thanks in advance!
Looks like the same Lockscreen used on Samsung Pixon.
For me, its just another not memory-optimized Samsung-App and the "Press and hold on one button" is not a very safe lock...
Hmmmm....
I keep seeing this lock screen around the net. Mine has the standard 6.5 slide to unlock. Where did you get this one?
This is a old version of windows default lock screen.

looks like a modifyed windows 6.1 lockscreen....
it comes standard on the i920 verizon version of the Omnia 2, except it doesn't say hold to unlock, just push to unlock. Over on modaco someone tried to alter it to make the button a slide to unlock but leave the rest, as it has controls for touchplayer built into it. Maybe someone here who knows flash and action script will have better luck?

Try Yellow Man by SSkin / Prompt. It works great on Omnia i8000

anyone? Personally I like the Samsung lockscreen because of the touchplayer controls built in. So if someone can figure out a way to turn the button into a slider it would be awesome..
did you try Slide2Unlock. Not using it myself, but they have some nice options, but I don't remember if they have a music player options build in.
yeah i tried that, with vj brisk, but I am trying not to install more stuff..trying to keep free space and use fewer resources.
I had it.... And switched it instantly when i heard of S2U2....
Why? because of the lack of customization... and i think its more safe having a slide to wanser when getting the pda from the pockets
to VODOOS user
Yes, if you install Slide2Play, when the app is open, the controls show up on the lockscreen. even better that the S2U2 has some options to open S2P when you plug the hearphones, it has a option to show album-art on lock screen when playing music... and some more things... shame is that S2P is a bit basic... But in adiction with S2U2 , works very well.

Can you kindly advise.
Thank you

I tried to modify HTC Home, because it is IMHO to big. I only need the Home Tab so i wondered if it might be possible that the tab selection is not being displayed to save some Space (in the pic is shown what i want to be displayed).
The greatest thing at all would be if only the Files needed for the Home Tab would be installed. But that is not necessary at all, because i would be able to figure that out by myselfe and create that cab file.

Maybe someone knows an other application, that is able to display that i desire. Or a SMS, Email, and Call Notification as plugin for Pocket Plus as Icons that can be plased free into the Tabs.
I'm looking forward for your help
Greets so far.
rltoday has a skin that will do what you want. Free program that works very well.
rltoday still have bugs, It can not work properly in my hima I have given feedback to the creator
It would be much nicer if the area you want to disappear could appear and disappear by selecting the tabs. That means when you click onces on the Home tab the clock display appears when you click it again it will disappear. And that way for all Tabs of HTC Home, that would be a great development for the HTC HOME.
Why not use HTC Home Custom 1.0 beta5? (HHC 1.0 beta5?)

Why? Cause what he wants to do is not possible with Home Customizer.
AFAIK it is not possible at all yet.
I would really like it if it was possible. Ideally with the custom if there's only 1 tab used the tab bar should disappear... It would be perfect
If rlToday doesn't bug for you, you really should give it a try.
I've been using it in place of HTC Home for weeks now, and never looked back.
It looks better, smaller, more customizable... simply awesome
Should check out the skins made by a person known as FOXCAT:

Thnx for your help so far.
RLtody seems to be a nice tool with great capabilities. Unfortunatly the HTC Theme doesnt work for me. It gives me odd graphics, but i havnt had the time yet to change the skin.xml for my needs.
But I'm shure i'll get what i want from this app. Indeed i'll get more i've ever hoped when starting the thread (A today plugin, exacly like i want it and fully customizable).
@PAPPL
It isn't possible to do what i want with any customize tool for HTC Home, because all that they are capable of is changing the reg keys in HKLM\Software\HTC\HTC Home and replace the Images. For both i dont need any tool at all. But there isnt any reg key (at least i found none) that is responsible for the task i want. Nor did i find the place of the prog, where the graphics are defined. I think the only way to find that out is to get a hand onto the sourcecode. But i dont know anything at all of reverse compilation.
Maybe someone knows an other application, that is able to display that i desire. Or a SMS, Email, and Call Notification as plugin for Pocket Plus as Icons that can be plased free into the Tabs.

Not too sure what you are looking for here, but you might give HTCPlus! a try. I find it a bit smaller and does what I am looking for.
Is there any such dialer available that works bug-free with the Windows Mobile 6 Bell Canada Touch/Vogue, and provides an onscreen talk/call button? By default pretty much everything else can already be done via touchscreen, but to do talk/call you *HAVE* to use the physical hard green button, and that doesn't make sense. I'd rather be able to make the call via the touchscreen.
Also, something that preferably has the numeric keys and and all the call status keys (speaker, mute etc) all on the same screen, instead of having to toggle back and forth as with the default dialer, would be ideal.
Anything come close to this? Thanks...

are you talking about Minimal DIALER? there is cab file for download here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=395086
There is another one that I like better that is called the iphone dialer. I use it and love it. Here is the link.
http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=25681&highlight=touch+iphone+dialer
This dialer, as a .cab install, does not have smart dialing. When I used Nexvisions manilla something something rom, this was the default dialer, smart dialing included. What gives?
Ok so my first question is... How do you disable the call bubble pop up? I would like to use the default lockscreen's slide to answer... The call screen is pretty ugly in my opinion...
My second question is... How do I fix this? I'm using a treo pro wm 6.5.3 with realvga...

As you can see the words under the world is supposed to be at the bottom of the picture but in this case, something is wrong with the lockscreen. The last 1cm is a glitch? ( I suppose you can say that...)
Thks in advance...
Don't worry about the gray thing in the taskbar. I'll fix it later so it's not a problem.

I use S2U2 to handle both my lockscreen and dialer (which offers slide 2 answer or reject calls)...Get it here...Haven't heard much success wit Real VGA so tell me, which ROM are u using n its performance.
I don't really use S2U2 now because I couldn't change where the slider starts and ends and that really bothered me... So I decided to revert back to the default lockscreen. I'm using trickbiker 121's Windows Mobile 6.5 build 28230. I'm not sure about what performance are you talking about...

Actually in the appearance settings of S2U2, you can can also switch the slider to the middle where sliding to the left toggles between Vibration/Ringer mode and sliding to the right just unlocks the phone....I love such a function as it gives me an easier way to switch back n forth between vibrate n ringer without even unlocking my phone or launching a program.
Hmmm, I was talking about for example, instead of having the slider slide 204px to unlock the phone, you can change it to slide 302px to unlock the phone.
fyi, to get the lockscreen to take your calls, get a program called smart lock

this allows you to enable this from the settings menu =]

i've been playing around with this for about an hour now. I like it. damn I might even buy it after the 10 day trial.
Be careful with Pocket Shield.
There is an issue:
If you uninstall the application, you will lost the HTC dialer and get the ugly Wimo dialer.
There is no solution unless doing a hard reset !

Hey who told you that? You just need to change the dialer at PocketShield settings --> Phone tab --> Protect touch screen --> + --> Use standard dialer.
No need to hardreset!
I can also recommend Pocketshield. In fact I have made some skins for it, this is my latest and coolest: http://jdbp.mobi/phorum/read.php?6,10101 and I am so happy they chose it to be the default skin after installing
So after trying it for a few days I uninstalled it. It's nice & all, but I don't like my lockscreen being enabled any time i turn off the display on my HD2. If they'd implement it so that it'd only every be enabled when I press the shield quicklink, I'd probably buy it. I do see in the registry that they disable the lockscreen from being on auto, so I'm guessing it's just part of the program.
I'll stick with the lockscreen in CHT.

Hi all, I usually don't post new threads with requests/questions, as I am happy to search, read, and find out on my own.
But this time I think I need some help.
Is it possible to change my lockscreen for another HTC lockscreen without flashing a new ROM?
I am very happy with the ROM in my sig, but would like to install the HD Mini's pull-down lock screen. I know of apps like S2U2, but would like to use the real HD Mini lockscreen.
If this has been answered or addressed before, I apologise and thanks for any help that you can provide
Ugh..the test ROM...soooo terrible. But alas, yes there is a way. In my opinion, the easiest way to get the HD Mini lockscreen is to install CoOkies Home Tab and then select it from the CHT Editor options under "Lockscreen".

Nah, I don't really mind the test ROM. Actually I kinda like the 'Test Only-Not For Sale' Bootscreen.
But I have installed CHT before, and for some reason, it seemed to cause that ROM all sorts of problems. I was looking for possibly Manilla files way of doing it, or wherever the lockscreen stuff is in /Windows.
But I'll probly just get desperate and install the latest CHT, as 1.85 was the version giving me headaches on this ROM
I appreciate your answer, hopefully I don't end up in another HR situation, I'm one of those set it all up manually types, the backup stuff seems to introduce its own whole set of bugs/probs, but man does setup take forever doing it all manually
Thanks again
EDIT: Installed CHT 2.0, and so far has caused no adverse effects.
Mini HD lockscreen
You may want to try this standalone cab which does not require any new rom install or cookie home tab install:

But you need Pocketshield, once that you can install any skin over it.
You can pull it up or down or both, depending on how you set it up.
