Voice Search not showing up - G1 General

So I have no idea how long i been having this problem but i barely decided to look for help, as you can see on the picture the voice search does not show up anywhere, i have no idea how this happened or when, i have CM latest, and i been having this problem with 3 themes so i know its not a theme problem, I really dont want to erase everything just to get it so if anyone can help I will appreciate it.

If it works with stock settings, it's the theme because everyone else doesn't have this problem.

Is there a way to activate it without having to do a factory reset?
I have stock settings and I'm pretty sure there is no way to disable on the settings.

By settings I mean the 'default skin'. Just flash theme template from his thread.

Sorry for my ignorance but do you mean flashing the mod again? Because I updated and the problem is still there. If not what am I supposed to do?
And thanks for the reply.

I fixed it, all i had to is to restore to stock donuts without wiping data, then apply CM and then again the theme, ha I cant believe it was that easy.

Says there's an update to 5.0.5.3 when as you can see at the top right, I already have it. Worked fine on 5.1
*Don't ask me why the picture is so bright..doesn't look like that on the snapshot just when I upload it.

Well it's not really a big deal or anything so i don't think anyone will really look into it, but i guess it doesn't hurt.
this is not a bug go to rom update settings and turn off "Display All Rom Updates" this is if you want it to show all old updates. and this is not a place to report bug they have a google code page you can use issue tracker to report bugs. next time do a little research b4 coming up with dumb bug reports
unnecessary thread is unnecessary
And that's an unnecessary post ^
This thread should be locked now.

Sorry can't help on the rom/theme... but could have been done by a rom kitchen.
Litening looks the same except for the battery which could have been changed.. but need to see more screens to determine the rom/theme.
Thanx
More pic's here..: http://foto.pfeffernuss.com/SGP/index.html
Only homescreen pic's...
sorry can't tell from just the homescreen, if there was some of the settings menu & the drop down notification screen then it might be a little bit easier =/
I think it is iPhone theme avail in Android Market..not sure about this

Trying to change those wifi/bluetooth ones to something else. I'm pretty sure one of the file I have to change is
frameworks_res_switch_bg_holo_dark.9 along with a few others
So I tried but it didn't work. Any suggestions?

You're going to get very little help unless you specify what version of Android you're running, Are you running stock or custom ROM? Did you freeze the "bloatware" or did you uninstall it? What do you mean by personal messages on your lock screen, do you mean text messages?
Its a stock rom : KOT49H.I9515XXU1ANI3
4.4.2

Personal message means in replace of Life Companion in which you get with new phone
So when phone is locked I am missing the message and clock
As I think I deleted the apk by mistake

Seriously .....nothing?
Well first of all you're in the wrong device thread, this is the Sprint S4. The easiest solution would be to reflash the ROM.

Hi!
I think you have used an app or a cmd/powershell script to add these, check your app or the website from which you downloaded the modifications to see if there is any way to undo the changes, if not read the rest of this article
Try using this portable app from Nirsoft: https://www.nirsoft.net/utils/shmnview.zip
find the name of those menu options, then right click and click disable. Be careful, DO NOT DISABLE OTHER THINGS, I think there is a option to reverse it, not sure.
if you don't want to use that method, do any other from this article: https://technastic.com/remove-items...emove_Shellex_Items_from_the_Right-click_Menu
Please ONLY USE THE REGISTRY EDITOR METHOD IF YOU ARE GOOD IN COMPUTERS AND YOU ARE CONFIDENT modifiying the wrong thing could cause system problems
OMG bro thanks a lot!! This was really helpful and the app from Nirsoft worked for me!
I really really appreciate your fast response and assistance on this!
