Can't install NVIDIA USB driver Windows 7

I'm trying to Root my Samsung Tab 10.1 and I'm stuck at a step in this thread:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1130574
Section 2 step 14.
I cant get my computer to install the unsigned USB driver.
When I browse I can see it, chooses it, but it wont install.
Instructions say just bypass the errors but I don't even get those.
It just stops the install and gives me nothing.
Any help would be great.
Thanks
Try running the attached utility and remove any Samsung references or references to any other no longer needed usb devices. Then reinstall the Samsung drivers. That's what worked for me.
I installed it on my PC (win7 64bit) yesterday following the same instructions and it loaded fine.
In your Device manager do you see the device as "APX device" with questionmark.
One more thing, try uninstalling the previos one and then reboot the PC and start again.
I used Samsung Kies and it installed the USB drivers.

I'm on 32bit. Does this matter?
And...
Do you mean to uninstall APX or the NVIDIA Boot Driver?

I don't think 32/64 bit matters.
Yes, uninstall the APX (Nvidia recovery boot driver) and then press the buttons again on Gtab to enter APX mode and connect to PC and reinstall.

[Q] windows 7 doesn't recognize galaxy s4

Hi
Whenever i connect my phone to my pc it starts to charge but i'm not able to browse the phone in explorer (it shows nothing).
In device manager i see the samsung driver with a yellow triangle
I tried a lot already:
-auto update
-manual update
-uninstall and search for new hardware
I also tried it with kies, same thing it doesnt find the phone.
I tried uninstalling everything from samsung and whatever i could find.
Still the same problem i tried kies drivers i tried more specific drivers all failed.
On my windows 8 boot it does work (another drive so they shouldnt cause trouble to each other at least i think)
and at my work on windows xp it also works without any problems
What do you think it might be?
Try installing the latest Java s/w. Also for drivers go to samsung's official website and manually install drivers.
It would work if instructions are followed properly.
Since your phone is recognized by Windows 8, your phone is alright the problem is with the OS.

Connect your phone to your PC using the USB cable... Now go into your device Manager. ..
Uninstall all the usb drivers and reboot your pc... Once it reboots it will automatically start installing all the required USB drivers again...
Now see if your phone is detected in your My Computer...

TMobile G2 cant connect to PC over wire

So, I cant seem to be able to connect my G2 to the PC via USB cable. I get "usb device not recognized" error, and when looking for the device via LGPC Suite, it says driver not installed and attempts to re-install the driver to no avail. Im using Win 7 64 bit. Here's what Ive done to attempt to fix it:
Tried uninstalling and reinstalling both the driver and LGPC Suite in my normal user account and in admin admin account.
Redownloaded both driver and LGPC Suite and doing the above.
Tried 3 different USB cables.
Tried 2 different USB ports.
Yes, Im changing the connection options on the phone from MTP and LG Software.
Phone charges normally over USB.
I *can* however connect to LGPC Suite via wifi successfully.
Any ideas? Im stumped.

Sorry for bumping old thread, but have you found a solution? I found my self in exactly same situation as you describe.
Phone is in LG Software mode
LG Suite can find the phone over Wi-fi, other modes work through USB.
Tried on two different computers, with win7/win8 respectively.
Stock EU ROM, just bought it.
Tried different USB ports.
Yet PC doesn't recognize it :/
EDIT: Never mind, solved it by following the following instructions in another thread:

You must be on 64 bit windows. Not even on 64bit, Still try this...
1) Uninstall LG Drivers, LG PC Suite and anything you see named LG. Restart PC.
2) Install latest LG Driver from this post (step 4)
3) Install Optional MTP Driver from this post (step 4)
4) Open Windows Device Manager (just to watch whats happening.)
5) Disconnect Internet (To avoid stupid online WDM drivers)
6) Connect phone with Usb and let drivers install automatically. Give it some time to install drivers keeping watch on Device Manager window.
7) Keep changing USB connect modes to all modes one-by-one on Phone and let drivers install.
You should see MTP drivers installed now. If this does not help, cant think of anything else. If this works, press THANKS button
EDIT: Connect USB at backside of pc, directly to USB on pc motherboard.

MTP USB device drivers installation Fail

Hello,
I'm using a Bell Canada Samsung Galaxy S4 model SGH-i337M.
I tried to install the following driver I download from this one of the XDA Forums: SAMSUNG_USB_Driver_for_Mobile_Phones_1590
During installation everything went fine but the part related to MTP USB device Failed.
This problem has been encountered for all the other drivers version I tried to install.
Every time I have been trying to install a driver, I always uninstalled the previous driver and rebooted before to install the new driver.
I even ran the USB driver cleaner application DriveCleanup version 0.8.1.1 befor and rebooted in order to make sure that no other USB drivers would remain on my Windows 7 x64 based computer.
No matter what I tried, I've never been able to install the MTP USB device driver installation successfully.
I would appreciate it very very much if someone could help me solve this annoying problem.
Thanks in advance.
Chris

asus zenfone2 ze551ml driver issue.

HI,
I am trying to root and installing TWRP in my device but it seems that drivers are not properly installed in My PC .
Everytime I have to restart zenfone just so that PC will detect and connect to the phone. But it is painful task as everytime for detecting and connecting process I have to restart my device. Phone should connect immediately when connected to PC.
So I am trying to uninstall all drivers from PC but again drivers are not getting fully uninstalled. ( I have tried uninstalling from Device Manager but that didn't help too, Using windows 8.1. ) .
Is there any way to uninstall all drivers of Asus zenfone 2 ze551 ml from PC manually So that next time PC will detect freshly detect new device and download and install drivers.
Also there is an observation. Whenever i reboot my phone while attaching it to the PC/Laptop drivers are getting installed/detected by PC/laptop. But when phone it switched on then no luck. Also while phone in on and you try to connect to PC/laptop then also it wont connect.
Need some help with this one.
