I am using 1.6, and I can click download, but it only ever says starting download. I have rebooted, reloaded all files, tried different GMail accounts and tried registered new accounts. It's not working .

sometimes it happens... try to download 3 or 4 apps at same time
Not working. Had this problem for 2 days and no luck so far .

I installed a new ROM and when I log in and try to sync my apps to reinstall them it only shows the apps that came with the ROM. The list of all my apps is still shown online, and I tried setting it as "default" but as soon as I hit sync it makes a new list "app on my incredible" and doesn't install the missing ones...

I'm having the same problem. I went from Myn's Warm to Evervolv and Appbrain won't sync my previous apps. Did you find a solution?

UPDATE: I figued it out. If you go online to appbrain.com you can create an account. Once you create the account it shows the apps that have synched with each ROM as separate lists on the left hand side. You can copy the apps from the old ROM to the new ROM list and then sync appbrain on your phone again and they will show up.

Edit: never mind. You figured it out as I was posting.

OK... I flashed CM7.1(RC1), and also the latest Gapps...
Both of these were already on my SD card from prior to my resetting the phone back to Froyo....
SO... I am rooted (have not checked radio or simcard), but when I flashed CM7.1 and Gapps, and then rebooted.... I didn't have a market app.
So I went through the browser to an xda thread from this summer where I could download a market app. Installed it.
When launching market, it states I need to add an account-- and this is correct as I had not added a gmail/google account as of yet.
But when I go to Accounts under Settings.... It says I can setup an EXCHANGE ACCOUNT.... What is this???? I tried just entering a gmail account and my password, and it says it cannot connect to server.
What is going on...????? This has nothing to do with the market app... (I don't think).
Anybody have a clue??

An Exchange Email is for Microsoft Outlook users. It allows us to either get Pushed or polled email services.
if you cannot get the g/apps i would highly recommend wiping, flashing the ROM, then flashing the g/apps again. And it does use a specific g/apps package with 2.3 ROMS.

Thank you for your reply. After an innumerable number of hours I was able to root it (without using a USB cable.. I just switched to ADB wireless after temproot), I think I got everything the cyanogen guide is supposed to deliver... But I need to recheck in hboot.
Wow a lot of headaches. I might make a guide.

I'm getting error -110 after I'm trying to install something from the market. Some times clearing the history helps me to install the app but the new app not working, always FC.
For now I can't use it at all. I can update my apps but can't download new apps.

Delete your gmail account and restart..Ive got the same issue with my xoom and it helped. Anyway I solved chanching the rom...

I already changed 3 Sense3.5 ROMs, on MIUI and CM7 the market working great.
It also works after HR but after a while I'm still getting -110...
I'll try to delete the account and update.

*Edit: i can't remove google account, it tells me to HR... ;(
Try to create a new one, then set the second to default market account. Delete the first one and restart.
This way it will be working...

Download Market 3.4.4.apk from internet. Just google it, plenty of sources. Install it. The new market will replace the old one. Sign out of your google account and in manage apps menu, clear data for the market.apk.
Sign in to your google account again.
You're good to go.
I already deleted the account and registered a new one. I'll try it with the new account, i did a Nanadroid backup before so I always can back.

Try removing market.apk completely with titanium backup, the install the one you downloaded. If that doesn't work, find another ROM.
EDIT: Also, when you install after removing it, clear cache and data before starting.
EDIT2: This can also happen if you are using market enabler.
Well, it didn't work. (I don't use market enabler.)
After removing the market by titanium i couldn't install the "new" market. Was getting "app not installed". After 3 times i succeed and installed it and on the first download -110 error...
I did HR with the same ROM and opened a new account on Google. It's working and I'm downloading new apps without errors. Now all I left to do is wait for couple of days or weeks...

Don't panoc lol. Try re-flashing your ROM again. Sign in with your google account and try again. This has happened to a lot of people with the new Nexus, not as much with other phones but it happens I guess. Just flash another ROM and see what happeness.

Just for update.
I was with the Virtuous Affinity 2.05.0 Sense 3.5 ROM and after a lot of HR and re flashing the ROM i decided to change the ROM.
I flashed LeeDrOiD HD V5.1.1 Sense 3 and till now it's ok. No errors at all.
personally i think this is a google issue and not a rom issue.
Reason being is i have a desire hd, an archos 101 g9, archos 5a, samsung galaxy tab all on the same gmail account. When i get this it happens accross all 4 devices and not just one, i think there is a max amount that google allows you to download a day then when you hit it you get a -101 unknown error, usually it clears itself in 24 hours - well thats my experiance....
Well, I don't think it's a google issue.
I installed tons of apps in one day without any errors and on the previous ROM i installed only a few with this error.
In addition look at the other errors I got ( i couldn't install even APKs):

I found it helpful to also install the newer version of the Exchange Services package, see this article for more info

yes it does. I also disabled the existing Email app, but it was working even before doing that.
when I opened it for the first time, I was greeted with the "add new account tutorial" and had to re-add my exchange account. as the tutorial launched new activities to take me through the process, I was asked to pick a "default" app because they changed the package name from com.android.email to com.google.android.email (which explains why I had to add my account again, they can't share storage). I know this is probably a stupid question, but you're definitely using the right package?
for what it's worth, I'm running some 4.3.1-based unofficial build of paranoid android on the jfltevzw variant of the S4.

ok, so I got it working on TW, however, I can only sync manually. No push, and no even periodic sync..
Ok so at first, i tried signing-in to Samsung account but it keeps on saying "Processing Failed" so i searched around what to do but i tried this: installing a new samsung account apk but unfortunately, i downloaded the latest (beta) and now it keeps on stopping and doesnt work now...
I dont know what to do with this, i just need my data from samsung account but it doesnt let me in..
I tried:
- Updating Galaxy Apps
- Install Samsung Account (Beta)
- Clear Data and Cache
- Search everything I could and most of it are useless and some are unrelated..
All of them does not work so I tried here on XDA maybe someone can help me?

Same thing with my Note Edge
So I checked the Priv-App and found the samsung account. I tried to install it again but it cant, it says that the file is corrupted... this maybe why i cant access to samsung account? Or no.. Please help!

if you got it from APK Mirror, you downloaded a corrupt file. The newest file is corrupt.
Try this Samsung Account file.

Use Root Explorer and overwrite the old Samsung account with this one. The. Fix the permissions. Look at the screenshots.
Also how big is your enhanced features apk.
Also which rom are you on? You may want to update to a new rom?

Its a stock one. Is it necessary to root? I can access to the system folder but there are no other choice on the "Samsung account" unlike yours..

Are you rooted? Stock means you never unlocked the bootloader? What bootloader and modem are you on? Check your about screenshot it and post it.
If i hard reset my phone and create a new account from the start up, would it fix my "Processing Failed" problem? Or just a waste of time and effort?
I'm having the same problem. For no reason I can't log in anymore since today.
I've cleared cache, changed password, removed account,... When I want to add the Samsung account again and use my new log in (with the same e-mailadress) it keeps processing.

After several tries I finally managed to log in again. But I still have my initial problem, I wanted to log in in the Galaxy App store but i keep on getting the "Service not available 5011" error.

Yes, I solved it finally!
Go to settings > apps > Galaxy Apps (in my case) > Storage > clear cache/clear data.
