Last.FM apps for Win Mobile, w/out Subscription? - Touch Pro2, Tilt 2 Themes and Apps

Are there any apps that let you stream Last.FM without having to pay for a subscription? I realize that lastfm stopped supporting Win Mobile, for reasons I dont know, but Id think someone wouldve found a work around. Pocketscrabbler works but you must be a paid subscriber.

+1 on this, I've been looking for the same thing as there seems to be nice clients out for Android and iPhone.

is this the same last.fm I am using on XBOX, if so its still free. I can (u might can to) use skyfire and goto last.fm webpage login and listen that way. If that helps

AOL Radio?

Has anyone heard of any plans for an app for AOL Radio like the one the iPhone has?
Not AOL Radio in particular, but if you want to listen to streaming internet radio, StreamFurious can play anything on shoutcast.

Imeem Music is another alternative
aol radio
use the skyfire browser. nothing to download like an extra player) and it seems to work great. although I do have internet explorer runing at the same time as I write this, which seems to make the music jump slightly. But I'm happy. I have an HTC touch by the way.
I believe you'd be able to use the AOL radio streams in Kinoma Play as well.

Android streaming to airport express

Anyone aware of an android app which can stream music to an airport express?
I've done a search and found this project which is exactly what I'm looking for. However the project appears to be idle, or in the early stages.
Know of anything similar?
(bump)
anyone?
Am also looking for this!!

I am also looking for this. There is a program called Airfoil which enables you to stream any audio from a computer through airport express. I was hoping someone had adapted it for android. Haven't found anything yet =(
BTW I'm using EVO 4G on froyo
I also found this for running music to airport from a linux machine. I'm not a developer and don't have a clue how to do it myself but I thought it might be useful.

Any progress, anyone? I would pay for this.
I would pay for this too and so many people dream about such an app, I don't understand why it does not already exist. I use my airport express with airtunes every day. It's so convenient.
Try this:
hyperfine.com/remoteforitunes/default.aspx
Bill171 thanks for the try but that application only allows you to control itunes on a pc. I am actually trying to learn android programming just to try and get this. If anyone has a idea where to start or some source code from the pc software it would probably help.
recently found something called Twonky Server which is able to stream to devices that are UPnP or DLNA enabled, such as an xbox. Still trying to figure it out, but so far, performance is intermittent and it appears to be pulling music from the phone rather than the phone pushing music to the xbox (ie your phone becomes a server only, not a remote+server). If anyone tries this and finds another way to use it please let me know.
Also 2Player may hold some promise. Haven't got that one to work yet.

There are currently two Android apps able to do that, both available in the Android Market. TunesRemote is free, Remote for iTunes is US$4.99. While free, TunesRemote seems a little flaky to me, while Remote for iTunes is a little more reliable.
well, these two apps are cool, but not yet what (i think) we're looking for here. Remote for iTunes lets U remote control the iTunes app on your desktop, while TunesRemote lets you remote control an iPad or iPod ...
What we want is an android app sending music to an airport with no iProduct at all, no iTunes, no iPad, no iPod ... exactly as Airfoil does on a PC.
My interest in such a product is to listen to Deezer (or youtube, or any app with sound, why not a movie ?) on my android phone, and send the music to my stereo via wi-fi.
I'm also looking for this functionality.
I would definitely pay for an app that allowed me to play my subsonic from my phone/tablet to my airport.
Finally
Hey guys theres finally a software that will do it. It will even do pictures and video if its to a 2nd gen apple tv.
Its called Twonky, and its free in the market.
hi folks, there is a app called Honey Player, which will be launched today. this app is able to stream music directly to any Apple AirPort Express or AppleTV.

Hey,
there is an app available since yesterday called Honey Player, which exactly supports these services. You may try it out! Finally, someone serves our need

Kinoma FreePlay (the free version of KinomaPlay) includes access to a bunch of shoutcast channels, and I believe it launches by default when you try to directly play .pls files. Both the free and paid versions are available on the Microsoft Marketplace. The paid version gives you access to a few more file formats, etc, but I've gotten by just fine with the free version. Also, it works great as a client for Orb (service to stream media from your home PC or server)
Awesome. I came from Iphone3gs to Moto Droid to HD2. Its doing everything i need it to do and with style. Love my HD2. XDA is an amazing site with people doing nothing but helping. Thanks guys.

In case my plug above wasn't clear enough lol...I highly recommend Orb, I haven't found a better way to very very easily stream media from my home PC, which is one of the capabilities of my winmo phone that I love showing off the most!
I will try that out. I have a big Collection at home would be nice on the go without storing on the phone.

Bingo!
It's crazy simple too, you just install the client on your PC, let it index your media, and then you can just sign into your account from anywhere via the client on the phone, and reference your media by artist, genre, etc or even just whatever folder(s) you have it in. It works on video as well as audio, but the video streaming is subject to normal reductions in quality related to streaming.

Play Grooveshark Playlists for Free

While I have a VIP account with Grooveshark I was kind of dissapointed that you need to pay to get access to the mobile app. So when Froyo came out with support for flash I tried to access the normal site and it didn't work too well. So tonight I was thinking about it again and got a better idea of how to use Grooveshark effectively through the browser with chrome to phone. Its somewhat hard to explain, so I made a video of how to do it and posted it here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XNPMYAHjlWY While this is far from perfect and the native app is way better, this is a way to play Grooveshark playlists on your phone. Let me know if this works for you guys and if anyone else has suggestions of how you could make it better.

[Q] Live football...

Just curious. We were out and my husband wanted to watch football. I search on my phone and google but could not figure out a way to watch on my phone.
Is there an app out there that will allow you to watch live football?
There is the MobiTV app. I think you can watch Live TV on that. But it isn't free of course.
I think mobi has a monthly fee. I don't mind paying a one time app fee. Is there something else out there?
MobiTV is 9.99 per month...but over WiFi or 3G its actually quite good..and yes, it offers live TV. So while 9.99 a month is kinda alot, its actually a worthwhile service as long as you have a good network connection.
if you have directv and sunday ticket you can watch all of the games live on your mobile device running android.
Buttt...the HD2 is not natively an Android device...so that doesnt really help in the least.
MobiTV does not air live NFL football games.
The best option to watch games you would normally watch at home. Is to get yourself Orb Caster which is free and a compatible TV Tuner card. (Don't get a USB based tuner.) Setup Windows Media Center to work with your TV service and if that works out, then setup Orb and it should work fine.
Any reason you recommend against a usb based tuner?
