Silver or Black ?

Seems that where I am getting my phone from is getting them in both silver or black .. wondering which would be better .. any comments ?

black and only black

black yeah otherwise you will get bored with it fast trust me looks at p1 ;D

Black otherwise you will be singing "Back to Black"...
I have seen a lot of videos and photos of X1, Black seems the only option for me.

I like the look of the silver, yet wish my athena was black??

The black one looks better when closed but when you open up the keyboard it just looks awful. Looks like two different phones (silver and black) stuck together. So silver for me!

Hehe, here in a international forum people say black and in Swedish forums everyone says silver...

I want the black, my mate wants the silver. I'm guessing were gonna end up with whatever Vodafone offer on day one.

black for me, though. My notebook is black, and I want the whole set to be the same color

anyone know of a side by side comparisson ? I thought I saw once a picture of the black one with the keys looking like the UX390N with the black keys and blue lights .. Haven't been able to find that picture again. Maybe it was a dream.

White or "blue"?

I can not decide if I should buy the white version or the "blue" one.. Any pros and/or cons?

I ordered the white one of that helps

The blue is more like black.
Anyway, I prefer black simply because the screen has very hight contrast and deep black colour. I can't even tell the difference between black screen and the black bezel, which is great for watching videos or work with black background apps. I'd think the deep black screen and white bezel will not go well together as all black screen and bezel.

my 2 cents..
I think all of us are going to keep our Note in some kind of case, let it be a leather case or and hard protective case.
That being said we would hardly see the body of the Note anyways..
Just a thought

I had the same dilemma. I thought the White looks cool but was worried that it will look dirty easier with scratches and such.
I ended up with the Black due to Timing and Price. Plus...my wife told me she thinks White is for the ladies

The blue one is black, and the white one is for Ladies.

White one looks way better than the dark blue. Anyone saying its for the ladies is probably insecure about their masculinity.

On the blue one is it just the back thats blue? All the pics i see look like the front bezal is black.

The font of the phone and underneath the battery cover is black, it's just the battery cover is very very dark blue, basic black at first glance.

Will white phones discolor easily? I'm sure we've all seen white plastic things that have turned yellow.

Not unless you're touching it with curry on your hands or you're a smoker. None of my white electronics have ever discolored.

lol....It's my wife that said it, not me....I think it looks nice and elegant...

I got black or whatever blue one. Total sleekness. I hate the white one with all those sensor holes showing. Plain and simple look is the best for me in my own pinion. You will not regret buying the black one but may regret buying a white one.....

Though they will both look great with the brown leather flip case. Wish they'd hurry up and release it.

I got the dark blue leather flipcase and it looks amazing.. extremely classy and business-like...

Yep, it's nice. It comes for free with the Note here in HK.
However, the brown case to my mind looks so much nicer.

Handset colours choices ???

Is there 3 or 2 colours disponibles ? white,black and blue.
Or is black and blue which is much cheaper are the same model?
Which colour is handtec or other saler when they don't mentionned anything on colour like below?

There are only two colours for the Note....Blue or White.
The Blue is basically Black....I think they called it Blue is because the back cover is a very dark blue colour which is almost black.
I'm not sure if handtec has the white ones yet. I got my black one from handtec about a week ago, very good seller

Was reading about the note on an asian blog and black might be released as a colour for the chinese market.
This is proper black and not under current dark colour model.

oh...that's interesting.....because i'm looking at mine now...apart from the sides being dark grey....the rest of the phone looks pretty BLACK to me.
How are they going to make it proper black? turn the sides from grey to black? lol

I always thought that it only came in black and white versions, but Newegg list their version as dark blue. Is that true?

The black is the same thing as the very dark blue version, some places call it black, some call it as it is, dark blue or even just blue.

From the pictures that I've seen, it appears to be black! I didn't realize it have hues of blue.

Got my blue one from Newegg and it looks black. Love this damn phone

Samsung feels that the colour is dark blue, though we sees it as black

My box has the word Blue on it . And if you put the handset under the flourescent light , it turns out to be blueish . The front is completely black though ,

It is officially listed in dark blue and white. The dark blue is so dark, it appears to be black. You can only see the blueish tint in certain light conditions.

There is no black version
Only white (#FFFFFF) and the blue (#000001)

[Q] S4 White Frost Color

Hi,
I just unpacked my S4 in white frost a couple of hours ago. Unfortunately there was no display piece in white but I had seen some pics online so I got the white frost one. But I just realized that the white frost has different tones of white on the front and the back. The front one is dull white (off-white) and the back is bright (frost) white ?
Is it the case with all white frost phones or there is some issue with mine? The shop I buyed from isn't taking it back saying that it the case with all white phones? Is that true ? pls help ?

I have the black mist one, but the white one should have on the front aswell that texture..

If is not like that looks like you got a bad one.
On the black one , aswell the front is very different from the back

The pattern is there, it just a dull white as compared to the bright white at the back :S

Yeah, on the black mist is same... the front is very dull and the back is very different. But i love it
