Hi,
only 900 and 2100 Mhz are listed in the technical details sheet of htc as possible 3g frequencies. However, I can not choose 900 Mhz but only 800, 850,1900 and 2100 Mhz. Could somebody confirm this and maybe check 3g in the usa?
Regards,
km
My HD2 is compatible with the Network Bands:
HSPA/WCDMA/UMTS: 900/2100 MHz
GSM: 850/900/1800/1900 MHz
My Mobile Operator works only on:HSPA/WCDMA/UMTS: 850/2100 MHz with no GSM bands. The HSPA/WCDMA/UMTS 850 MHz has a better cover and is missing in my HD2. So I'm left only with the weak HSPA/WCDMA/UMTS 2100 MHz, wich sometimes is not enough.
There is any way to add the possibility to work also on the HSPA/WCDMA/UMTS 850 MHz?
I heard than there is a version of the HD2 in Telstra company in Australia which includes the HSPA/WCDMA/UMTS 850 and 2100.
No, you must buy the Telstra version if you want 850. Sorry for the bad news.
Yes, the only way to add a band is to buy a new phone, at least in this case.
Is it a Hardware matter?
Yes.

hey,
im thinking about buying a t-mobile version of the G2 in the us.
but i thiunk its on the 1700 MHz. or is it also on the 2100MHz ?
because in germany i am on the eplus network and i dont know exactly on what band it is!
anyone having experience with that?
am i able to use the t-mobile g2 on the germany eplus 3G network?
thanks for your help
u should find some info about ur network's bands... if u cant , call them ... im with vodafone europ with tmous hd2 and its working fine with the 2100mhz 3g
Coming from the US, T-mobile has 1700/2100 mhz bands. I believe that means they use both
okay thanks,
i figured out that eplus has 2100 MHz and the phone im thinking about buying should have 1700 / 2100 MHz. so i guess itll work
thanks again!
Here's more footage on that:

The phone will definitely work in all GSM bands (Quadband) and the UMTS/3g Band 1700 MHz and 2100 MHz according to various internet sources.
How can i Change my 3G frequency band from 1900 MHz to 2100 MHz on HTC Inspire 4G, cant seem to be able to get 3G here in Nigeria because of the 1900 MHz except if i am able to get it up to 2100 MHz........Is there anyway this is possible or is it a hardware issue
Inspire doesnt have 2100mhz bands.
Hi everyone,
I'm planning on purchasing the HTC One S, I've been comparing some of the specs on the handset with other phones around the same price range and under the Network section, I can see that majority of phones have 1900MHz support under the 3G section or HSPA/WCDMA (Europe), the HTC One S does not.
I'm based in London, UK. Will I have any problems, how will this effect me? Does this mean the 3G network signal will be weaker than other phones?
HTC One X
HSPA/WCDMA - Europe/Asia: 850/900/1900/2100 MHz
GSM/GPRS/EDGE: 850/900/1800/1900 MHz
HTC One S
HSPA/WCDMA - Europe/Asia: 850/900/2100 MHz
GSM/GPRS/EDGE: 850/900/1800/1900 MHz
