There are some good TP guides here : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=521632, hilareg has a few guides, search for threads he started and links to.
Also, see the wiki, the info is there, you just have to find it
Dave

thanks so much, i havent had a chance to look over it too much but it looks like that is all the info i need

New htc cube in touch dual

Hi, guys!
How can I install new touch cube in my device?
I try to install FTOUCHflo but it doesn't install it.
Oh! It is very simple, just click on SEARCH and then start reading.
Already done.
No results
The SCLPF cube is not an exact copy (in some ways it is better) or you can use Kona's cube, both are in this forum.

You allready read the whole 76 pages of this thread?
And you still don't know how to install it?
Well I would suggest you to send your device to efrost, and donate 100 bucks, I'm sure he would be able to find a way to put it on your device...
If not I suggest you read the whole thread, read the instructions, and if you got questions, asked in that thread itselfs...
Good Luck
I was told to download SDKcert (.cab) to confirm the missing certificates that prevented the installation on my dual touch.
I used the "SEARCH" of the forum, then the research, advanced research in a single post and then google but have found NOTHING download.
So kindly tell me where someone could possibly get it without having to read 76 pages to find it?
Thanks.
get the sdkcert at www.cinetsystems.com/xda
u can also use msigner

All three of these refer to the same thing.
First you need to learn how to flash a ROM (do a search).
Next, flash a custom Manila2d ROM
Next, download some themes (skins)
Next, use m2dc customizer to install the themes.
There are threads in xda which explain in great detail how to do all this, just use the search facility.
Good luck,
Mattster.
some examples
is there a different types of themes for different roms or the wm6.1 parameter for search is ok?
dont know how to be positiv that i am downloading the right thing
can p3600 stand tuchflou (rotating box meny)?
I AM REEDiNG AND HOPE ILL LEARN SOMETHING....THANKS FOR HEALPING

The 6.1 ROMs work fine on all Trinities. That is why they are in the Trinity section of the forum. Some download versions are specific for the p3600i. The first post of any ROM thread will indicate everything you need to know. Some have Manila2d (skinnable), some have FtouchFlo (finger gestures to scroll screen), some have both.
Mattster.
ok
ok thanks!
and for the last am I going to heve tis in new rom or need to download it?
and what intresting rom you are suggesting to me?

Just read through the latest ROMS, see what they have, read the comments, then choose one you like.
Just make sure you follow the important steps on how to flash.
There is a useful step by step guide at this link. Follow it word for word in the order it says and you should be able to get it done. Remember to start at the beginning. If you have nothing important on your current device to back up, then you can start at STEP 2: "Upgrade to Hard SPL"

Best of luck,
Mattster.
p.s. Moderators do not approve of newcomers starting new threads on information that is already out there. If you have specific problems, look for an answer in the search button, or ask them here in in Trinity Upgrading:

Thanks allot
FROM NEXT WEEKK I AM GOING TO ACTION
till then I ma going to lear and reed as nutch as possible....thanks

All a bit confusing...

I have just gone from Windows Mobile (HTC), and are now using Androide on my new HTC Hero, looks very cool, but it’s also very different  I have been trying to figure out how to install new ROM’s to the Hero, but I just can’t find any good descriptions on how this is done. Maybe it’s because I need to get it from scratch as I have no idea.
My Hero came with the latest firmware, was it 2.73… after what I have been able to find out there seems to be some problems flashing this right now?
Basically what I’m asking is, what’s the best place for me to start to learn my new device.
Please read the Sticky threads where you will find almost all information.
We all start somewhere so first thing to do is to be more familiarised with Android OS. After that I am sure you will travel RootWays which I think is still a one way journey for many!
here are some video tutorials. rooting, flashing, installing drivers and themes... everything U need

[Q] What do i need to cook a rom?

Hello,
i wondered wether i need to be a computer genius to cook my own rom. On all the roms you get tons of apps, and I want to make one with as good as no extra apps (just some basic ones like youtube and opera). I downloaded the ervius kitchen, but what do i need to start? Do i have to download a sort of 'master rom' in which you can disable things you dont want?
Thanks in advance,
Kapie
Im watching the youtube tutorial by lion75y, and i need the stock rom. I bought my device second handed, and i am not able to download it from the HTC homepage. Is the blackstone stock rom available somewhere else? I've searched around on the forums, but i couldnt find it...

To be honest mate there is plenty of guides or kitchens to help you. Try typing in "kitchen" or "cooking" into the search and see what threads appear
Also, this may be a good place to start

now i've updated the windows build in my ervius kitchen, but where can i find the manila (2.5) files? ive been searching and i only found a thread with information about them, but not the actual files. I am looking for this one:
2.5.2018 Rodhium Manila 2.5
I found it on this thread:

Help please!

So I've been searching all day trying to figure this out. I'm pretty sure I got my HD2 rooted (everything did as it was supposed to, but don't remember it rebooting, although it probably did). The problem I'm having is I want to load an Android ROM, but it's so confusing? I managed to get my G2 rooted and flashed multiple ROMs on it, but this is a lot different, and every time I google how to install them, it'll give me the Android ROMs, but no instructions? I found one I'd like to use (really I don't care which one it is as long as I have Android Market), but I'm seriously lost as how to flash it. I've been searching all day, and I know you guys hate posts like this, but I'm in serious need guys. Any help will be appreciated.
Also, the G2 ROM was flashed through ClockworkMod in recovery. I can get instructions on how to flash other ROMs, but it says nothing about Android ROMs.. I just want to be able to enjoy my phone!
there are stickies on how to do this
download this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1090783
install magldr then install CWM
download the zip file you want to install fromthe dev section and reboot intot he CWM menu and isntall
Thanks bro. I'm going to try it now and see if it works!
if i may...
the link given to you is a sticky in the hd nand section. pretty obvious to see if you open that forum, imo.
in all seriousness - what kept you from finding it? was it hard to find? did you not see the forum? were you nervous to try and use it? why did you feel the need to ask a how to question before trying something out?
i ask as your question is asked countless times and i am curious what xda can do better to get people information that is readily available. i am not trying to be snarky, rather learn from you as what we can do better.
thanks.

Agreed.
I too am curious as to why people either dont look first or just cant be bothered because that is what it seems like to me.
I just cant understand why people make topics like this when there is plenty of guides and sticky on exactly how to do it, It just seems a never ending circle of n00bs asking "how do I install android" and then people linking to the sticky/guide topics over and over.
Its even more surprising because these new users are given a video to watch as soon as the join up very clearly telling them to use search and read sticky/guide topics first.
