Upgrade a NEW ROM

hey ppl.
i have a 4350.. instaleed wm 6.0 on it from here -->

and i wanto installed a new ROM with WM 6.1..
but i dont know what should i install.. which ROM should i install that i want it stable, fast and good looking... which one do u offer me??

this is asked again and again and ends with
xyz: i use this one
gdshg: i use that one....
read the rom dev forum, look what´s in the Romsm, download it or maybe them all and play around until your happy with your choice...
All cooks try hard to get stable good looking Results and it´s unfair to say that one is the best.
So be fair and read the Threads, flash, and report what you liked.

Watch out for Anja's ROMs I'm pretty sure she will release one soon, and her ROMs are great

As announced in the previous posting, Anja launched her first ROM for HD2.
I must say it is the *best* I installed so far - usability, eye candy, stability and speed. What else do you need?
Anyway, go here to find it! But, maybe she´ll come here with her own thread.

Source of latest packages?

Im talking about HD2 roms ...
I've seen new features in the cooked ROMs like "htc messaging client with securebox option" which is NOT included in the latest official hd2 ROM (TMO 2.13)
Im just wondering, where can i get all these latest packages? Im trying to cook my personal ROM and i want to use latest versions, but most of the packages from tmo 2.13 are already outdated, and i can see newer ones in the cooked ROMs.
Can anyone help me with finding them?

You can have all what you want here in XDA......what did you expect more than this?
Mybe what you are searching isnt from Leo,maybe isnt the latest TMOUS release.
If someone has a new package thats mean that you can have it too,just dont be lazy and search.

[Q] Newbie needs assist

Hi!
Good day!
I have a HTC HD2 with Android 2.3.4 installed in it and I would like to try/ switch to Windows Phone7. I've seen a few videos over youtube and read some of the threads here but all I see are windows 7 BETA roms. Is there a "final" rom for the HD2? If not, where do i find the latest Windows 7 ROM for my HTC HD2?

I don't really know what you mean with BETA roms, because all those roms shall be very well developed, in my eyes.
"A final rom" by meaning a rom that is almost as much developed as the official released WP rom, then you can just choose one from the development threads. In ex. my HD2 is running on XBmod rom and is just like running on a official rom for me. There are many good roms like the one made by HD2Owner, or the on by Pdaimatejam etc. All these roms are WELL developed, not a BETA.
But if you mean a final one by meaning that the development is good enoug so the rom is stopped on development, you can't find one, because all roms are still getting new features just like the official one is updating itself

All the ROMs are basically the same, albeit tweaks the chef may have added. You have to realize that WP7 is constantly updated by MS...just like Android. All the ROMs sporting v8773 (Tango) have the BETA v8773 build. Thus, when MS releases the official final version of v8773 you'll have to reflash your phone and install all your apps again when the chef releases an update.
The Yuki/XBmod ROM is on the official v8107 (Mango). It is also the most stable and the only updatable custom ROM via official MS Zune update. As such, no reflash needed. It is no longer chef supported, but it's still the most stable one of the bunch.
I have tried almost all of the ROMs out there and still use Yuki/XBmod on my phones.

Ok one last problem, when i call Microsoft help desk and ask for an activation code, what details do they ask? will they make sure I have a phone originally installed with WP7?

When will WP8 Rom Releases?

Thanks to Pdaimatejam, HD2O and ansar, I used my HD2 very impressively. But now I'm waiting for WP8 Rom which is ported by Cotulla. when will this rom comes? I'm really waiting for WP8 rom developed by XDA.

We really have to face the fact that our device is really old...our hardware is very outdated and often new OS need better hardware... :-/
