Anyone have a release date for the official release of WM6 for the 8525 on AT&T?

So anyone know when AT&T is going to release the official WM6 for the 8525?

The online tech guys told me Oct. 19th

Wow, not till the 19th?!
Where would we download it from?

I assume it will be posted on the HTC America site where they have the current ROM update for the 8525. I'm assuming they will also put out a press release since there are other AT&T devices that will be getting a WM6 update (Blackjack, etc.)

AFAIK it was released today for premier accounts. 399 with 2 year contract.

He wasn't asking about the 8925. He was asking about when WM6 will be available.

We can’t really confirm any details at this time but a little birdie gave word yesterday that the HTC HD2 is going to receive an update in the coming weeks. Expected to address various bugs and most importantly address issues of the device freezing our source was short on details. That’s all we have to go on for now, but as soon as we get wind of more details, we’ll get it out the HD2 faithful!

Told yall, although for me, lil too late, I already pre-order the Evo 4G. Hopefully this update will be stable and come with other fixtures.

i really hope so.. the only thing that bugs me is the way texting works in sence.. it needs work.

Look for update 2.13. It's the update that HTC just made for TMOUS and it's just pending TMOUS approval (it's possibly already approved since they have a release date for it, but it's still got to go through the corporate molasses)

This is probably just the 2.13 Rom.... I haven't heard anyone saying it makes much of a difference. Actually a lot of people say it seems a lot slower. I hope they come out with a radio update that improves the 3G reception... that's the only problem I have.

Froyo update in korea around mid Oct

I know many of us are waiting for the froyo update so I did some searching in korean blogs and web sites. Many are pointing to mid Oct as the release date. It's not officially from Samsung, but from different sources. No word yet on European and American versions.

Hopefully this means WiFi model is a month or so earlier.

Finally, an exact date. No more time waiting everyday xD

I wouldn't bank on it, wifi only is still on 3.1 in Canada and the only carrier to offer an upgrade is Rogers which is ridiculous as Samsung Canada have not pushed the updated to wifi only Tabs nor have they said why they haven't
