Just wondering if there's a heads-up from any cookers whether we can expect to see this come our way?
The site also shows Manilla 2.5's new official landscape mode!
Some of the roms already have it cooked in. I think the Balaji rom already has it. It is not enabled by default however and you will need to turn it on via Settings\Personalize\Home Screen tabs.

I believe the latest miri and possibly NRG also have it. Any rom using the Leo 2.01 packages should have it cooked in. There are some problems as the soft keys appear not to work, but if you click on the document in the manila view it does open.
Flashmore is my current favorite and the documents tab works great on it.
I just flashed the latest Miri rom with the docs tab, but no matter where i put my doc, i cant get it to show up in the docs tab. Any suggestions?

No problem. Everyones handset comes like that as standard. What your looking for is manila v2 also refered to as v3.
Available in custom ROM,s which require hardspl flashing and then a new ROM with the correct manila.

As posted by Shetlander above all handsets comes without the landscape ability as standard.
To enable landscape in TF3D you will need to do is flash your phone to a custom ROM with manilla version 2 which will require you to put hardspl on your phone first and then a new ROM with the correct manila.
Read the wiki (link available in my signature) and good luck
Alternatively to just rotate certain apps and not TF3D etc you can use apps like G-Sen & gyrator. All can be found with a little searching!!

are you using stock manila or rhodium? If you dont know how to tell please do this:
settings tab>all settings>TouchFLO>About tab
tell me what it says there.

Dont just install one. if youve updated to rhodium the stock one wont work, and if you havent updated the rhodium one wont work. I had trouble with the rhodium one but i guess the problem is fixed now.
Hi I have just upgraded to this rom from the basic preinstalled one. I want to find the add on cabs mentioned for the rom but I cant find links anywhere on here and on http://www.duttythroy.net when i go to download no files ever show up, what am I doing wrong? (specifically I want Dutty's Enable Manila landscape and Dutty's Flip it Application)

And did you make sure your signed in at Duttys site I just checked and it definatly has downloads in the HD Rom Cabs folder and I used your link

Why not just go to Duttys V3.7 thread and go to bottom download on post#6 and download it. Simple as that. Alternatively as jake_tenfloors stated above sign up to his website and download from there. Membership is free on his site.
If you have downloaded correct rom and installed it your splash screen should say the following:
R 1.14.25.24
G 52.64.25.34H
D 1.59.Dutty

tried this with miri's v22 (between ROM flashes) and it doesn't seem to work right. the "add stock" and "delete stock" menus don't have the correct titles (starts with "IDS_INFOR_") and i couldn't add stocks to the stock page. needless to say... i removed it from my device. BUT, that did not correct the situation. had to hard-reset..
The same problem with Dutty6.1 rom!! The new stock tab became completely unusable (unreadable), uninstalling the hotfix doesn't resolve the problem.
Please, someone advise on what to do..

I assume this hotfix has changed some Manilla files, so if I new what files exactly were changed, I could just replace them..
It occurs to me that this fix is probably only meant for Blackstone ROMs, so that is TF3D devices < 2.0. In other words: don't use it on ROMs with the new TF3D interface. Just a thought, maybe I'm wrong ...
So please could someone post the "stock tab" files from Manilla 2.0 to replace?

Since Android hasn't finished yet i will not switch over yet, and wait wil switching OS.
instead of that i will use an Theme for the TP2. ( co0kies Home Tab )
i found co0kies home tab theme very great, as i searched for further info i found out that i need Manila 2.5 ( 2.5.1920, 2.5.1921, 2.5.1922, 2.5.2011, 2.5.2012 )
Where can i get this? After many hours of searching i found out that it might already be on the phone, but i dont know what version is on it.
can someone help me with this? Co0kie wrote this to find it out.
To check your Manila version: go to the settings tab in Sense, select "About phone", and then "Software Information".

If you're still on the stock ROM that came with the phone, then you don't have Sense 2.5
The only way to get sense 2.5 in this case is to flash a rom with it. You should be able to get all the necessary information in the rom development forum

"Sense" is the entire pretty little graphical interface that you're playing with...the clock, the tabs on the slider, and everything in those tabs, is all the interface that HTC built to go on top of Windows Mobile. HTC has been calling their shell "manilla" for a long time, Sense is just the latest generation of that. There is no "sense tab", and the exact location of where you can see your sense version varies....which carrier's model of TP2 are you using?
However, it's kind of moot...like ctbear said, if you're still running the stock rom, you're not on 2.5 anyway, most likely 2.1, so you'll still need to flash a ROM if you want to use co0kie's home tab
i live in europe, and my carrier is Hi.nl so i dont really know what model im using..
thanks for the information, could you provide me with a link that has the 2.5 rom? i'm so afraid i will choose the wrong one since there are so many around

Hey guys, flashing a ROM isn't the only way to get 2.5 on the phone. I followed the directions in the "Manila Sense 2.5 cab?" thread (forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=661941) after a Task29 and a couple of hard resets using the stock TMOUS 6.5 ROM...I have 2.5 running fine with the CAB from post #4 of that thread. I put CHT and CHT Editor on and all is well. It's way easier to use a Energy ROM, but I was having problems with messaging and connectivity so I went back to the stock ROM. As I said, all is well...going on the 3rd day with the setup and haven't had any hiccups. No tinfoil hat phantom usage issues, either.
YMMV, obviously.

If you got the phone from KPN/HI you will have an unlocked TP2 for which you can get the latest Rom on the HTC website. Manillaversie: 2.5.20121225.0 is Sense 2.5. Original Dutch Rom should be 2.07.404.1 NLD.

In Norway the TP2 is now coming with Sense 2.5 as standard stock ROM.
To the question, slide the slider at the bottom to right(all the way) then you'll be at the settings tab, follow cokie's instructions from there...

I myself havnt tried it as I DO flash roms. However, Xhero doesn't seem to know much about anything on this phone... nor to use the search feature... nor how to use google and search "The difference between Manilla and sense" Soooooo I wouldn't recommend flashing a phone just yet to him/her.
Xhero... do your reading.. LOTS of it before you start trying to customize your phone. You dont want to screw it up and then have to come back and start a new thread asking how to hard reset your phone... Please please learn how to search the forums too. The best advice that can be given to a new user. If its too difficult to use that search key in the top right of EVERY page on every thread on XDA then in google search what you are looking for and type "XDA" after it..... ie.. "Manilla 2.5 install cab XDA" or something like that and Bingo Bango you'll be brought to the thread!
A little research and common sense goes a long way. Have fun with your phone and remember to post relevant questions in the appropriate threads and you'll likely get your answers super quick!
I have allready guided him to the correct Romupdate from HTC. Yes there are other ways of getting Sense 2.5 but this is now the easiest way for him to obtain it.
In the Netherlands the TP2 is also now being shipped with Sense as I got mine last Saturday with the new Sense on there.
