Hi there, is this possible? To get the old dropdown menu back when you press "start" at the upper left corner? I searched but only found for wm6.5

My bad - I was thinking HD2 = 6.5.1
Anyway it's not working on mine - language thing I guess - or maybe it conflicts with spbms 3.5 (it hangs -the app not spb). I'll jump to the thread itself
I was wondering if the attached cab wil work. cant remember where i found it now. I'm getting my leo tomorrow so ill try it out then.
I realy do dispise WM6.5 honycomb start menu.

hi everybody, i installed my mobiler (so i can control my hd2 from my pc) and since then my sense main screen 'moved up' (hard to explain..look at pics).
i can see in the bottom right the my mobiler icon..but even if i disable it and softreset..well the screen is still miss-aligned (the icon is not there anymore).
my guess is that even other programs that have this type of icon would cause the same thing..
anybody experienced this b4? any help

Yeah, MyMobiler shows down there but only when you have the standard wm 6.1 plugin home screen. It shouldn't appear there while sense is activated. I have it installed also and it doesn't show up. Try disabling sense and enable it back and see what happens.
yup..i already tried uninstalling..disabling and deleting reg and then restart phone and/or sense...it stays the same .. pls help...i dont wanna hard reset again...just got everything working as i wanted...
oh..and by the way, de unde ai gasit un hd2 in rom?
i had the same problem just after the install of e-Natives Showcase
i don't know if is this program to create the issue but just after i removed it the phone went back to normal.
Just a thought, but in
start - settings - all settings - today - items
is there anything more than just HTC sense ticked? Could be that it is trying to show the app, and then show the senseui which is then trying to stack.

having this problem too, created a thread on it already http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=618299 but i just found this one now
guess i will remove the showcase app and see what happens
as for your suggestion, good idea, but nope nothing else is checked for me.

i search for a long time for the Taskmanager Icon at the homescreen. This Icon in the right up corner. I'll not found it. When i install the Taskmanager Showcase it changes this Icon. Also, it can changed. Where is this Icon. Does anybody know where is it?

The english is fine, better than my Deutsch!
It depends on your ROM version. The stock ROM has an HTC icon, sort of a downwards arrow, that shows up only on the Today screen. It is controlled by the stock WM task manager icon in the Settings / System screen. Hope this helps.
BTW, I use Arkswitch, and it is really nice - although it is not really optimum of you are using WM 6.5. It works best on WM 6.5.x.

What do you mean whit controlled by WM Tm in Settings? Must i look in files for this manager? I've thinked its in a dll, or maybe in Png file. I've found one png but after i changed it nothing happens. For what do you use Arkswitch? and i use a EPS Rom whit 6.5. We talk from the same Icon? These three ugly white Stripes whit an littel arow up or downwards.

My Energy ROM does not have the default WM Task Manager in the Settings / System area, so I cannot use the icon of which you are speaking.
Arkswitch is a task switcher. It sets up an area of the screen that you touch to control the tasks. On the WM 6.5.x, the start menu is on the bottom left. On the earlier versions, the start button is on the upper left, which makes Arkswitch a bit more difficult - the activation area defaults to the upper left area of the task bar.
Yes, that is the icon indicator that HTC puts up on the home page only. If clicked, it shows all running programs, plus has three icons at the top, I don't recall what they do - one of them was battery, I think. If your version of WM supports it, you can control it via the Settings / System / Task Manager icon - assuming that the program you installed did not change this icon in some fashion.
I am not to sure what your asking for but here is a cab that will install that task manager. Install to your device and then soft reset. It will put that task manager with that icon in the upper right corner. I hope this helps you.

i guess he simply don´t like that icon for the taskmanger. It seems all he want to do is to exchange that icon with a more suitable icon.
And because he don´t know where the picture information is stored (maybe in a dll-file or an exe.file) he asks for help.

Ok so owned my HD2 for 3 months now and just made the transformation to energy rom maxsense 21907 on my 1024 us leo.
I loaded up my phone and heres my problem.
There is a text message already in there and if I go in and swipe it to the left I don't have anymore today screen. I can hit windows button on my phone to bring up my stuff but nothing on the screen works after that until I hit the windows button.
Any advice?

Ok so I just got home from work and I saw in the energy thread that someone else is getting it.
It's a text message preinstalled into the phone from William Archbell it is an mms and if you try to click it from the alert window it'll bring it up and if you swipe to the left or click on it it freezes. If you restart sense things work fine but still can't get into it the message.

If you search the original thread for this ROM you will find a fix.
The thing is. I did search and the fix that I found didn't work. Unless I grabbed the wrong fix. Could you guide me to the right cab or fix as an attachement to make sure I got the right fix. I did the mms fix but I don't know I can't seem to find any other fixes.
I tried both the energy rom threads from in tmobile usa and in the regular hd2 rom dev.
same here , i have that problem when i open the outlook and then no more home screen.

on demand of some users i am trying to port the version i make to a 6.5.x rom
all seems to be going tnice except on thing
when i go to start>settings>sounds¬ifications>notificatios
you can chooseringtones for different events
when i want to change it for new message i get a scroll bar at the side as there are more options for a new messgae then for a call
when i want to select a ringtone for a text message i cant scroll that list but the background is being scrolled
if i tap and hold a little i can scroll the ringtone list:-o
i know it has to be added to the exceptions list of touchflo but i cant seem to find wich command
i attached a pic to show the part where im at and i have the problem
hope some one can help me out with this problem

edit: i might say as additionel info that when i leave out the touchflo package i loose the abbility to use the hardware butons on my blackstone(i do have the button settign of a original blackstone rom)

Only 1 idea: you should use the original HTC COM3 theme. I have never had the problem that you are describing...

you mean i should look ofr a com 3 theme and replace it in my operatorpkg in oem?
that way i need two kitchens one for 21 serie and one for 23 serie:S
guess i have a weird problem
hi all. after installing turkish language cab, my start menu lock icon seems like start button icon. it happens only wm6.5.x roms. doesnt happen wm6.5 roms.
is there any way to change it via registy or something else?

no. thats the way 6.5.x is. if you want start button up, install 6.5... the performance is basically the same(not a fact, i just think so)...
actually it wasnt that i asked. i just get back to wm6.5. thanks anyway.
