Hey. I'm looking for the stock htc sense 2.1 lockscreen, cause i'm on GalaxySense and it has sense 3.0 lockscreen .. i dont like it and i wanna have the slide down one from sense 2.1.

download a froyo-sense rom and grab the lockscreen.apk?
How can this apk be flushed in an already installed ROM? I suppose that the apk cannot be flashed in recovery

If using ClockWorkMod, try mounting /system/ in recovery. I've no tried, but Root Explorer might be able to replace it also.

If you would just READ the threads here you'll find the answers
Anyway, just so you won't say I posted for nothing:
- Froyo themes: flash the theme via recovery (I won't answer if you ask what a custom recovery is); ROM must be deodexed.
- CyanogenMod themes: install it like a regular .apk and select it from Theme Chooser
I'm currently running Mik3.1, which is Sense 2.1, and has the Lock Ring on the lock screen. I've seen the skins for Sense 3.0 that change the Lock Ring, but can't seem to find any for Sense 2.1. Is there a way to create one, or does someone have a skin that changes the Lock Ring for Sense 2.1?

None of those are skins, those are all flashable files to change the ring

I had already reviewed that thread, but none of the skins i tried from that thread changed the lockscreen ring.
What i'm trying to find is a guide to create a skin that also changes the lockscreen ring for 2.1, or an already existing skin (so i can use as my base) for 2.1 that changes the lockscreen ring.

Oh i'm soo sorry,my mistake,geez no appreciation.
Sense 2.1 does not use skins in the way that Sense 3.0 does. On Sense 3.0 you can download skin apks that you install with market, but system apks on Sense 2.1 cannot be installed this way. You have to flash zip files to change most visuals, including lock rings.

BUT if you go here you'll find lots of great themes and mods in addition to diablo's links (which you have to flash through recovery).

If you want to make your own mods (which you will still have to flash through recovery), then you will need to search for instructions on how to use APKTOOL. Basically, you use unzip the zip file, then use APKTOOL to unpack the apk, then go in and change your images, then use APKTOOL to repack, then zip and sign your zip file (search for "testsign").
EDIT: OOOPS, Sense 2.1 does support skins the way you mention. I don't think you can change the lock ring with a skin, though. It's in a different system apk than the stuff the skins affect.
I have installable skin apks for sense 2.1, which don't need flashed. As far as I can tell, it changes everything that sense 3.0 skins can change, with the exception of lock screen material, like the ring. guess ill just have to stick with flashing for the lock ring edits, and the installable skins for everything else. oh well

Look for dark Horse synergy, evozone blue, evozone Sanace those will change your lock rings for sure.

I have installed the rom from Pixeldroid (super fast - super good)
I choose the Apex launcher but now i want to install the Pro version but i can´t uninstall the original version even if i install a different lanucher and set the new as the "standard launcher"
Is it not possible to uninstall ???

are you buying the pro version ? if so its only a 33k unlocker ..you buy it and it downloads and installs and then your regular apex is turned into the pro version

I'm not sure, but you may be able to remove it from /system/app/ with root access.

Like Marvlesz said, you need root access and you can delete it. But why bother? Install Home Manager and you can switch among multiple launchers any time.

Is it possible to mix-and-match components from different themes? For instance I wanted to use the dialer/contacts, calculator and messaging apps from one theme with another theme but keep the other themed UI components from the second theme. Both themes work on my current rom/kernel setup.
Can I just overwrite the files in the second theme with the stuff I wanted to keep from the first theme? If so, what files would I need?
