go into the herald rom development forum and click the "Sticky: Ultimate "How do I" thread - All your questions answered!" link...it should b the first post.

As the person above stated, you can find the information at the thread stated. There are a million guides for this phone but you will be better off with the phone wiki. The link the person as directed you to is here [Click Me] in case you can't find it. As the rest of us have, please read and search everything before you ask a question. Chances are very high that your question has already been answered a bunch of times. Use that search function. It will help you. Anyway welcome to the Herald forums and join the rest of us who are trying to keep the now ancient phone going.

You posted to a forum that specifically provided rules for new posts, Where a sticky displays the rule of: "Questions & Answers, ask here! *DO NOT POST A NEW THREAD UNLESS YOU ARE CONTRIBUTING* "
Pet Peeve #2: your subject is pointless and useless: "Please help me guys" means nothing.
Pet Peeve #3: There is a forum specifically for your Herald, try posting your question there
Read the links in my sig... It is OLD, but very true.
I say give the guy a break. It can be overwhelming when you search for something and 1,653,865 posts come back that MIGHT have your answer. Plus, I can see how it can be somewhat difficult if you speak a European language and are searching on an English based forum. Instead of wasting a sentence at telling him what a putz he is, why not just post a link to him that will get him closer to what he needs.
What I will agree with, is you posted in the wrong section.
Try posting your question here my Spanish friend. You may have better luck with someone helping you.

You really need to use the search option here with this...
If u read just a little the STICKYS u can find all ur answers but this thread is useless to be opened for this when the answers have been posted a thousand times.
Read rules for posting thread first
check the stickies for information regarding your problem first before starting a new thread.
READ RULES FOR POSTING THREAD FIRST.
I have Froyo on a non rooted nexus is here a way to unlock and root it it I have been trying but it will not recognize the bootloader. please help .
Thank You
You can unlock it using fastboot, just like you could in 2.1, as far as I know.
From there, flash a different recovery, then use something like this quick rooter:

First of all, wrong forum.
Second of all, you're smart enough to figure out how to put an official firmware that's not released yet on your phone. So please use the search or read the forum stickies.

First of all I did not asked to be flamed just needing help If I made a mistake I am sorry but I thought this was a friendly helpful community or are you the bad apple ?
If you read the forum more, you'll find threads similar to this one, if you don't search no one will help you, especially for this very easy question you're asking.
1. Click on the Nexus One Q&A sub forum, that forum is for asking questions and getting answers.
2. There's a sticky, 3rd one down, it's titled "***Informative Links*** - Read before clicking "New Thread"". Click that, you should get to here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=618768
3. Right there on top, 2nd link is "Root the Nexus one Tutorial" with the link: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=612858 Click it.
4. Follow to the directions. If you have issues, ask in that thread.
Helpful enough? LOL

Do a member search for BTDAG,..... then check his threads. It is called something like Noob guide to rooting and will also be in the development section.
