Looking to flash my rom to get the sense UI.
Just want to check if I need the 1.5SDK to flash or can I use the latest SDK from developer.android.com??

I had the occasion to watch a video showing the new Touchflo running on a Touch HD (the one with built-in calendar and new contacts screens).
Is this version available for download and install ?

You can just flash a rom, which contains this new version. Look in the ROM development forum in order to get more information.

So I guess there is no "standalone" installation for this TF3D version, so I can just replace the current one without flashing ?
That would be the ideal for those who prefer the new 1.56 official rom! (including me)
I find the new rom perfect for my needs but i would also like to use the new manilla!

Duttys Xtreme v3 ROM is both of those things.

What rom version do you have? Which hotfixes are you trying to install? some of the hotfixes aren't needed with the latest stock rom.
noone of the hotfxes are working, and have the latest from the website.
is t a way to download a better rom verson also?
Well, with rom version 1.14 I've installed all hotfixes. Now, with 1.56 (the latest official) I didn't install any hotfix!
Do you have any issues which could be solved by one of the hotfixes?

Well, don't get me wrong, but try to use the search feature! There are a lot of rules on how to post in forums! Now think about someone searching for answers regarding the installation of hotfixes and one of the hits will be this thread where the discussion changes to uninstalling themes and which rom is best!
Btw, what is 'best'? (rhetorical question!)

Is there a way of getting custom ROMs on the the AVD?
I see that its partially possible using the ROM from HTC (as shown here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=4232807&postcount=9), but I want to create my own using builds from http://developer.htc.com/index.html or some of the ROMs provided here.
This will help me try and develop come code as currently the Android SDK's are missing parts like the Maps applications etc.

I wanna make a rom using the stock rom resources.
So I got myself Ubuntu(kept Windows too) and downloaded dsixda's Android Kitchen. I extracted stock rom and put it into the work folder, deodexed framework and other apps, zipaligned the apps, added few tweaks in the build.prop. Then built the rom and tried to flash it in TWRP recovery. It didnt install. Got the log also: http://pastebin.com/6FSDf4Nv . What is the problem and how to fix it? (I'm a noobish starter and sorry for my horrible english.). Help would be highly appreciated. Thanks!
