On my old Omnia there was a setting that you could change for the size of email messages that would automatically download, I can't find any setting like that for my HD2. Now when I get a message any larger than 10 or 15 Kb I have to click on the message again for the balance of the message to download. Is there any setting that you can change to make it download up to 100kb or so messages without having to click on them twice?

Click to collapse
HTC Sense Mail Tab > Inbox > Menu > *scroll down*> Tools > Option > Choose Email Account > Download Size Settings
Hope that helps.
Thanks for the info, that did the trick.

I have installed the TF3D in my x1 but the youtube.exe shortcut under internet is not working, popping up an error meassage-The file youtube can't be opened.Either it is not signed with a trusted certificate or one of its components cannot be found. If problem persists try reinstalling or restoring the file.
Why is that ? Please help
And one more issue..The TF3D isn't working in landscape mode? Is that common or any chance to fix it?
I think the youtube problem is about the language id at the end of youtube.exe (for example an english phone has youtube.exe.0409, and my swedish phone has youtube.exe.041d) in your windows folder. Check here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=2931376&postcount=456
And about landscape mode, it just doesn't work with TF3D.
Thanks. Another issue i found that the sms notification is disabled. How to Enable that?
You mean a notification that the message was delivered?
If so, check here:
Start > Message function (or something like that), SMS \ MMS is selected right away, so click Menu > Options > click SMS \ MMS > and check the notification box.

No buddy, not that. I want the incoming text message notification at the left bottom of the x1 screen which stays there untill you read the message. Is there any option to enable that?
As far as I know, that notification only stays there for 10 seconds.
Don't know if there is an option to keep it there until you read the message.

Disable the tf3d,back to ur x1 home screen, send a message from ur other cell,u'll find for how long the notification stays there...
I don't have TF3D enabled. Just using the first ordinary panel, and the message stays there for 10 seconds..
i find that the font size in the recipient area is too big
is there any way to change smaller????
Agreed. What solutions are there for this problem. It also means I can barely see what I type in the reply to an SMS if I have 'threaded SMS' option rather than 'chronologic'.
To change font size of received SMS you can use SMS Tweaker 1.5. Size of SMS you enter is controlled (not sure) by Settings -> System -> Screen -> Text Size.
Ive tried SMS Tweaker and it doesnt appear to change anything in the text of SMS messages in Touchflo.
I wonder if theres a setting in a manila file that needs to be changed?
Any updates here?
I think the font is too big when reading message threads. Looks cartoon-ish
start > settings > system > screen > text size
What I would like to know is how to make the font larger on the Touchflo SMS page. It must be a case of editing a manila file but does anybody have any idea which?
In MMS options->There is a tab called Blacklist, in this tab nothing is displayed and how to use it?
Can i block some mobile numbers so that i wil not receive any messages from them? Is it any thing like that ?
i would like to know this as well..i've spent a lot of time going through menus and setting trying to figure out how to use the blacklist..
any help?
Has anyone figured this out?
I just messed with it for 10 minutes.
I'm a computer technician, and I've used EVERYTHING but WinMo.
Totally lost, trying to set this up for my coworker.
solution
taken from the htc mega manual:
1. Open and view the message.
2. To avoid receiving MMS messages from this sender next time, hit Menu >
Show > Message Detail.
3. On the Message Detail screen, hit Menu > Show > Contact Details.
4. Tap Menu > Save to Blacklist.
5. Tap Done.
btw its for mms only
I have done the tone for ringtone, but the tone for the sms and email is the same.
if i turn of email sound i don;t get the sms tone.
What am i doing wrong?
Thanks
yes you can, with paid Apps
check Android Market
example Ringo Pro
I was given this info and it worked
SMS = Messaging > Menu button > Settings > Scroll to the bottom and press Select ringtone under Notification settings
Email = Google Mail > Settings > Scroll to the bottom and press Select ringtone under Notification settings
Click to collapse

Morning all
I have somehow managed to fix it so that some of the emails I recieve show up too big on the screen when I open them, its almost as if they were only designed to be open in landscape, but even when opening them in that way, they are still too big for the screen.
Any ideas ?
Thanks
Stephen
I have installed anothwe MAIL app m and this is still the same
any ideas ?
Thank you
Stephen
Can you post a screenshot and clarify which email client you're using?
Thanks.
If you're using the default email app, have you tried changing the text size that emails are displayed in?
Mail App > Menu > More > Settings > General Settings > Font Size
try double tapping the screen when you open the email this autofits the email to the screen. note - this only works with v2.3.
Hi all , thanks for the replys
I have put it on the smallest font and double tapped, the emails (seems like ones with graphics) still do not fit, its just the normal default system email client.
Thank you for your help ....
Anymore help appreciated
Steve
