Force Opera to force auto-direct to mobile version of websites?

Hi there, I tried searching around, and most of the methods were to force it to go to NOT redirect. I tried backtracking from this thread and checking UAProf and it still doesn't work. Changing the various user agents from 0-3 did not work for me as well, and I am out of options.
I am currently using a HTC Touch Pro using the newest October 25th Energy ROM and this i the first time I am having this issue. All the pages loaded up in Opera are the non-mobile version of the sites I frequent. Anyone with other settings to tweak?

OTA Camera update

Just received an OTA update to my legend. Claimed to be a update for the camera. Updating now......
... Firmware now say: 1.31.405.4

New market?
Seems to be a new market app as well, now missing apps are showing up

Anyone noticed any other changes/improvements besides camera/market fix?

My legend doesn't find the update, maybe because it's branded

This is not fixed in this release:
1)My contanc photoes which are synced with google do have a wrong resolution after syncing with google contacts!
2) HTC browser app doesn't fit google services web sites like (buzz gmail reader) correctly withing a browser window, it zooms them greatly so they become unreadable. Also an address bar covers a web page while page is loading and its very annoing!
3) Search in people app works only in english! I need it to be reachable in Russian also.

I have tried manual install via Settings-About Phone-System Software Update!
Now I can see many apps that were not available before in Market!

no update in germany with vodafone branded legend... hope this changes soon... or do we have to wait for vodafone to release a branded version??? hope not!

It's just a small bug fix for apps not noticing the camera...nothing else, move along people..

Update complete swiftly on a unbranded legend in the Netherlands.

Just updated over the air.
can see all apps in market now. Not any noticable diffrences.
It did how ever fix a weird bug i had. My Stand-bye was always showing twice the amount of time of the unplugged time and showing like 80% battery use its now back to normal wonder if it also makes a difference for my actual battery usage.

Updated on unbranded Legend in Spain.
Finally, Layar is available in Maket and working correcly.

Hungarian Legend updated as well.

My wifi is fine: working and locating several networks. Also correctly enable and disable from wifi widget.

Market is not able to recognize and update "manually" installed apps. Need to install from Market again (it keeps user settings) to update to new versions.

Can anyone use the default Youtube?

Can anyone use Youtube? or even better, can anyone update version of Youtube?
When I try to play any video, I get the error (Sorry, this video cannot be played). When I search Google. I see that there should be an updated version in the Market, but there is nothing there. I also tried to update with AppBrain but still doesn't work.
Any help?

Works for me, both the original and the updated version I got in the Android market.

you are probably in a region where youtube is not available on the market. I had the same problem, when I searched for official youtube app in the market, it doesn't appear. What I did was, I searched the updated youtube apk on the net, downloaded into the sdcard and installed it from there.

Thanks, I found all the google updates and updated but the error is the same. I'll look for problems in OpenDNS as I suspect that the problem is there.

nope, wasn't opendns but it worked after rebooting with the new updated version. I hope it stays like that.

facebook, netflix not compatible with a500

For the last few months I've Ben unable to update/install Facebook on a500. App does not show in marketplace app, does show on web android market but shows as not compatible with Acer. I've got factory install (of honeycomb) and received latest updates---though I had the problem prior to 3.1. Note I already have older version of Facebook when I was able to install (when I first got a500...just after release). I'm not interested in rooting if possible and believe issue must be related to configs on marketplace in my profile?
I'm sure the issue isn't very widespread or else this forum would filled with posts...anythoughts?

you are correct that it is currently not compatible. That is why on your Acer there is a Facebook link. It has nothing to do with your user settings on the marketplace. What you can do is look up on xda or on Google for the facwbook apk.

Download Friend Me from the market, it's the next best thing to an actual app from Facebook.
As far as Netflix, the only way right now is to root, download the app from the forum, download a patch and it'll work. Only downside is it causes problems with the camcorder function.

The Netflix fix does not cause me video can issues.

Don't know about net flix but i use the same black transparent Facebook app that I use on my mosaic powered captivate with no problems

I use the dolphine browser HD for fb. Use a gesture for quick access. Set it to use https instead of http. Netflix won't work unless u root it. Look around for rooting options and apk for Netflix.
the Facebook link Acer provides sucks. I can't use it myself. Dolphine has webzine feature but if u like regular full fb, dolphin in desktop mode is perfect.

There is written 3.5 version updated the 22nd November 2012 (a week ago). In our Omnia 7 we still have the 2.13 version (without live tile since August..).
Does this mean that the update still has to be approved or that the application has been updated for WP8 only?

I'd say it's only updated for WP8. I visited the page while being logged into the account linked to my phone, and it still showed 2.13.
Once logged out, it showed a whole different app page, and version 3.5.~
