I would like to be able to turn bluetooth on / off with one click on a quick link (shortcut).
Anyone here who know if this can be done, and how?

This can be done using Bluetooth toggle from this thread.
Yep... That looks like what I'm after.
Thank you!

I have noticed on a few of your Today Screens that you guys have the a "star" and the it says Profile: Night. Or whatever profile you have selected. Where can i find that plug in and does it allow you to change profile by clicking on it?
And what messenger does everyone use? I would like to have one for Gtalk but can't find anything anywhere.
Thanks guys!

Copy both files to the same folder in your device. Optionally you can create a shortcut to add to start menu programs.

Here is cab file that contains this program.
Installs in Program Files and creates a shortcut in Start Menu
Can be uninstalled

Yes, but the trick is NOT to reset the device after modifying the registry. That's quite unexpected from my point of view. That part is mentioned in the thread I pointed to.
Everybody try Axii_Wi_Fifix.cab. Really 100% works.

That CAB does exactly what post #2 already suggests.
Tin
.
thanks everyone for all your help
BTW, another solution for some of you may be to use a different ROM. I'm using Topaz Essentials 1.6 ROM (TESS1.6) from chef Aman, and this ROM doesn't have the wifi turning off problem.

It only works (worked for me) if you do the followings:
make the changes in reg:
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Comm\BCMSDDHD1\Parms]
"HTCKeepWifiOnWhenUnattended"=dword:00000001
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Comm\TNETW12511\Parms]
"HTCKeepWifiOnWhenUnattended"=dword:00000001
as mentioned here
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=524490
But if you reset your device you will have to re do it again
So, we really need a little cap with on/off
Why does plane mode turn off bluetooth?? Any way for a work around?
(i.e. turning off gsm but not bluetooth to be able to connect stereo headset)
Thanks

CM7 is compatible with Wimax and has been for quite some time.
Although I'm not in a 4g area I have been and it works just fine.
