Cube Icons

Hi,
I am currently working on customizing my Cube to show my icons and programs.
I didn't want to overwrite the existing AL files, so I have put the custom files into: \My Documents\My Pictures\Cubeicons\Operamini_bottom.brn
but when I link to this in IconPath the cube is simply black at this icon?!
After one time usage, it shows the highlighted icon the whole time?!

To my knowledge, on the Nike (Dual) all icons have to be in \Windows\ - unless somebody has yet found a way of moving them and changing the default path? (please let me know if so!)
So, to solve your problem...
1. Copy your file into \Windows\, but call it something new so you don't have to overwrite any existing file.
2. Use the newest beta of Touch Settings (v2.12pre onwards) to change the icons - please see http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=324556
.....if you want to change the MediaHub (3 app side) icons, at the moment you'll need to use the 'Advanced' tab and enter the full path manually.

I have managed to overwrite existing files, so I do have my icons.
but changing all the animation screens, is a lot of work!

WM Widgets

Hi cooks,
I'm trying to clean up startmenu in my roms, but I can not find where I can change the location of the WM Widgets. I want to move them to another folder. Most startmenu applications have a provxml file which I can edit to change the location of the link but with the widgets I can not find it....
Help please

I use reSTART to clean my start menu. I have created few folders like "games", "applications", "media" and you can move all you links and change their icons

Yeah I know that program....but I want it done when I cook a rom and not afterwards...Thnx anyway!!

Restore Windows Mobile 6.5 default icons

Hi all,
I'm looking for a way to restore the windows default icons back to original. I found the start menu icon editor, but thats not exactly what i''m looking for. The problem are the icons i see in file explorer for example, the folder icons looks like crap now (probably installed those icons sometime ago, but i wanna get rid of them )
So is there a way to completely restore ALL windows mobile 6.5 icons back to normal? (prefered incl start menu)

+1 ,also I need that for 6.1, cause I love to stuck with the clean original icons.

Also voting in for this. I'm about to change my icons, and it'd be good to have the original ones as a backup.

I made a mistake when replacing one icon with HComber. So I would like to restore the original icon.
Does anyone have a pack containing the original WM6.5 icons?

use jwmd icon changer then move the path into \Windows directory.
there you can find all the resources.
or you can also dump them from the official wm6.5 emulator.

i recommend you to stick on your inside \Windows folder icons.
it's will be better on performance & not wasting your ram space.
quite bigger though if you put a lot of png's, especially those with 16.8colors

I used JWMD Icon Changer for my problem, works really well.
My problem was that I accidently removed the image/icon from three links/icons. I tried what muhrizky said, but no luck.
When JWMD scanned the Windows catalog it just stopped, I have no idea why. But the icons inside \Windows\,
so I searched for them with Total Command and copied them to my newly created folder(My Icons) on my storage card.
Once copied to the same folder I scanned that folder with JWMD and I could easily change back my icons =)

can you give me a step by step way to change my HTC HD2 file explorer icons back to the default. I have tried everything but nothing has worked. I have JWMD but I don't know how to scsan the windows folder.
PLEASE HELP!!!!!

In some roms there are smaller than other. Is there a register ket to change?

You have to change the size of the displayed icons by editing the cpr file inside Windows.

Using Activesync, Explore Windows Folder. To find the file easier, you can arrange icons by type by right clicking in the windows folder. It seems that the file is StartMenu_Gridscene. You can edit it by making it a .txt then changing it back to .cpr when finished.

Can you share how to do it....as i could change the titanium icon size from cpr but i'm looking to change the program icon size inside start menu... can it also be done from cpr ???

edit StarMenu_GridScene_240x320.cpr....with pword or notepad....
in the cpr...
searchID=Image....and set Left=30...Top=8....Width=35...Height=35...
Save that in another dir...copy it with total comander to windows...and new start...
backup the startmenu gridscene before work in it...for me and my polaris this work...

Removing Start Menu Icons?

Hello!
I am returning to Windows Mobile from Android. I purchased a T-Mobile Dash 3G, and am liking it so far, however I'm having a heck of a time trying to figure out how to remove a lot of the applications from the start menu because they're really cluttering things and I want them gone. I can't access them through the File Explorer. When I find something, for example TeleNav, that I want to delete, the option to delete it is grayed out.
If anyone knows of a tweak, a hack, or a .cab I need to install to get this done, I would be GREATLY apprecative!

here is the app called totalcommander download it install from phone. then you can go into the windows folder and then go into the start menu folder and from there you can create new folders to uncluter or delete what you dont want.

You can remove elements in Windows/Start Menu
You can also make folders and sub-categorize items to make the start menu clutter free.
The file explorer all ready on your device will support this.
You can change the start menu order using a registry editor and editing HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Shell\StartMenu\Order

i have tried to use this method and changed the order but the start menu order still isnt changed. any ideas why?
