After installing a few of the tweaks from the tweaks thread, installing the programs I want, and installing zoomer, my opera's multitouch no longer works!!
I've tried to change the settings in the zoomer program but to no avail.
Really annoyed and REALLY don't wanna have to hard reset my HD2... please help me!

Same thing happened to me mate. (It was after I tried the Opera 10 beta, but I don't know for sure that that was the cause of the problem).
Zooomer only activates the system style zooming, as opposed to what you're expecting in Opera (it makes the whole window zoom in and out, not just the page.) Besides, that apparently only works for apps that aren't installed as part of the core.
Sorry to not offer any help that you're gonna wanna hear, but I did do a hard reset to fix the problem, and I couldn't find any other way round it.
Hope you do though.

You are really very helpful.
unfortunately, the only way i found to solve this problem was to hard reset the device.
Maybe a hard reset to sort your problem ?
In a few days HTC will come out with an update rom. You will have to
install in anyway like hard reset. So what is the problem?

i have find the solution ,you have change the settings of opera ,go to option in the navigator the ,turn off the mobile view,and then enjoy

I tried installing one theme (transferred files to /windows) and didn't like it then I couldn't get back to my original sprint theme and so I installed another one (cab).
How can I clear all this crap out and just go back to my original factory theme? I shouldn't have messed with this stuff in the first place!

hard reset will bring youre phone back to original manilla.
but you will also loose al youre contacts and other apps and tweaks.
That's fine as long as I can get outta this mess!

1) you may tray with tf3d config, there is an item "restore theme" which worked for me. remember to disable tf3d from today first or
2) you may download original black theme and install it. remember to disable tf3d from todat first

You can use TF3D config or hard reset.
hard reset: Start > Settings > System > clear storage, enter 1234 and it will hard reset your system.

Someone who is knowledgeable in adding themes and changing TF3D skins should really make a tutorial and have it stickied. It takes way too much time to read and then downloading countless programs that you come to find out you don't even need. It's really a mess. I'm surprised this forum doesn't already have a sticky for that, we have everything else you could ask for.

Its not that hard dude.
All members in the forum went through the testing and failure method.
I myself reseted my device at least 20 times, in the quest for the perfect jewel.
Im guessing you havent flashed ROMS??
Well if you start flashing start getting used to reseting the device very often.

Nah man, haven't flashed my rom yet...I don't even know how to see what rom I have. The funny thing is that I'm not some noob who doesn't know how to do stuff like this, usually I catch onto this stuff easily but with so much info and downloads on this forum it's easy to get confused.
Once I figure out everything hopefully I'll be able to make a thread for others!

I have done the soft reset, still same issue. have not done a hard reset because all my programs will be gone
i am using ROM version 1.18.723.3 WWE
I had many added extra Apps.
Previously the Menus are working, but it been a while that i click on it until today and realise it cannot be open.
Anyone able to tell me how to get the Menus back without a hard reset?

today i was clearing up my phone with a hard reset with B2btweak and Hd2tweak installed. but after the hard reset i installed back this 2 .cab. and did the tweak setting follow by a soft reset and IT Crash.! b4 my 1st hard reset its workign fine on my device . does anyone knows what actually causes the crash? thanks in advance~
It might help to have more details, what did you tweak?
Why do you have both tweak programs installed?
What ROM version are you using?

You've been very vague in your question, so I can only be equally vague in my answer. What caused the crash? One of the tweaks that you used.
BsB Tweaks is not known to cause problems, but I've read that HD2Tweak has caused problems for some users, even to the point where they need to hard reset.
Do a hard reset and go through the tweaks that you want, 1 by 1, doing a soft reset and making sure that everything's okay after each one. That's the only way to find out what caused the problem.
yup i guess thats the only way to know wat actually causes the problem by trying out 1 by 1.

to any1 that just/or keen to install HD2tweak don change anything at section 18
Hello kinda new to the HTC world. But wanted to ask for a lil help on my issue. I installed DINIK Anastasia - Clock - Tab 2.0 im using a stock rom. Now htc sense wont load up any idea? did a soft reset took out the battery uninstalled DINIK Anastasia - Clock - Tab 2.0 and soft reset again still no luck. i was just being a noob and downloading wat ever nice file i see and installing it with out reading the requierments =( sorry ....ty in advance for the help
The easiest answer is just to hard reset your device. Sure, it wipes everything out on your phone and reverts it back to how it was when you first turned it on, but it's an easy fix for when you break something major.

I don't know of any reason why that cab wouldn't be comptible with your phone, or wouldn't uninstall properly. Does it still show up in your remove programs list?

Nope it does not show on the program list , i uninstalled then did a soft reset but still my contacts still show that the cab is still installed on my phone. How do i revert my phone back to factory settings?

lol I'm not entirely sure what that means...but as long as you got it working one way or another it's all good
I've recently installed the latest Energy rom on my HD2 but the default keyboard is looking a bit strange, the bottom row of keys seems to have shifted upwards.
Has anyone else experienced this or know how to fix it?
Also, on the second screenshot, I've noticed that the menus have changed but there is no mention in the changelog on the website. Is this normal or have I changed a setting somewhere?

hhmm did you hard reset after flashing?? and the menu can be changed in hd2 tweak maybe bsb tweaks also im not sure. its something about using windows menu's i think its system menus in bsb tweaks mate, that should change it

No, I just flashed it and reintroduced my propgrams/backups.
Will it be worth trying again and hard resetting it?

Oh ok, cool! How does it make a difference? I would have thought that a flash was as good as a hard reset, is it not a format/clean install?

I beg to disagree & BTW, that doesn't even make sense! The "flash" that you mentioned is already starting off of a "clean base". You DONT need to hard reset after a flash. Flashing in itself is like Hard Resetting.
The problem you are facing could be because of one of 2 things
1) Your backup has registry / program files that are replacing newer files from the rom. If you normally make use of automatic restoration by means of SDConfig.txt or XDA_UC, try not using it this time while Hard Resetting and see if the problem persists. The easiest way to do that is by popping your card out.
2) Occasionaly something goes wrong when chefs are 'baking' their roms, so to speak and they might end up putting out bad roms with problems. This could be a result of that.
i'm on the same problem after HR and updated settingd from XDA_UC.
before was great so this is probably after update.
After a hard reset, I installed all my cabs indiviually and worked out that it was the cab that add extra currency symbols to the main keyboard that was causing this. I'd found it from the Leo Hints & Tips thread. I uninstalled it and is reverted back to normal.
50. Enable All Currency Symbols from Main Keyboard
If you want to input the Euro, Yen or Pound symbol, you have to tap on the '12#' key and then go to page 2. A bit cumbersome. Now you can have access to all of the currency symbols just by pressing and holding the 'f' key and then drag to choose the symbol you want. Install cab below to device main memory only.
