i have an O2 XDA II mini, my problem is that the battery suddenly drains and could not reach in 1 hour, what do you thinks seems to be the problem with that.?
i've tried to modify the battery pack, i remove the cell and replace it with the cell from a nokia BL5c battery, it turn on and charging is ok, but still it suddenly drains.
im planning to change the back-up battery inside the unit but i haven't seen yet of that same battery type.
pls. give me some idea, i want to stay it on even for only 5 hours, pls. pls. pls.

it can't solve ur problem because bl5c has less mAh ,where u need at least 1800 mAh battery u can get it from baba hall situated at gaffar market ,karol bag new delhi if u won't get orignal then u can also use model no PM 16 A which is easily available .
put ur back up battery out & put inside lukewarm water for ten minutes it may work well
do it on ur own risk

got this msg yesterday after i soft reset my device that my backup battery is very very low i went 2 power in settings and it showed main battery at 90% and backup battery NONE i did hard reset did new rom 1.13 but the prob was still there.....

i have checked my battery on ma friends magician so it definitely not a battery prob so any body plz help me caz my phone is hard resseting eaach time battery is low
when i tap my magicians back cover it appears and says tht it is at 100% might be something in holder caz my battery is alright.....i dont know where 2 press and backup battery appears...any one give any suggestions .........
i have contacted my dealers and they told me that backup battery is in phone not in the battery.....can be a software problem...any body help...........my battery is alright
I think there's something wrong with ur backup battery 'cause it's a NiMH one like the normal button battery which quite different from the main batt.U'd better sent it to the shop u bought it from.

i bought a used spv m 5000, after a week the battery dead , i bought a new battery with 5200 MAH ,and other one with 1600 MAH, the big battery discharging completly in standby after aproxemativly 24 hours ,and the small one maximum 10 hours, this happen without to use the phone at all just standby mode, first i thought that it is a rom problem , i changed meney roms ,i taked off the memory card ,the same problem.
can anybody help me ? ,or to tell me normaly the battery of the universal how meny hours stay in standby mode ?, i observed that it i use it ar in standby mode the battery need aproxemativly the same time to discharge.

i have bought htc p3400i wm6 two days back.
vanilla no extra softwares and i am on roaming.
no wifi, no bluetooth, no gprs or internet enabled but found battery drains so fast.
i've seen battery draining at rate of 5% every 10 minutes.
can anyone guide me how to tune battery so that it runs for longer ?
Found no fone calls in 4 hours and battery drained 70%

The battery might be a used one.......
Exchange the battery from the showroom........
the battery was sealed pack in box when it came.
right now i select manual network selection and i think battery running okay against that super fast drain on auto network selection.

u should use the standby button on the top left corner of the phone when u r not using ur cell..i have d same model..m able to stand for 2 full days without charging and ya ofcourse on standby with a regular use of it...

after that automatic window install itself
after install windows u use the phone and calculate the performence of battery.
it may b your charger can b faulty.
one time u charge your phone help of usb.
an then chack the battery status.

I had the same battery problem (fully charged battery, no data or phone calls, quickly drained battery). I discovered that I had a calendar item that would not sync, so ActiveSync just kept trying to sync it over and over, which is what drained the battery. To check, open ActiveSync, select MENU>STATUS and check for any error. If so, delete the bad item (contact, calendar entry, notes, or whatever it is).

Dear All i am new on this forum but i love the answers from all people here , today i register my self and ask the issue of my own set , yesterday i bought HTC velocity used set from Local market , i simply checked evrything there with HTC code, and run all test , just the cell was not charged so guy put in on charge and show me the charging that its charging and i pay him took the cell .. but when i came home , i charged it all night and it completed finally after 7 8 hours , but i observe the battery is going down quickly after some mins and i can see the dropping % while using it . hardly in 2 to 3 hours the whole battery gets till end .
i went back him and told him he said its battery issue and will give me another battery tomorrow . i show this set to one another guy in market he said its short circuit from inside 5% approx thats why no other battery will also work . all batteries will behave same . but the Shop guy from whom i bought said its battery problem i will give u another.
so now i am confused what is Right . let me tell u some points i face. when i close set and open back . the battery goes up like 10% and then again it comes down after some mins . what is this issue? is it Cell hardware issue or battery issue??
Andriod Asssitant App sometimes show Battery portion whole red , instead the battery is charged . and sometimes it shows proper Green Portion with Red.. why it stucks on battery portion only???
other Problem , i Swtich off Auto Sync , Brightness , and all other things which eat battery btu behavior is still same ! No Difference , the Battery % goes down every min or 2 min without any use.
yesterday night the battery Eat 45% wwhole night on Stand by . pelase Suggest what should i do???? is it hardware fault? or battery Fault?
