Divx Player PPC "subtitles" - HD2 General

Hi
Yesterday i install Divx Player and it works great with an excellent image.
I transfer a divx film with a .srt(subtitle) file but when i play film i don't see subtitle film
Is it possible see film with the .srt subtitle, or is it impossible?
The problem is the .srt? can i modify file to .txt?
Many thanks

I think that the only player that support subtitles is TCPMP.

Hi
Thanks to replay
Hi have TCPMP installed, but divx video stop after i press play and the image is simply Green.
What s the problem with the TCPMP?
I change the .srt file to .txt but the problem persist with Divx Player.

Hi
I download ths version of TCPMP: TCPMP-0.72RC1-ARM-PPC-recomp-03
This version of TCPMP freeze HD2 for all and need to reconnect battery
Where did i download a perfect TCPMP? Finally found
Forget: TCPMP-0.72RC1-ARM-PPC-recomp-03
Two file are important:
First of all: install TVUPlayerMobileSetup.Cab
Second install: TCPMP-0.72RC1-ARM-PPC-SUBTITLES-iriki-repack01.Cab
Finally: Open Core TCPMP: Option: Video - select GDI; enter subtitles and open srt file and play film

Reinstall the external music player, when it asks what files it is to recognize, don't check any of the files or if they are already checked, uncheck them. Soft reset, then remove that program. See if this helps. If not, you may need to hard reset. (Backup everything as it will be lost with a HR)
thnx...fr the reply ...i cracked this issue with the help of SKTools..

Flash with TCPMP .81?

Does anyone know if flash works with TCPMP .81 such as IE loading TCPMP on youtube? Also I broke my flash support after mixing TCPMP versions I believe or before that, going to reflash with touch it 2.3. Does opera support flash? What's the best way to get flash working in IE for NOT just youtube but for instance myspace videos? Also does a working TCPMP with flv plugin open flv files normally?

[Q] Exasperation with TCPMP

Can someone give me explicit instructions for the installation of TCPMP on the Mini? I must the only person in any hemisphere that can't make this work. I down loaded TCPMP & Master Codec Pack 6 Cab, installed it as I normally install a Cab but when I try execute the program, I get a message about an unexpected program failure.
Coreplayer was fine until I tried to run a avi file with ac3 codec. I've worked long and hard with no luck.
Thanks,
Humphster
Hi..
I have also exactly the same problem...
Did you find any solutions for installing TCPMP in HD mini?
Please...help us any one knows..
Not yet. Sometimes it takes a while but somebody will step up and post the solution
install with this cab:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=494720&d=1295516063
then install this skin:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=459336&d=1291830455
Just extract the zip file and copy the file and the folder to the
"Program Files\TCPMP" folder on your device.

Thank you for your relpy. Unfortunately, I am still unable to get TCPMP to function. After installing and opening the player, I get the following message "libmad plugin is not compatible with current player version. Please update". TCPMP opens, I choose a playable file and all I get is a pink screen. Closing it and reopening cause the device to freeze.

open TCPMP then go to options /video and swich to GDI and you'll be able to play video now (just open a video file)
Thanks. I was able to view an AVI/AC3 file no problem. However, when I tried to run an AVI/MP3 file, I got an error message that the player (TCPMP) didn't support MP3. I do not recall any problem like that with installtions on other devices. Is there a solution? For convenience sake, it would be nice to use just one player instead of one for each file type. Thanks.

Download the TCPMP Plug-in. Go to your mobile device's web browser and download the software. The file download prompt will appear, select "Run." Wait for the download to end.
Install the TCPMP Plug-in. After the download, the installation wizard will appear. Follow the instructions provided. It is best that you download this plug-in to your internal memory, choosing the external memory may cause errors.
Play FLV files by going to your Windows Mobile web browser, start TCPMP, by going to the "Main Menu" and "Applications." Visit the mobytube, site and search for a video, click on one of them and press "Play". Now you can start streaming videos online. You can also download the video directly to your Windows Mobile device and play it by clicking on the file.
thank you but like i said i already tried that and it dosent works

Working for me

Samsung Galaxy S: unable to plaback video

Hi everyone,
I took a video on my Samsung Galaxy S and was able to play it back a few times. Thereafter, I moved it to the sd card and couldn't play it anymore. I have moved videos to my sd card many times without any playback issue. The error is that "unsupported file type". I have tried playing it on other applications such as MX Player, VLC Direct Pro Free, and VPlayer to no avail. When I tried to transfer it to my computer, it doesn't work either. Can anyone help? Thanks!
Regards.

Hi, thanks for your prompt reply.
Nope, I didn't. The default format is mp4. Would attempting to convert the file to another format help?
