sorry if this question has been asked before
but during the screen destruction test video that published today and also in mobile-review's article , we can see dots of screen grids that meant to be invisible but they are actually more than visible. as mobile-review wrote we can see them with naked eyes

if you are lucky enough to have this device already , seeing those dots hurts ?
or is there any hope to not have them with some software tweaks ? ( i dont think so )
cuz the awful part is , they mentioned that sometimes when the screen is on , grids are also visible
Never seen this dots in other review... strange !
If some owners could confirm ?

I'm don't think it is going to be a problem at all and I really don't think it will be really that visible when we use the device daily. Why are u sound so worried about the dots when they are visible in some rare occasions? most HTC phones have them too, I've never ever hear anyone complain about this.
similiar to this:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=576052
@the poster above - why quote the whole thing?!?!!
and yes, you can see the dots when its resisitive screens, this is a capative.
I haven't found an answer to it yet, but dont really care as long I can do my work/watch videos/surf without them being in the way ^^

I am feeling the itch to start working my photoshop skills again...
Before anyone ask about ETA or anything like that:
There is no ETA.
This can take days/weeks/months
Im just curious about the interest for this. It used to be a popular thing, but times change.
Black project means that I want to skin the basic apps like the dialer, comm manager, manila and a few more from the dull (in my eyes) white into a more mysterious (!!!) black
This is just a test I made, it has alot of work, but its a start:

Yeah I agree, looking real smooth
Wou! Rely amazing! I love it! Cant wait to have it.
But that "call" button would be look nice at green. (imo)
Scuse me for asking, but is that just an inverted greyscale image of the Blackstone dialer?
All-around black'n white - I would like
I always try to find "black background and white symbols" no-nonsense themes for all my phones.
Very Very nice! I must have it!
Hahahha. Damn Itje. Shouldn´t you spend some time with me chatting instead of colourizing Apps??

It is NOT unpopular..IT is loved by many...BLACK!!!!!

Niiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiice
Looks great
I'm still sticking to stock atm and learning as much about wm atm. Preparing to port over soon
Nice...I'll definetly have this if you do spend the time (I looked at the images for the dialler myself and there was sooooo many)
I did a quick fix by swapping the buttons around so that the dialer was black (You can get from here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=459260 )
@itje: i will probably join in and reskin some stuff like the sbp-panel similar to your work here. i will start in the next days and maybe we can customize near all aspects of the x1 with a one nice black style/skin (if you dont mind).

Hi all,
I was wondering. I would like to see an unlock screen with 6 (or 9/12) small pictures/icons in random postions. The user can make up a small story so he would know in which order he should slide/swipe to the different pictures to unlock the phone. Also a nice feature would be if the usere could pick the pictures which would be displayed on the lockscreen. The position of the displayed pictures/icons should always be random to ensure security.
Is there something like this out there for android??
Regards, RR69
I think it's too easy and fast to solve. Why not a lockscreen with something like this to solve?

Hello everyone, i have a question which i cant find a real answer . Last night when i was on fb messenger , a strange blue spot appeared in left coner , on curved display. My first thought was i have a display problem because is a new phone and i was worried. I get out from app ( not closed ) , the spot was gone.I came back in app , the spot appeared again . Finally i closed and the spot is gone forever. I am interesed what was that , i search on google and i find can be some notification or something like that , but nothing clear. Well , i am curios what is that drop , if my display has some problems, and how the i can make to appear again . Here a photo wich i found on google similar like my spot , but is was somehow above and was in facebook messenger

It's not a hardware problem if it appears on screenshot, so don't worry about that. Maybe it was a facebook related bug.
I've had this happen to me before. That blue thing is the little handlebar that appears when you highlight text. There's a bug where it'll appear in the corner of your screen for some reason.
It's a Messenger bug! Try to close it & it'll disappear ?
It disappears when you optimize your S7! I want to believe that it's a cute way Android is using to tell us that the device isn't 100% optimized. It kinda looks like a water droplet. Maybe meant to look like a sweat drop? I dunno. But optimizing or restarting the phone will make it go away
I have the same thing and I was not in Facebook at all when it popped up I was in snapchat and it just popped up when I hit the home button its only on the home screen and you can move it maybe a 1/8th inch and it will go back when you finger is no longer touching the screen I'm on 7.0 and its a at&t galaxy s7 not the edge the normal one

Green glow, only shows on black or dark screens. Tested with a burn check app for this picture. I toggled all screen options on and off in various configurations, including all the adpative stuff and Soli. No changes. When I press the screen, a normal press anywhere, the glow will change slightly. I'm approved for an RMA, but I'm wondering if anyone else can see this before I do that.
I used night sight for the picture, so the green glow is more pronounced than with the naked eye.
Have not noticed this on mine.
Where did your purchase it from? Hopefully the exchange is smooth!

Purchased from Google. Already approved for an RMA, just don't want to do that if it's widespread, or if it's not a real issue (is not consistently glowing, sometimes it's there, sometimes not).

Yeah send it back.
The one and only place I've seen anything remotely close is the YouTube music app. Screenshot brightened to enhance glow....
That's intended, though. To show you when the radar is looking for gestures.

Right, at first I thought that's what my glow was, Soli being active. It's in the same exact location, which would make suspicious it has something to do with the Soli light. Thanks for the help all

Just disable motion sense, launch spotify or youtube music and check if the glow still shows on top of the screen. If not, then it's for sure the indication of soli radar checking for movement. However it should not be green...
