Gd evening all,
In the Agenda view of the calendar tab of the HTC Sense, it first show me all the next appointments, and it takes a second to display suddenly the "all day" items...
My question is : Is there a tweak for the Calendar tab to NOT display the "all day" items in the agenda view ??
4 months later : Still looking/hoping for an answer... anybody ?

The tough question for the week:
Normally, on the start-page, the date/time and text for the next "upcoming appointment" is displayed. 1 appointment (if any entered in the Calendar) is potentially visible.
BUT if you have three meetings right after each other, you can get an unpleasant surprise from forgotten meetings suddently appearing with no time to prepare - unless, that is, if you take the effort to go into the calendar function and check the next couple of days. But thats not practical.
Wouldn't it be nice if you could choose to display the next 1, 2 or 3 appointments (just 1 line each) REGARDSLESS of how many days before they occur - without having to enter the Calendar and click though the days/weeks?
IS THAT POSSIBLE????

You can configure your calendar in such a way that you can see multiple days and multiple appointments etc...
Its a great today plugin and well documented!!! Just explore it!

Is there a Today plugin will display the monthly view of a calendar with color coding or other indicators for appointments for each day?
I know rltoday can display a monthly calendar but last I check it doesn't have any way of signifying if there is an appointment for that day.
dunno if I understood your request, but I use SPB Diary
not sure about a plugin that can just display the monthly view... but I do know that tapping the calendar icon in Pocketbreeze will popup a month calendar that shows dots for appointments.

PocketBreeze has a 'pinned' calendar and a pop-up calendar. The pinned calendar shows the entire month on the Today Screen, but does not show the appointment timeslots on the calendar.
The pop-up calendar will show the timeslots, but it's only displayed when you select it.
In my screen captures, I have iLauncher at the top and PocketBreeze below.
Most of my appointments are 'free' so they don't display on the pop-up calendar.

I am looking for a plugin that displays the monthly calendar with some sort of coding (different color, etc.) that tells me when I have an appointment at a quick glance. But I wanted this on the today screen, without having to press anything to pop up. It doesn't have to show as much detail as that pop up calendar on pocketbreeze, but maybe just to le tme know that I have something going on that day displayed as a different color.

This super-small plug-in does what you want I think. It gives you a calendar on your today screen and adds a plus next to any day you have appointments.
Problem is that it is only in Japanese. However, the options on it are very minimal and if you play with it a little then you can know what all the menus are saying without actually being able to read them.

Hey guys - possible newbie question! (actually I know it's anewbie question LOL).
I am staring to input dates into the calendar - and for some reason it's only showing me something i have planned for Sunday (future dates) vs some appointments i have current day.
Is there a way to adjust the settings on the today screen so i can see every upcoming appointment on the current day, and futuer appointments?
btw - i did go into the Calendar Personal settings and checked display all upcoming. But it still won't show.
Hi, have tried to search for this, but to no avail. Does anyone know of a way to extend the warning in manila of upcoming calendar events from 1 day as it stands to say 3 days? The standard windows homescreen shows events for the upcoming week but its only one day in manila. Anyone any idea?
I would like this as well, I have an appointment Wednesday but won't be able to see it on HOME TODAY screen till tomorrow, ideally I would like to see the next appointment.

i think there's no way,
because it's linked with the htc and outlook calendar.
nokia s60 (e66) calendar has the same problem because it's based on mso calendar to sync it.
you only can set it as "whole day" - "every year" appointment with a 2 day reminder ).
works good for me
and i can sync it to every mso compatible device.
(or you should think about a homescreen tweak and a other calendar)

I ended up using ManilaBirthday too ... but did not like the idea .. I mean ... having to start separate application to check if somebody has birthday devalues whole idea of having birthday REMINDER on front page, so it does in fact REMINDS you
Manila Birthday also has that "generation of calendar entries" ... which is OK, but I'm not sure how does it work if I change birthday date. May be I just need to regenerate.
Oh well ... I guess that is my best choice ... I really miss SPB Mobile Shell with birthday reminders.
