Hello!
I've just talked to O2 Germany and they confirmed that they will release a software update for the XDA to WM2003 within the next couple of weeks (no confirmed date yet). However, the update will cost €35 and may be downloaded from their website as soon as it has been released.
Greetings,
Christian
T-Mobile will release WM 2003 for MDA for free in the next 1 or 2 weeks
CU Jason0815
The release date for the dutch T-mobile MDA 4 (HTC Universal) will be september 1st.
Confirmed by t-mobile self.

I saw it on the site today, no news yet on prices and dates, only possiblity is filling in a form and you are notified when it goes on sale and is in stock. Also very limited reporting of specs, which we all already know from the different fora. Any word on the Wizard yet? Seems the Qtek version will go on sale in the States on september 3rd, any word on a T-Mobile (Dutch) version and its release date? I fancy the Wizard over the Universal, because that one is really too big for me. I come from using normal GSM's, so the Wizard is about as bulky as I can handle. Bigger than that is a no-go for me, although I am drooling over the specs...
Hi guys,
A chap from Vodafone UK called me last night to get me to go back from O2. I said that i wanted and XDA and he told me that Vodafone are releasing their version of the Universal at the start of September.
He seemed to be very confident of this!
Starting to look like the neworks will all be aiming for a September 1st release!
Has anyone got a confirmed release date for this yet, its on the o2 systems but no price or release date?
Just had a chat with an o2 rep and he told me that o2's rolling out Froyo on Monday the 15th.
I live in germany and was able to update to froyo last weekend. but i saw that my phone that i bought from O2 seems to be a debitel brand.
Product Code: GT-I9000HKDDBT
Is I9000 [Germany](Debitel) according to that list: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=810232
