Phone app Skin

Hi..
I have always felt the Skin on the phone app is so boring..
I just stumble over DailPad Maker ..
I LOVE it..

Thanks for the comments! If you switch to landscape you will just use the default landscape dialler skin. The authors of the skin program have gone awol so despite my suggestions they are not listening.

I liked the psk skins until I started dialing a number, and noticed that the buttons revert back to their defaults when held down, and the Jam intellidialer overlaps the background image. It prolly always did this, but it wasnt noticable on the original background.
When I uninstalled pskinstaller, the buttons on phone went really ugly Any way to revert to defaults? I am using 'My Blue' for now, which looks ok, but the buttons are still reverting back to their original look when pressed down (only when pressed down, as soon as you let go of them, the skin reappears)

Yepp
Only thing is.. if U install a orginal and then a landscape.. to uninstall U need to uninstall the landscape.. and install the orginal .. and then uninstall that..to get it back to the way it was .. no biggie..

the buttons revert to the OEM look when depressed because the bitmap for the depressed button is located in a dll that is much harder to manipulate. "skin choosers" for the phone app, actually only rename and replace about 18 different bmps (i think) located in the windows dir. If you explore to the windows dir and view by type of file, it isn't hard to figure out which ones i'm talking about.
Do a search on this forum for "phone skins" or "depressed" and/or "buttons". I know there are several posts concerning this subject. There are even a few different dlls floating around that will change the look of the depressed buttons.....

How do i remove calendar and contacts buttons

Hi, im trying to make more screen space on my today screen and wondering how do i remove the calendar and contacts buttons that are at the bottom?
I tried to search but not sure if this is a tool bar task bar or what

Remove them or change them? There aer a million soft key changers

I would just like to either hide it or remove it from my today screen. i use the HTC Home plugin which doesnt give me much space at the bottom for the rest of the plugins. the Calendar Contacts bar at the bottom takes up space that i would like to use for plugins

I'd like to get rid of this bottom bar as well and cannot find a way ... I'd like to be able to hide the top start bar as well.

Here is the wisdom with which you seek:
Just place the .exe file in your Windows/Startup folder on your phone, reboot and your bar will be gone.

Great little tweek really cleans up my Today screen!

Anyone know a hack to keep all of WM6 in full screen mode?
I'd like all apps to behave like PIE in full screen mode. The start bar and bottom bar remain hidden until you press a hard button.
Any ideas?

OMFG! I'm the FIRST person to comment on this in over FOUR YEARS?! lol Still rollin with the Titan (Mogul)! Old School to the Core, I am! tried various other botom bar hiders/removers. I think the Today Shrink 1 got rid of my sms altogether!

Im looking for an ez to use app that would allow me to hide the bottom softkeys on the today screen but keep them active without having to do reg tweaks. I've searched high and low but no luck. Thanks.

yes there is i have included it as attachment download it and then copy it to \Windows\startup folder this if u want that it should start automatically after a softreset if u don't want that then just copy it to Program folders and execute it from there thie soft key will disappear but reappear if u open file explorer or any other prograam but it will disappear once u are in today secreen !!!

I used the dcinobar and really like it. I would like to get rid of the system tray as well, but do not want to use kaiser tweak to do so. when i used that i killed me twice!. Is there any other way to do that?

U can use PHM traylaunch there u can see all the icons that are in traylaunch u can delete or all of them and tray will disappear or u can also try the tray display cab it is a prograam that will ask to display tray or NOT !! feel free to try try first PHM tray display and then the cab see which one is the best.

Yea this! I've tried Dci, PMC Today Shrink and nueNoBar(Nue worked for a few days then stopped) anybody got any idea's? I just want the bottom row gone only on the today screen, other apps are okay to show the bottom keys.

by using the search and reading a little bit trough the threads, or with
"dcinobar".
You will find the prog here, but you have to use the search

I used to use this till my left hardware softkey stopped responding just chuck it or a shortcut in your startup folder

This is the best way to do this.
Search VJtoggletoday on this forum and you will find all that you need.
Set 26 on top bar and 1 to lower bar.
If you want to hide also top bar set 1 to all.

Mine is a HTC TOUCH

None of them worked, the first link here, toggletoday alpha, dcnobar. I run every one of these apps, but any new app is openned in my ppc

S2U2 Lock/Unlock wave files.

S2A Text
S2U2Unlock Path (what is launched when S2U2 unlocks).
Usage:
Install and load.
Select wav/exe files by clicking on the "..." buttons next to the text box. (NOTE: No file filters are applied, so you need to select the correct kind of file your self!!!)
Edit S2U and S2A text.
Hit "File->Save", and then hit "Close". (iLock is automatically restarted! )
Requires:
S2U2 (1.02 or above)
.Net CF 2.0
S2U2SettingsPlus supports MoDaCo AppToDate!

First off I have WM 6.1
What is Unlock EXE for? I tried the path to s2u2.exe and it only kept the lock screen on permanently. I had to do a reset to get back to today.
Also, once file->save is selected, the close button does nothing, but the options are saved anyway.

Yes this most useful. I believe without you have to edit the registry manually.

Great works...Hopefully in future we will see more function. Likewise changing background,clock etc..We can still do these things. But you can add those function, so anybody can change it with settingplus..Thanks again..

Just a feedback, the soft key <Close> did not close the program, the screen still remains. Need to close it via the [x] at the top right hand corner.

Yes it has. I've recently gone back to it, and added the "Unlock EXE" and tweaked it a bit.
BTW, UnlockEXE is what S2U2 will launch when you unlock the device.

How large files were they?
Were they wav files, or some other format?
And, was the path generated in the text box correct?

The soft key works, even ask you for a confirmation..

will this still work in the latest cersion os S2U2 v1.30?

I believe not for the S2U2 and S2A text.. cos' A_C moves it to another location now.
