How do i upgrade manila?? change my clock appearance to Transparent and where do i get "CFC UGI" also the registry editor app !!!
wat is rom n wat can i do wid dat??

hello, and congratz on your new rhodium.
first of all you can just search the forums, there are a lot of updates and programs created by excellent people here for the clock.
about ROM, this is basically your operating software i.e. the windows mobile you are running.(simply and best way i - still new to this as well, can describe it)
you can flash (upgrade) your ROM to any stock (from htc) ROM's available (now WM6.5) or to any one you can find here under ROM developement forum (highly recommanded - much better then the htc ones usually).

Hi all,
just saw some vdoz in utube reg WM6.5..wow, I really liked its today screen and most importantly the honeycomb style program list. Is this available for Elfin??
I have as of now installed the Onyx ROM..is it worth giving it a try(installing WM6.5)
U can get more info abt my elfin frm my siggie..please provide me the link frm wher I can update my Elfin WM6.1 to 6.5.

Wow no response yet. Look in the Elfin Rom Section. It's the same place where the Onyx Rom is. I'm currently running his newest 6.5 Rom and love it.

^^thnx for ur reply..I too saw his post..but in the screenshots he has attached, I culdn see the honeycomb style programs list..i thought he has changed it..tht is the reason I was trying to get a link to just update my Windows to 6.5 without any modifications..is it available anywhr?

I beleive a few months ago there was one by Letva (I think) Anyways it is still in honey comb form..... but it's not outlined that way. Not sure if Onyx did that but the newest ROM is supposedly an official version. I think. Don't take my word for it though. I like it better without the honeycombe outline. Makes things less cluttered.

What do you mean update? Do you mean like when official WM6.5 comes out. No... Only select devices will be suported but even then you have to flash the ROM. So you will lose everything you don't back up.
I'm no expert but flashing it is the only way. You can't just install a CAB. If it were that easy I'm sure it would have been done. Anywho just search..... I bet that's why nobody else is answering.

actually the cube is touch flo cube which comes with htc touch(p3450)
and ya u can install the clone of that cube on ur gene but u hav to install adobe flashlight also!
it just is a decoration tool!

hi i have a xda orbit with WM 6 pro,
my question is i would like to install touch flow, is it a add on for my wm, can i uninstall it if i dont like it and can someone give me a link to download it.
i have been searching the forum for 30mins and i cant find what im looking for.
and do i need to cid to install it.
also is there cube add on for the windows im running and how do i install and find it.
i dont want to flash a whole new rom.

Hi,
in my experience I've only seen ROMs with or without Touchflo but never Touchflo nor cubes in standalone packs..but I might be wrong (happens often ). A very personal opinion: those gadgets may look cool in a screenshot but make Artemis quite unusable because our device is not powerful enough. I encourage you to try a Tflo ROM anyway,it doesnt take so much time...obviously be sure to have your original ROM and make a backup of your phone to be able to restore if you're not happy.

Well according to our handy-dandy ROM matrix in the wiki, it appears that you have the "ARA" (arabic..? I dunno ) stock ROM, with WM6.1. This most likely also means that you don't have Sense, and instead have TF3D 2.1. Most of the themes you find here are for some version of Sense (2.1, 2.5), and will cause issues when applied to TF3D.
You can:
-Just look for TF3D 2.1-compatible themes and visual elements...they exist, search the whole site and not just the Rhodium forums.
-Upgrade your ROM to one that has some version of Sense (aka Manila) on it, and you open up your options for the visual tweaks you can find and use.
Also, even when you find themes, etc, that will work with what you have on your phone, you need to make sure you turn off TF3D (and Sense, when you get it) before installing any of them, to make sure there's no issues with files not overwriting properly.
thanx a lot sirphunkee.... i thot manila is kind of an updated version of tf3d.... :O should i first install windows 6.5 or flash a new ROM..... i am not so much of a tech freak... and not on the phone 24 7... i just need some cool games and good themes....... ( not to forget sme decent softwares)... could you please suggest which ROM should i go for....
