I know the Universal's pre installed themes seem to change depending on the ROM installed.
I've got the I-Mate ones, and the T-Mobile one, I don't suppose anyone is able to post the rest (Orange, O2 Etc.)?
I hope that someone uploads the Vodafone VPA IV VGA theme
I am still hoping to see the VPA IV Today Theme ....
Can you isntall these to the SD Card? If yes under what directory?
Thanks for compiling them.
It is also nice if you could post screen shots.
You can install it in the ExtROM if you have unlocked it with no problems, and the 9000's storage.
Some say that you can use the SD card but I haven't found away around this. I read somewhere that you place the themes in the My Documents folder inside the SD card and that you delete the ignore_my_docs file.
I did this, but I heven't found any such file to delete...
Anyone help?
Hi Mythozz,
Thanks. When you say install it to the extension ROM. Does it only install during a hard reset, thus installed only in the main memory?
After a hard reset the ExtendedROM is disappeared and you have to use buzz's tool to show it again. You still have all the programs you placed there before the h/r.
The ExtROM's capacity isn't measured in the total amount of storage memory of the 9000. It is shown as ExtendedROM and has 10MB's of memory. So for the time being I place there my themes, without having the main memory increasing in size
You can put the .tsk theme files directly into the top level of the Storage Card folder, do not put them in a subfolder.
These Themes will then show in Start>Settings>Today>Appearence.
If you have a large number of themes then your top level Storage Folder will become cluttered, but's it's OK if you only have 2 or 3 that you switch between and you want to save the main memory.

Is there anything more constructive you can offer in this thread?
Why don't you make or give us a theme as well?

Oh man, it was so simple! Thank you my friend...
I started with asking for the Vodafone theme and all we discuss is where you can put it!

heres the o2s universal theme
How do I find the Orange one? I have an M5000, although I've always used custom themes, I'm not even sure I've seen a specific Orange one?
heres another 1 i got with my exec.
i tried out the themes but the problem is that the layout of the icons don't match so where i get the small side panel with some extra funtions is covered with black background. are there any solution for this.
ps i found my theme in windows folder, by looking for the extention .tsk

any idea?....
Vodafone today theme.
Thanks for the VF theme.
One point to note about the o2 supplied themes, is that they don't work in true VGA (OzVGA) mode.
Hello Everyone ,
I just came across this little program that lets you veiw your today themes right on your magician , just extract the exe file from the zip and run it any where on your device.
Much less tedious then having to install each one just to see what they are esp. if you have many themes.
I tried it on my mini and it works just fine.
A more detailed description is in the enclosed txt file
This is good sh!t
Heres my first TF3D theme. I was going to change more of the icons/buttons etc but just didnt have the time....Feel free to make additions to it, you got a month left
If you dont know how to install .theme files search for tf3d config
btw, thx to NisseDILLIGAF for his blood lol
looks great man! i love the icons
Having trouble using this cool theme
I downloaded the file, I unzipped the file, I extracted the file to my PC. I use XP. I copied the extracted file to my phone's internal memory under Pictures and I can't see it when I look for it in my phone.
Also, I can't open it on my PC, it says it's not "a valid theme."
Any suggestions? Total NOOB question, I know, but that's what I am at this point with this phone.
Thanks! Ellen

You need to change the last part in the name halloween.zip to halloween.theme
And you also need this app TF3D config, to set it as your theme. You'll find it here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=405749

WOW....love this theme, nice little touches like the spider webs behind the program icons, little pumpkins on the favourite people, great icons, grave stones and all...well done...10/10
Glad you liked it
My wife loves this theme on her diamond!
HE HE.....last night I checked my weather and on the full moon clear sky image is now a small witch on a broomstick....brilliant theme....just so fun...

Wow. Maybe I'm just cursed but nothing is working. I changed the name of the file as you suggested, still nothing. Windows claims it is not a valid theme file.
Then I downloaded Diamond TF3D Config Setup v0.6.7.CAB per your advice above, and I can't find anything to open THAT file, either.
I had the Instinct prior to this phone and I am afraid the Diamond is waay over my head with regard to tweaks. I sure would like to come up to speed, though. I am using the Sprint issued Diamond with the burgundy flat back. If that makes any difference.
Can anyone help me with this? I want so much to be able to tailor this phone with cool themes, etc.
Thanks! Ellen
i love this theme very much thx for sharing
Absolutely kicks butt! Sprint Diamond users, delete tweak.xml from TF3D folder to make app work.
I love your Theme!
Odd, though, the last number on my clock flips back and forth from old format to new theme. What do you suppose could be causing that?
And I found my installation solutions here: Originally Posted by ellenincolorado

Quite a cool I phone looking app. How hard would it be for someone to make this a panel?
I guess really the question should be... Why don't you just buy an iPhone? My guess is this is just a today screen plugin, similar to TF3D. If that is the case, running it should be about the same at TF3D on the X1. I know some people in the Diamond forum were trying to get ifonz to work.
Jep, same thought! Go und lock yourself up with an iPhone...
i really dont get why anyone on earth likes the iphone. but whatever.
Well why not a iphone lookalike panel when the tf3d seems very popular,it´s all about to replace/complement the panels we already have onboard as i see it..
iphone is a nice phone and i cant say i havent put iphone like apps on my 6800 and thought about it for my tp but i thought again and whats the point i may as well have just gotten an iphone. its probably best to get apps from iphone (if at all possible) instead of the flashy looking ui. it gets boring after a while. not taking anything away from the people that develop those programs because its something i cant do and it amazes me. so keep up the good work but just not for me at least not for extended periods.
you could ask the author
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=436656&highlight=ifonz
Does this install as a Today plugin or an app itself?
Oops... found the answer. It ain't a Today plugin. So guess it somehow replaces the today screen? And that why TS's there asking about if anyone can convert it to a panel?
I find this is a discussion worth picking up again! so has anybody put some thought to it?
I tried the latest version of ifonz ( http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=436656) and it works pretty good with full landscape support and loads of customisation options.
Now ... I know nothing about programming .. but is it hard to make it come up as a panel?
The way it works now it is an .exe which u need to start manually (similarly to the T3D before the panel .cab came out) ... so what does it take to get a panel .cab for this little app?
I thought about contacting the author but then again I dont see why this should be his business ... he probably doesnt even have the Xperia!
So any ideas on this?
thx
I'd think the one most able to come up with a panel for this at the moment should be the guy who did the panel for TF3D.
I tried installing the ifonz using the .exe but they mentioned about throwing an exception?
I've searched almost everywhere for an answer but have yet to find one. I still can't install iFonz on the XPERIA. I was wondering, do I download the files on the phone itself then run the exe (if that's possible) OR run it on the desktop/laptop with the XPERIA connected via activesync which I have been trying to do. But on my Laptop, I get an error that it has failed and on my desktop it says something about an exception.
no u are supposed to install it on the xperia ... maybe u r doing the same mistake that I did the first time I tried to install ... this may sound stupid but u need to copy the .zip onto your xperia and then actually extract the files before u can install them!
Reason I m saying this is because when u click on .zip after u copied it onto your xperia it will automatically change folder and show u a list of all the files that are in that .zip.
intuitively u would probably click the .exe right away however if u do this u get an error saying that the file cannot be installed for unknown reasons etc. if you however, extract the files to a folder of your choice then u can click the .exe and the installation works just fine
alternatively, u may just be needing to install microsoft net framework 3.5 which u can download for free on the microsoft website .. if you search this forum u will find a link to it ..
sorry for late reply, hope that helps
Ah thank you! Yes, I have installed Microsoft Net Framework (I did do my research haha). I will try it out now!
Okay, now that I have ifonz I realised that I don't like it. Worst of all, when I switch on my phone, it starts off in the ifonz page. And so I deleted the ifonz folder. But now, when I switch on my phone, they mention an error as they are unable to find ifonz.exe. How do I get rid of this annoying pop up?
hi all
Im new to here but also just purchased a HTC Diamond Touch. I previously had a P3600i.
Im really liking the new TF3D program however there are a couple of things that are driving me mental. EG - calender not showing upcoming events...
Now im not to good at the understanding of tweaking programs etc however is there a way I can have this?
Also I have SPB Mobile Shell and I used this for a while. I love this program however find that the battery life is drained within a day of using this (something TF3D doesnt do). I tried to add a new skin last night but it didnt work and now im wondering whether im doing something wrong.
Is someone able to give me step by step instructions on either how i can tweak TF3D to give me upcoming calender dates or how I can add different skins....
Man i really do sound new!!
Hi Noobie!
See this thread:http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=497197. It should tell you everything you need to know/have. I use it & it's great. I currently have an appointment on my today screen for 2 July.....
for themes.... some come in cab files and you should copy these to your internal storage and open it via file explorer
for .theme files.....
download TF3D configurator, download themes and put the .theme file into a folder somewhere on your internal storage..
when you open TF3D configurator, go to the second tab, and there's a drop down menu on the top right to select the folder where you're themes are, once you've selected a theme it'll give you the option to install it.... hey presto .... a new theme!
hope it helps
thanks so much! ill have a look at the other page and will have a go at the themes!!

Is it an HTC Touch Diamond? If so, then it should have enough space.
