Well lads , it's been a blast but I have sold my QTEk and ordered a K-Jam.. Thnaks to all those that gave me help... Good Luck all.
Why??? Why do you switch from the Qtek S110 with all its glory and 400+ MHz CPU to a system that has a slow TI OMAP processor (just look at the iPAQ communicator)?
I just switched from my iPAQ 5455 to the S110 and cant think of a better PDA atm, not even the wizard or Universal. Maybe the Atom but that is a long way to release.
Well there are some reviews poping up now , I'm not a power user appointments , texts and calls really . The Keyboard was the main thing .. Speed should be ample for me , I don't play games etc .
I guess it would be a year before we see his baby though.

I've got Dopod's Bluetooth Headset DH-1 that comes with Dopod 900.
However, the signals are too weak that I could hear nothing but 70% noise when my Dopod 900 is in the pocket of my trousers, and 100% noise when it is in my backpack....
Anybody got the same problem? Or, it is just the problem of the Bluetooth Headset....

Dopod Headset DH-1 worked very well with my Dopod 900/TW , but I never put it in my backpack , always in my blet clip, even work very well with my O2 Exec, try to delete headset in your 900 and reset again ,
I went to SiS / Dopod's Service Centre today and exchanged for another Dopod bluetooth handset. Well, the problem is more or less the same (but seems to be a little bit better). They admitted that there might be a problem with the bluetooth handset....
It's interesting that this Dopod bluetooth is given out as a gift of Dopod 900 while it does not work well with Dopod 900 at all.
Hi all, anyone here using bluetooth headset please help me. I am using MDA Pro with Motorola HS820 (mono). It works well with bluetooth turned on by comm manager but I recognised that it eat the battery quick. I try to use Pocket Zen Phone with communication setting of BT to: BT turn on when on Call (MS). That setting will turn on the BT when the phone has a call, but the connection with the BT headset is not smooth, sometime it doesnt connect. My question: is there any way to set BT of Universal to 'Auto' mode as SE phone? I missed my last SE P800 phone for that feature, save battery while still connect well to BT headset. Any help will be highly appreciated.
PS: sorry for my English because I am not native
I use dayly my jasjar with a sony ericsson hbh660 and battery is no problem at all. I tryed pocketZen few months ago, but it didn't work for me. After alla if you can turn bluetooth on on incomin calls, you can't do anything if you want to voice dial throu your headset.
Thanks for replying. I see the battery will last longer if I dont turn the BT on. Voice dialing also dont attract me because I just make 2-3 calls per day. Still looking for any software could turn on the BT on call smoothly. Any advice? TIA.

Subject: Power consumption measurements of the HTC Universal
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
It was a few days ago that I’ve published some test results of the HTC Wizard (a.k.a. i-mate K-Jam, T-Mobile MDA Vario, Qtek 9100, MDA Vario, XDA mini S, SPV M3000, VPA Compact II, Dopod 838), Bluetooth and infrared power consumption-wise. Now, the HTC Universal follows suit.
Bluetooth
First and foremost, the case of the Universal seems to be very similar to that of the Wizard: that is, it’s almost impossible to measure the additional power consumption of the Bluetooth module. The difference between the switched on and the switched off case was 1% (at most!) a day (if at all).
This, incidentally, corresponds to my measurements of the BT unit with the PDA switched on. According to my measurements, the BT unit burns between 1 and 2 mA’s in those cases. This, as the device has a 1620 mAh battery, corresponds to between 800 and 1600 hours battery life alone - that is, not taking into account the need to power the dynamic RAM, which is pretty much the same as with the HTC Wizard, which is around 1.25 mWh corresponding to about 2% battery level drop/day (don’t forget that the Wizard has a smaller, 1250 mAh battery; this is why it had a bigger, 2.5% battery charge level drop figure).
I Have Qtek S200 and after i use this software (it works ok), and turn off bluetooth, everithing is ok, but many times after some minutes my pocket is turn off.
I Have TomTom 6 too, and this software don´t make me this.
Anybody help me about this.
Thanks.
When I select smo from my contacts and click to call it it beeps for once and calls the person.I have just upgraded to WM6 from WM5 my Atom Life and everything else but this one are perfectly working...Yeah I know it is a minor bug or smt but it makes me crazy...
Do u guys have the same problem here?
Note:I have used to Xda II and after some time has passed it started to beep the same way on WM5 even I have not updated it
So what is the solution ? Downgrade to WM5?
Thanks...
