Pushing buttons in call problem - HD2 General

Hi, every time i call somebody or they call me my face touches the screen and either hangs up the call or activates speakerphone. I was wondering if maybe the sensors aren't working correctly or if there is a way to enable them.
thanks in advance zac
really need to sort this out as its my only problem with the leo.

Some oddities...

Hi there,
I have a few small questions...
I was trying to help someone the other day with this problem on their HTC Touch HD, but I had the same problem also.
When setting the End Key to lock the handset, its not actually locking it.
Any ideas? The end key works to disconnect open connections, but not to lock?
Also, when someone phones me, with a custom ringtone set on my Phone, it rings once, then doesn't continue ringing, just stops but the person calling remains calling.
Can this be fixed in anyway?
Thank you,

Having problems when talking

When I answer a call I think I might be muting the call, I can hear them but they can't hear me.
Can I lock the screen, anyone else have this issue?
It happens often!
Thanks

Click to collapse
Regarding locking the screen, there are two applications, 'Proximity Sensor' and 'Call Caddy'. The first uses the light sensor to simulate the proximity sensor the Hero doesn't have, the second uses the accelerometer to lock the screen when ever the phone is upright (like it would be if it were at your ear).
I found 'Proximity Sensor' to be crashy. 'Call Caddy' works pretty well.
well
Thanks I'll try Call Caddy.
I have Call Light now but still having problems

Screen wakes up when outgoing call is connected

Ok, this is really annoying:
Every time I make a call, the screen turns of when I place the phone to my ear. However, when the person I call answers, the screen wakes up again. I have repeatedly managed to end call, turn on speaker etc. using my cheek. The only solution Ive found is to remove the phone from my ear for a while and then bring it back. The screen then turns of for the duration of the call. The only problem is that its really annoying and that I cant here whatever the other person is saying for a couple of seconds.
So, does anyone know of a better solution?
I have the same problem. Any advice will be greatly appreciated.
I did a hard reset and though I have not installed alla software back I use TouchLockPro and it does not wake up anymore when call is connected.

Call problems. Disappearing sound in mid call. PLEASE HELP.

I'm really sorry about opening a new thread, but i really need your help on this one. I don't know what it might be, I tried to search the forum for similar problems, but couldn't find nothing.
So the thing is the sound just disappears in mid call as for me and for the other end to, than it comes back, than it disappears again, and so on for the rest of the conversation. And, as you all would guess, that is very annoying.
My guess: Maybe something with the proximity sensor?
If someone experienced this and already found a fix for this, I would really appreciate the feedback.
Thanks in advance.
Proximity Sensor disables wlan
i have the same problem.
within speaker mode i can hear the melody from my PBX but moving the phone to my head or placing a finger above the sensors reduces or holds my wireless connection so i cant hear anything.
how can this behavior be changed. i want the sensor to dim the display and to lock the screen.
