Got Stuck in RUU Screen

Was applying an RUU update...what a bad move...
Now my HTC Magic got stuch in RUU screen showing the following:
SAPPHIRE UNKNOWN 32A SHIP S-OFF H
HBOOT-1.76.0010 (SAPP50000)
CPLD-11
RADIO-6.35.10.18

I tried many ways to get rid of this screen but didn't work.
My phone original has the rogers 2.17.631.2 build, and I did a bad move to upgrade to Android 1.5.=( The RUU process flashed my HBOOT and RADIO, but as soon as it starts the "system" steps, the screen shows unzipping for over an hour and eventually failed. Now my phone will start up with the above screen only!! i can't get myphone startup in recovery mode or fastboot mode.
I tried re-run the RUU porgram on my PC and the tool still shows i have the old anroid build. Hence i know that i now have NEW HBOOT and RADIO but still the old Android build.
Is there a way for me to get out of this RUU screen? Any help is appreciated.
Is the security off (S-OFF) allows me to downgrade the SPL? If so, how can i do that given i can only boot my HTC Magic in this screen only.
One more side note, fastboot can detect the phone.
Urgently need help! Appreciated.

Stuck at Vodafone Screen, please help

I got a real Problem
On a normal Boot the Magic stucks an the red Vodafone splashscreen
Powering up with Home+Power results in the Vodafone screen
Back+Power i got to the fastboot menu.
Now i can transfer an recovery mod (recovery-RA-sapphire-v1.7.0G.img)
if i use "fastboot boot recovery-RA-sapphire-v1.7.0G.img" the phone shows up a progressbar, reboots and stuck at the red Vodafone screen.
if i use "fastboot flash recovery recovery-RA-sapphire-v1.7.0G.img" the img transfered an wrote to the phone. Turning it off and on again (with Home+Power) it ends in the splash screen. ==> I'm not able to enter the recovery menu
If i try to flash my backuped system.img with "fastboot flash system system.img" the progressbar stucks at about 90%.
The Fastboot menu shows (if this could help):

Reading carefully is the key! I had this problem on my 32A, you're flashing a recovery which is for google branded phones ie. Sapphire PVT 32B ENG S-OFF G, download recovery-RA-sapphire-v1.7.0H.img

On a 32b i need an h-recovery image?

Yes, you need an H recovery if that's what you seen on the phone when you're in fastboot.

What did you do to end up in such a situation?

Moving to General because this has nothing to do with ROM development.

It's my dad's phone, and he says "Nothing".
About one mont ago i flashed a 2.1 Rom to the phone, and everything works great. Three days ago he called me because the phone didn't boot anymore.
I realy don't know whats wrong with this f****** phone. It's just a kind of Magic
10 minutes ago i tried the "recovery-RA-sapphire-v1.7.0H.img" ==> same result.
I hope Vodafone will change ist. I realy out off ideas. :-S

mytouch 3g getting stuck on green screen

i have an older model mt3g i rooted no problem i flashed cyanogen 6 no problem i tried to flash 6.1 and phone got stuck on green screen i tried to factoy reset but got stuck didnt reset i cant go into recovery just gets stuck please help

no nandroid backup too huh

u sure its stuck cause i waited like 5 mins on a rom with that green screen

I installed Android 1.6 to my HTC magic my touch 3g device. but now it not start... only welcome screen appeared (my touch 3g green background) so i try to installed ageain 2.3. but recovery said

ususally whenever i get stuck at the green screen its because of a kernel issue, flashing different kernel worked everytime for me.

htc g1 update bug

I have a HTC G1 I'm trying to flash and always gives me the same error:

Look into makeing a gold card

I am not sure if a Goldcard will solve the problem, but it's worth a try.
Looks to me as if the RUUNBH flag is set, which is similar to the "boot into recovery" flag which caused so many bricks. There are several threads here in XDA from people having had the RUUNBH problem, but nobody found a solution
If the goldcard is not working I suppose you need to use JTAG ...

i bought a htc magic of a friend to update ,it came with android 1.5,its 32b radio w/o 3.5mm jack,i successfully rooted it and installed recovery also ,then i collected radio,spl and cm update zips from cynogenmod site,after flashing radio 2.2xx its strucked it "HTC MAGIC" screen NOT going in fastboot Not in recovery also,,

I do have little idea about flashing rom ,i've did it to my GT540,but i guess i've bricked this HTC magic.
plz any one can provide solution??

What you can try:
- remove battery for some time (5 minutes or whatever) and press power - then get the battery back in and try to start it again
- start the phone with Home+Back+Power or Menu+Back+Power (don't remember), in my case there was a menu to erase cache and so on, maybe this would work for you
- is your phone listed in "fastboot devices" when you power on your phone with Vol down+Power, Back+Power, Power, Home+Power or the combination from above? I read that some people are already in fastboot-mode when they see the logo, shown for example here (they had red text on red vodafone-logo):

If not...
Does bluelight-mode work (i think it's trackball+power)? If so you can get it running with JTAG - you just need somebody who has the equipment and so on.

ya t going in bluescreen mode , but no logo , and now what should i do??
