When synchronizing pictures from the PC with the HD2 the images are converted to a very small filesize. When opening those pictures with my HD2 the images appear very small, thus I do not really benefit from the great display and WVGA resolution.
Does anybody know how to change the synchronization settings? I know that you can turn off synchronization, but that leaves me with 3mb per picture, which is bad in terms of storage capacity.
There should be a solution available that acts like ITunes for the IPhone: resizing and converting pictures to exactly leverage the screen of the Leo.
Thanks for your support.

in windows media player, connect your device and go to tools > options > devices and select your device from the list. then click properties and go to the quality tab. uncheck the "Convert music, pictures.." etc.. but make sure the pictures you sync are supported.. size doesn't really seem to matter, it displayes 12mp pictures from my camera with no troubles..

Thanks bel_z_bub. I found that solution already. problem is, that with this you will get pictures in full size on your device / storage card (>4MB in my case). This is also not very good since it is a waste of storage space. There should be a solution that allows me to set the synchronization / conversion to a file size of approx. 500k per picture. This would be sufficient for the screen resolution while at the same time saving considerable storage space.
It's disappointing that MS Media Player does only provide conversion quality options for audio and video. I wonder why they did not implement this function for pictures as well.....?
I have more questions still!!
These are about the Album app. I have some albums reduced down especially for my phone, I notice the N1 sync's with Picasa though, so some are duplicated. Does it properly sync, as in download smaller versions of each picture from each album? I'm opening the Picasa ones and they seem slower to snap into sharpness than the ones I put on the SD card?
Also, is there a way to stop certain folders showing in the Albums? I have all sorts of odd images that the app finds in other app folders which kind of spoils the effect of the album.
Is it possible to alter the thumbnails of the videos on the Tab?
my 3 year old uses it a lot (so obviously he can't read) and I have quite a few videos on there, I would like to alter the thumbnails to another part of the video like I do with the ones for his iPod (I'm trying to ween him of the iPod and onto the Tab, he already uses my Desire more than the iPod)
can anyone help with this?
for example he has 9 videos on there that are spin-offs to the Disney film "Cars" and they all start the same so the thumbnails for them all are the same and there's no filename their either (he can recognise numbers but there's nothing for him to see)
Any help with where the thumbnails are stored and how I can change them?
thanks
I have my each video stored in a folder with a thumbnail image of the movie poster. When I go to my gallery it shows the thumbnails

What do you name the thumbnails?
Does it show them in the "video" app?
Does anybody know if there is somewhere in Honeycomb that allows us to resize pictures before uploading it to Picasa web?
Picasa for Windows for example, can auto-resize the pictures before uploading it, thus saving the bandwith and the space in picasa web.
Sorry its me again.. just wonder.. nobody knows how to resize the pictures in honeycomb?
I guess no option yet?
It should be a widely used feature. We travel, take pictures, and want to upload it to photo sharing websites. We need to reduce the size of the pictures to save bandwith, time, and on-line space.
Any idea will be appreciated. Thanks!
PicSay Pro does some resizing, I think, but it's not a very precise option (can only resize to one of the preset sizes).
When I view the pictures I have taken with my Galaxy s7 edge in the Samsung Gallery app it offers some functions that I would like to keep when I transfer the files to PC.
1) It seems there's some kind of AI that puts the pictures in categories like "food". Where is this Metadata stored an how can I reuse it once I transfered the files on my PC?
2) When taking pictures mith the camera you can enable that it records a short movie (2secs) how do I access this once the file is on my WIN PC
3) When taking panoramas to can access a little movie that shows how you turned the camera as well - is that one accessible on PC?
I've googled for an hour and couldn't relly find any relevant Info.
Can anybody give me a hint?
Thanks a lot
