Hi Guys,
Yesterday I installed an app called Personalizer (http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=21538) on my HD2, so I could put a custom logo on my homescreen where the operator logo should be. I installed the original 3.1 cab yesterday and all was working well but I noticed that my battery was draining very fast. When I tried to uninstall the app, I get ''Personalizer was not completely removed....'' and the app still remains active in my programs list even after soft reset. Is there any kind of revo uninstaller type app that completely erases an app from the registry and/or is there any way I can remove the app fully without hard resetting the handset?
Thanks in advance

hi, I have installed a trial software and notice after restart that a application niceapp.exe tried to startup with the reset.
I chose NO, and the startup continued. But after doing some changes with HD tweak I reset the HD again and suddenly I saw the same program NiceApp.exe tried to startup again.
searched the net and saw that niceapp.exe might be a virus, so I went in to the diretory ...\windows\startup and deleted niceapp.exe.
but saw after a restart that it was back in the startup map, anybody know how to delete it ?
I noted same thing after installed google navigator 5.0 on touch hd. Solution is to clean all memory if u have this function on u device (or hard reset). Then recovery last backup.
Hello!
So I am fairly new at rooting and roms but I managed to do everything perfect on my droid 2. I am running fission and it has served me very well. I just have one minor question. I've tried everything lol. So installed the 3G mobile hotspot app that came with the rom manager and I want to remove it. I tried deleting the application through the "manage applications" screen and I've tried dragging and holding then dropping the app into the trash and it says "uninstall unsuccessful." Am I missing something. Can anyone give me a hint? I just want to remove the app that I installed via fission.
Thank you!
Just use Titanium Backup. Click on the app you want to remove and then select uninstall and poof its gone. The free version is able to do this, just search for it in the market if you aren't using it already.
nice! thank you for your help. deleted the program without any problems.
Hello
I recently did a backup of my cellphone and installed a new rom erasing all my data.
After the rom was installed i restored apps and information, but i decided not to reisntall some apps i didnt use much.
Now i see in the phone an icon for each app with the name and the android robot picture, when i click says "this application is not installed on the phone"
My problem is i cant remove this icons i tried and wont let me.
Is there a way to remove them?
Thanks a lot
I have auto run at startup these major apps.
JuiceDefender Beta
Ring Scheduler
Car Home Ultra when put in my dock
Since I installed which I have removed Wondershare MobileGo it terminated all my startup apps now I can not longer get any of them to start! Is there an app that I can restore or fix this functionality?
Uninstall and re download?

First thing I tried.. I think the app somehow disabled them from running at startup so I need something to restore these blocked apps from running at startup.
soooo I used titaniumbackup to freeze and delete some apps after I had backed em up
now I wanted to perform a factory reset on the phone so I started restoring/unfreezing all the apps I had deleted/frozen
problem 1:
now I had deleted an app called lgsetupwizard which is apparantly the setup you go trough first time you turn on your device,
now it started replacing my launcher with this, and I couldn't change it to anything else...
problem 2: for one app I accedentaly clicked the delete backup instead of restore which was an app called lgslideaside I don't know what it does
and if it's important for the system to still work after a reset..
and if I can reset the device with the setupwizard still frozen? :s
thanks in advance
At this point you're probably better off restoring the phone using either the *.tot or *.kdz method.

Problem1: Can you drag down the notification bar and click the settings icon right above? If so then you could probably set from there the home app.
Problem2: I don't think its really important for the system to operate since lgslideaside is like an gesture app switching with 3 fingers you can switch apps if you slide your fingers to the other side so slideaside ;p
I don't know or you can reset the device with the setupwizard frozen I think you can but did you tryed to enable it from the Apps tab in the settings?
Else if setupwizard is really screwed and if its important then you could maybe push the setupwizard and the lgslideaside to your phone but you have to take it from the same rom you have but if you have stock then try to find a stock rom from the same android version and the the apk/odex. If everything doesn't work then you maybe need to flash the Stock android 4.4.2 kdz or jellybean in normal mode but This would be the last thing i would recommend to you since your phone is still booting ;p
Try my things and i hope your problem couldbe solved:good:
