Hey, i want to upgrade my HTC so i can use the latest Manilla and themes.
I've been reading through some guids but i wasn't sure which one to use and which ROM to use. Some include radio... Others don't.
I'm also not sure how to flash my phone exactly. It seems that the installation also differs per ROM version and things like that?
So i'm kinda hoping someone here can tell me which ROM i have to install for my phone. Cause it needs to be WWE first, right? It's a Dutch telephone, so i'm sure it isn't WWE right now.
Here are some details about my phone:
ROM Version: 1.14.404.3 (22273) NLD
ROM Date: 12/09/08 <-- dd/mm/yy
Radioversion: 1.09.25.14

So can someone please tell me what apps i need to download in order to use the latest Manilla??

i am new to this site and new to this mobile (o2 xda mini its htc made), i got this from my brother who rarely uses it.

i know that are postings regarding new rom and upgrades, but i dont understand all this tech stuff, it will be helpfull if someone just give me the link from where to download the latest rom in english. that works well

but before installation could any one tell me whether this is the latest and worh to download or something else(newer or better) is there which i can download and use.
I have a tmobile mda and i downloaded the new radio rom 2.47 and it tells me i cant use that udate utility. Help anyone. thanx
Just got off the phone with tmo and their going to email me the unlock code and instructions on how to do it for my mda( 24-72 hours) after i unlock I'll ask more questions . I been reading around and it seems your phone has to be unlocked for most of these roms to work. So I'll be back in a few days!!

I have been messing around with my HD and to be honest im not exactly sure what I am doing, as I put on 6.5 by Dutty and it messed my hd right up. Green screens, freezing and re-booting all the time.
I now have gone back to an orange rom (which is really quick, but old) but if i let you know what I have on here, maybe you can let me know the best way to go to hopefully have a trouble free 6.5 version.

You need to use HSPL 1.56 for roms based on 1.56+. This should solve all your issues.
Read and follow this guide. As you already have HSPL 1.14 all you need to do is flash HSPL 1.56 and then flash chosen rom (Duttys 6.5)

i bought the hd2 from t-mobile uk.
I would like to upgrade my rom. But when i put my serial no: Ht9clnw04547 (in official htc hd2 website) it says that my device is not suitable for upgrade.
Please adviseon any upgradation.
My software details for leo are as folllowed:

You need to HSPL first your device ... then you can flash over to another rom

try and use this one: ht9c2nw04056 and get 1.66. WWE good luck!

I just bought a new HTC HD2 from India....
I want to flash my phone as to run windows 7....but cant flash it as it have spl-3.03.0000
I am new so i dont know which region old rom i will download to downgrade my hd2 to use hspl.
early i downloaded WWE rom but my hd2 didint support it.

Did you check with the serial number on htc.com support/downloads?
If you have an unbranded device, you´ll be able to check what WWE version you actually have...
Or, if you post here the system and software information from your HD2 - you can find those things in the settings tab of Sense. With this data, it´s a bit easier to find out what you´ve got and help.

Yup i had olredy done that and there is only Rom3.14 update is avilable for my HD2.

OK, I think you indeed have the original Indian device.
Check here if the older ROM is still downloadable... (I tried, it is,
search for version 1.48.720.2, scroll down to the end of the page)
and there you go, ready to downgrade and HSPL your phone!

Really? Not to offend you, but there are thousands of FAQs all of the internet, with youtube video's telling you what to do. And you decide to ask it...really dude, just follow the steps in this faq. Next time either use the Search tool, or use google.
