Disable volume buttons

Is there a way to disable volume up/down buttons?
They are very sensitive and I often press them unintentionally.

Yeah, I was interested in this? Are there any applications to run them these buttons?

any ideas ?

AE Button plus does this. I have it on my HTC Touch2 and have the volume buttons disabled. Works perfectly fine.

Volume hardware buttons increase/decrease volume steps

Hi XDA-Developers,
As some other people, I have a problem with the hardware volume keys. The increase and decrease volume steps when pressing the hardware volume buttons is too big.
In the HTC volume control, the volume can be fine-tuned by pressing on the screen, but not with the hardware buttons. When using the hardware buttons, the volume will increase or decrease with 3 bars at the time.
Is there a way to edit this? (register edit?)
I couldn’t find the solution for this problem after hours of searching…
I hope someone can help me with this problem

I think it's not exactly a problem it's just 3 bars by default. But I'm pretty sure there should be some way to tweak the registry and reduce it to 1 bar.

Can't adjust Volume anymore,help!

When pressing volume key up or down, the volume bar is not showing on the screen thus the volume can't be changed,this happened both Ring volume and media volume,I need go to Settings--Sound and Brightness to adjust the volume, any thoughts?
My N1 is rooted and with CM 5.0.4.1 rom

bluetooth no volume down?

So i just started using my bluetooth headphones..when i press volume down on the nexus it will not work..i have to grab the slider on the screen to get it to go down or use my volume down button on my headphones..Do you guys know how to get volume down physical key to work? It shows its lowering but doesnt go to effect ..
