Task Bar Color

Hi! I recently got a htc touch pro for Alltel and fell in love with it after I realized how to customize it. I use Diamond TF3D Config and have changed the theme. The only problem is the theme is black and white and my task bar (start menu, battery, etc...) is still a navy color. Is there any way to change this to black to match my theme?

I don't mean to play dumb, but I'm completely new to this and I didn't see anything about color on that post, just changing the icons...

yeah youre right...had the same problem the things youre looking fore are part of diferent thes u can find for your device al over XDA

Requesting A White TF3D Theme

Anyone have or a interested in making a white tf3d theme for a sprint tp2? or if someone could link me to forum where i can get a white slider taskbar and clock it would be greatly appreciated.

The background is white. The clock, sliders, slider icons, home screen calender & call history are all red. Oh and the text is black.
It's probably the fugliest theme i've ever come across. Thank god i don't have it anymore.

i actually like it a little.. know where i can find it..? i could only find the vga version i need wvga..

I've been trying to get the text blk since my xperia and NOTHING i've tried has worked so if someone can tell me how to do that then i'll try and make a white theme.

HTC Black theme

Firstly I have used the search button and only found dead links.
I am looking for the HTC Black theme that I used to have on my Diamond. I went over to Blackberry for a while and have now come back to an 02 XDA Ignito which as I understand is the same phone.
The only theme I did manage to find left the 02 top and bottom bars in blue.
Can anyone help with HTC Black theme and instructions on how to get rid of blue bars.

OK tried that and the top and bottom bars are grey and its the centre that is still 02 (blue). So it seems as if it is the version of TF3D that needs to be changed. Is this one a carrier version that is loaded on the phone? Does anyone know if it is possible to change this?

I've just done a soft reset and the phone loaded in the black HTC theme but when TF3D loaded it is in blue so it TF3D that needs to be black

Spareparts options!

I just changed my current theme using metamorph to a white status bar theme however I can't see the writing on the status bar because it is white also. (I came from a black theme) I then when to spareparts but this rom version does not offer the option to change the color of the text in spareparts.
Any solution?

Sounds to me like the white bar is assuming you're coming from stock so it doesn't bother to change the text back to black, and the black bar is assuming the same thing, so it changed the text to white.
The best solution would be to reflash the ROM and then install the white bar mod. Most ROMs can just be reflashed on top of themselves with no issues, but if issues appear, wipe and reflash.
However, make sure you nandroid before doing this in case I'm wrong.

Either way, flash back to default ROM and reflash that theme.

The wysie color mods were moved to cm settings under settings. No need for a wipe.

I am a bit confused. Wysie color mods? I am using SuperCSDIv4 and it is black themed. So I used metamorph to install a 1.6 template stock theme but the text on the status bar is white still along with the white bar. lol
So where is this wysie color mod?

there probably isn't he was assuming your using Cyanogen mod

So how am I suppose to change the text color of the ticker? Is there a ported version of the new spareparts for 1.6 with the ticker color change option?

If the theme was not made for the ROM, the only way to do it is to change the text yourself in the default ROM then reflashing the metamorph. Sorry, I can't help on this. :/
No, there's no ported version. 1.6 is pretty much dead.

[Q] Expresso bar ?

Hi I'm looking for an expresso bar mod for my desire, and so far have not been able to find one, wondered if anyone can point me in the direction of one, if one exists that is, and yes I have used the search feature extensively.
The problem is I'm looking for one that just changes the bar on the home screens and a matching straight lockscreen bar, not too bothered either way about the notification screen, but don't want to change any icons on the notification bar as I have already used the circle battery mod, and would like it to stay the way it is, also needs to be for a 2.09 rom base, and no colour mods, I wan't the button press colour to stay at the standard green, not bothered wether it's skinned in the black or carbon either.
Would be very grateful for this indeed, been looking for one for months on and off now.

search for 'BrightSilence Espresso' and you'll find one of the best ones (IMO) or failing that you could use HElauncher from the market as there is a Slate theme, which is basically Espresso but no Sense Widgets...so it depends what you wanna do really
