I accidentally put a photo album widget one of the home screens but when I try to long-press to move/clear it, it always forces the touchflo to shut down unexpectedly. Therefore i am stuck with a photo album widget that is taking up a whole screen which I don't use.
Is there any way to fix this such as a command to clear it?
I am using the Hero3G rom.
Thanks

has anyone else experienced a force close of the launcher while trying to manipulate the widget itself (delete or move to another home screen) after the widget has been placed on a screen and left alone for like 10-15 min?
I keep getting the same force close on anything larger than 2x2.
I'm trying to figure out whether it is the widgets I am using (happened with 3 diff. widgets) or if it is some sort of wierd bug in the android OS.
Even the facebook widget force closes my launcher. Place the widget on your home screen (it is on the last to the left for me) and leave your phone alone for a while. When you come back to it, long press the widget and see what happens. I get a force close the first time and then right after I can move it. If I leave it alone for a while and try again I get another force close.
Anyone!?!?!
How can I turn off the screen while playing music in the background to save on battery. When I hit the side button to turn off the screen, it goes off momentarily and then comes back on again. Can anyone help.
mine stays off when I hit the power button
mine stays off too.
mine stays off too.
Question, How do you get music widget onto one of the home screens? I dont see it in the Samsung or Android widgets. I also remember seeing a screen where discs rotated to choose the next song, i can't find that. Someone please shed some light.

There is no music widget that comes with the vibrant, you will have to get one from the market if you want it. There is a widget automatically built in to your lockscreen however so if you are playing music and have your screen locked you will be able to access it as soon as you power your screen up (in my opinion that is way better than the home screen widget as you have all teh same control without taking up the space)
For the screen with the discs just open up your music player and then hold teh phone horizontally. That will switch to the "cover flow" style view you are talking about.

Keep pressing the widget until you will feel a vibration under your finger and instead of moving it around, just hold onto it for 2 - 5 seconds and then pull up your finger. The widget will fall back on your homescreen and you will get an interface with yellow squares which show by how much the widget can be enlarged.
It is important to remember that not all widgets can be resized.
Another little trick i've learned.
Thanks given.
I am trying to get the clock and the weather widget to show up on my lock screen - my old NOTE2 had the option in Lockscreen settings to show weather on Lock screen but I cant find that option here.
I was able to add a weather widget to the lock screen - but when you first open the lock screen all you see is the clock - then, if I swipe down on the screen - it opens the weather ap - see my screen shots attached.
The first is what you see when you first get to the lock screen
the second is what you see when youi swipe down.
I am wanting to get the look of the second screen shot - when you first see the lock screen -
any suggestions?

I couldn't find a way to do it either, so I downloaded this little app and it's kind of cool.

You can add several other notifications to it as well.
I use beautiful widgets on all my devices, lets me set weather, clock, battery, and all completely customizable. One of the few apps I ever paid for.

Can you set it up with pattern security? The images on the Play store shows that you can but I haven't been able to do so. Every time I set up the widget and set the pattern security, it reverts back to the standard default clock.
Well I did once, but it has now reverted to the regular lock screen. Looks like maybe a bug - The other notification extensions I picked are taking up the whole screen. When I first installed it moved everything small up next to the clock when I had the pattern visible on the lock screen. I'm not sure how to make the widget smaller as of yet. Other users have reported the same problem, so maybe there will be a future fix.
So my issue is that the lock screen constantly shows camera as if it is a background. It also won't let me add any lock screen widgets.
I did a hard reset, happened again. Took it in, they did a hard reset.happened again. They traded my phone and again happening.
The only thing I did was add my gmail accounts.no apps downloaded and no other settings messed with.
Anyone have this issue? Picture attached to see what it's doing.
Scroll to the right instead of the left. Camera is on a page on the lockscreen. Scrolling to the left will show you ability to add other widgets to the lockscreen
