I have a problem with the virtual keyboard on the Mega. Sometimes, after using Opera and the virtual keyboard inside the browser, the keyboard "gets stuck" in the browser-specific keyboard configuration.
More specific, after exiting Opera and trying to write and SMS, the same keyboard is displayed. This is a problem because instead of SPACE i get "/" and ".com".
Has anyone else encountered this?

when i log into this forum using opera mini icant use my 20key hardware keyboard. every keypress makes one entry instead of changing to the other letters of this key

I would not say normal but it is the way it is. I have this also experienced on the software keyboard! the workaround is to switch to the regular Windows software keyboard

Opera bugs is the most likely cause for many problems when using third party keyboard. Does it happen if you use the standard keyboard?
I only use the standard keyboard. Maby i must try resco keyboard.
So you had problem of not having even the standard keyboard. Does a soft reset solve the probllem? If not what about a hard reset

With xT9 predictive text on if you type "It Is me" then the second "Is" the "I" is always in uppercase, which is the same for anything that begins with "I", anyone have any ideas?
Everything is fine if I use the standard keyboard with xT9.
Does no one else experience the same problem?
Whenever I use opera the keyboard switches to a keyboard with a ".com" and no space bar. Nothing I do brings the other keyboard back until I remove the battery or chose to use a different keyboard.
Is there a setting in Opera, a cab, or registry edit that can stop the keyboard switch from happening?
This issue affects swype-style input on keyboards with this capability. It affects only certain apps - the most useful ones, unfortunately. Does anybody else experience this?
The exact misbehavior depends on the app and the keyboard.
Overleaf.com in Firefox or Chrome browser with Swype keyboard: cursor jumps randomly, autospacing does not work. Space key can also move the cursor to the beginning of the word just entered, and mess up the input entirely, or delete all the previously entered text. SwiftKey swiping enters nothing. Space deletes input on LG keyboard and GBoard.
Quoda text editor and Termux: Swype keyboard doesn't autospace. LG keyboard and SwiftKey won't swype at all. If I put spaces in manually with Swype, there are random weirdnesses like inputting the last word over and over; not reliably reproducible.
So Swype is overall unusable in these apps, and none other that I tried fare better (including GBoard). Non-swyping keyboards seem to work fine (I tried the Hacker keyboard), but I need the speed of swyping.
Other apps work fine, including 920 text editor and MS Word.
This issue is NOT the same as reported in this thread.
