So I have to say, I really don't like where the start menu button is on this. I really would like to replace that area with two soft keys, "Phone" and "Camera" since both of those hard keys on my phone are very temperamental.
So really, what I would like to do is remove the Start Menu, Contacts, and Set all together, and just have the slight overlay and the words "Phone" and "Camera".
Is there a way to do this without changing ROMS? I would rather not. Advise would be appreciated.

Anyway...........I want to reset the phone, to erase everything off of it, and I can't remember the keys to press to do a hard reset, and then the confirm commands either.

ok, I got it, you are supposed to press the send button, but none of my front panel buttons work, is there any buttons ont he slide out keyboard that will work for this?

No. Also it was use quite an amount of screen if done. You can use apps(require root ) to mimmick the virtual buttons. They will just form a overlay at the bottom which can be hidden at will. One which I use is: Virtual Button Bar
I have read that you can click the dots at the top and locking apps is an option, i just dont seem to have it!

Yes you can. Pull down the top bar (where you can turn on/off wifi), under the wifi logo there is an option to turn it on and off. I don't know what its called, but it has a weird description. Good luck
