This is the DLL used in WM6.1 standard to manage the "my pictures" tab. It is part of the sliding panel media home screen and plugins.
In the new htc "camera" appz those are the correct path but in older phones the new camera application doesn't work
Hey
I want to store my photos and videos on my storage card. I have changed this setting in the advanced menu on the camera settings but now i can't see them when i flick through the photos on the TF3D photos and videos screen.
Is it possible to change the folder location settings so that it shows my photos on the TF3D screen?

Hi There,
You can store your photos on yoru storage card then go to TF3D photos and select Album - then select Albums - you should have the option to select your Storage Card now (sometimes you have to select Albums twice for the storage card - probably just read time).
Select the album you want to appear on TF3D and open it. Then click Menu and select Set Album as Favourite.
Your selected album now appears on TF3D - what i tend to do is make a compilation album of my favourite photos for TF3D and make that my favourite - then i have my normal albums on my storage card.
Hope this helps.
On a similar subject, is there anyway of storing more 'personal' photos elsewhere which are not viewed in TouchFlo 3D? Also, is it possible to password protect certain folders?
I have not used a WinMo device before
Thanks, that was great! I appreciate it...

On the Same note, I'd like to change where the Videos are stored. I don't like them placed into the same folder as the picutres.
Is it just a reg entry?

Use Total Commander, select the 'sensitive' pictures and set them to hidden on their properties. You could make a new directory, call it Dodgy Pics (or whatever). Paste your sensitive material into the new directory, select all and set them to hidden, then hide the directory too!
(will only visible using Total Commander or Resco, etc)

You could put 'em in an encrypted zip file.

use file explorer or sync from your computer and make a SD CARD VIDEOS folder or whatever you wish to name it. This folder and subfolders will show up in Album - Albums view
Fotos from Camera must be in StorageSD\Pictures\100XPRIA
Videos from Camera must be in StorageSD\Video\100XPRIA
And at the same time Media Panel must see pictures and video folder!
I tried to change some values in registry but after reset some values returned to default settings. No one setting had no affect...
I'm going crazy....
first you have to change your language-code to the htcalbum.409.mui.dll (windows folder) in the one for your roms language (without running tf3d)
then restart tf3d and you can choose within the album which folder you prefer
I don't know about tf3d nothing.
I need just change default setting \Storage card\DCIM\100XPRIA to StorageSD\Pictures\100XPRIA etc.
Hi guys, I have Touch-it 10.4 on my X1. And with it I have a question about the "Photos and Videos" section of TF3D.
How can I change the default folder for this section? From the menus I have the option to add album, which leads to a folder (on my microSD card). That is great, but the problem is, that when I connect X1 to my pc in storage mode, and disconnect it, the album folder is removed and only the default one stays (where the HTC camera application puts its images).
Good evening,
I have an HTC diamond 2. By default the pictures taken with the GPS option by the camera are stored in /Storage card/My Documents/My Poi.
I would like to change the directory and store them in /Storage card/GEO-PHOTOS/ to use them with TOMTOM. I did not found the option to do that.
Thanks for the help
Use Advanced Configuration Tool

Can't get the Advanced Configuration Tool to change the location for the geotagged images folder (my pois) to \Storage Card\geo-photos. You'll find lots of pointers from the registry thought. Anyone who knows the registry bit better could you have a look? eg. change the default gps-tagged photos folder to \Storage Card\geo-photos.
thanks, Mika
Is there any other way to change the default picture directory beside the advanced configuration tool? Tried 3 times with no change, just want to mark a location on my storage card as default.
