Alright, I just downloaded the GDE version with the conversations widget, and although GDE is a great home replacement app, I prefer Home++ because of status bar being moved. Is there a way I could copy the conversations widget from GDE and place it in Home++ (sorry if this is a completely noob question)
I agree. The conversations widget is one of the best things about GDE.
But the Home++ UI is much better.
Why do you not want the status bar????? ,, this is one of the greatest features of android ....
I agree, the status bar is one of the best thihngs about the Android UI which is why I still want the status bar, I just like it at the bottom of the screen. Since Home++ has a button that brings down the notifications bar, it's just relocated

Hey folks
I installed Nova Launcher and noticed the notification bar looked a bit strange. Figure that it was that the background was black, so I set it to be transparent. This was fine on the homescreen, however then I could see my wallpaper when in menus etc on the notification bar.
Does anyone know of a launcher that functions like TW? Specifically transparent only when at the homescreen?
That is the one thing I would like. I currently have NOVA launcher. I like it because you can theme the icons and such but now I have the black status bar and black navi bar as well. In the stock launcher there is an option to make them both transparent. What am I missing?

I'm wondering the same thing. I've gone back to LG's launcher for this reason. Hopefully the ROM gods will add this as an option to add on.
I was going to come post the same thing. I just applied auto-hide soft keys and was wondering if this was an option. Using Nova and I pinch to bring the status bar and knock on to sleep on the status bar as well.
Love this phone by the way - obligatory
Clock icon on new touchwiz drawer now shows actual clock. It was a static icon on my Galaxy S5.
I kinda like it.
check also the S Planner icon
I think this is launcher and theme dependent. It is not working on nova launcher and only works on the default theme.
Hi,
Is there a way to get the stock Android 7 status bar icons ? I'm not a huge fan of touchwizz ones.. I tried different apps but they're not really friendly with the rounded corners.. I can't post images to show you what I mean but I think I'm clear enough..
Swift Dark for Substratum has stock clock, wifi, and cellular icons.
Hi to all
is there a way to hide some icons from the notification bar?
for example bluetooth symbol, time, wifi status etc?
my unit does not have any option to hide them.
hope someone can help
thanks

There is still confusion about what the statusbar is and what the notification bar is. You have the statusbar which can contain notification icons, etc. etc.
To me the notification bar is what you "drag down" from the statusbar. So I guess that what you mean is actually the statusbar.
(But I do not want to start a discussion about this, so call it what you want )
You have already asked questions in the CarwebGuru and FCC launcher thread. You should know by now that both can hide the statusbar (They both call it statusbar as well). They both have widgets/icons to show some of the wifi/bluetooth/etcetera icons. They both need access to "Access to notifications" to somehow display the notifications that apps or the system want to show.
If you are playing with both launchers I would first try to accomplish what you want with those launchers.

Hi
thanks for the reply
currently i am using Carwebguru, it really hides the statusbar, (not the dropdown), that is what i want, but if i am using radio or waze for example, this bar is always there. it is not a problem for me for it to be there but i wish to remove bluetooth status from there, current time, Wifi.
hope i was clear enough
