
what do i need to do?
please help me the phone working great i just can't make a phone call

android version: 4.4.2
kernel version 3.4.0-1186806
do you need more detailes ?
