I flashed my O2 Orbit 2 to Offical WWE HTC (1.25.405.1), everything went fine, but when I switched on the phone, there was no reception whatsoever. Can anyone tell me why please!!!

You flashed a generic HTC ROM and you'll just have to set it up for your own network on O2.
You surelly flash a new radio try another one and you will retrive your reception back

I flashed with a HTC TYTN rom..radio rom is 1.18..when i lose signal it take a long time to regain..what can i do to get the best radio rom for me???

I'm seeing this strange thing. I have received a Qtek 2020, and I tried to use it with my sim (TIM, Italian Telecom) but I can't see network service, under any circumnstance. Then I swapped my sim card with a Vodafone IT one, and I've seen full signal immediately. Trying to change to another operator like Italian "Wind", took me just as the very 1st step: no signal at all. I tried to change radio rom/os rom, and running unlock tools (they said it's all unlocked). Nothing changed.
Anyone can help me?

Wich radio version is in the mda ????

I've tried *all* of the Radio ROMs for the device (found on buzz's site). Also for the OS rom and extended, when in 2003. Just don't know what else to do!
some older sims are incompatible
some people have reported success with
getting their operator sending them a newer
sim

It seems that works with the old ones as well as with the new ones (my sister has a 6-years-old card from Vodafone, and it WORKS!), but just from that vendor.
I'll just drop it in a trash can!

Can anyone advise me on what's the best ROM and Radio for O2 Orbit 2 UK?

I have just flashed my Orbit O2 with the following ROM:
- 1.52.ASerg.4 WWE
Radio version: 1.58.25.14
This was the first flash I have ever done and after some difficulties in getting it going the new ROM is the business.
Very very quick with no glitches found yet.
The radio on the other hand not sure, I only have two bars at the moment in my house but I was sure I had 3 -4 bars before but to be honest not sure.
I have a H on all the time in the house and net connection is very quick so maybe this is ok.
This is where I am confused is this the radio that came with the above ROM or is it the original from O2 and how do you just flash the radio ROM.
I downloaded a newer radio ROM but then it said it would over write the A.Serg version????
Any help in this area would be appreciated.

I'm also interested in hearing peoples thoughts about which ROM to choose. I'd basically like a faster rom with WM 6.1. I want to keep all the services such as BT, Wifi etc and also all the HTC software.
Does anyone has a working O2 UK ROM? I've seen it somewhere over here almost two months ago but can't find the thread and the link anymore.

Does anyone have the original o2 XDA Orbit 2 boot screen? I've been flashing a few ROMs to try them out and have not got an original boot screen to re flash back. I have flashed the original o2 ROM, but my device still has the udk Diamond boot screen.

Do you need this splash screen?
If yes, here it is, I extract it from the offical German O2 rom.
Flash it just like a rom (hard-spl is needed, and it will not HR you device)

I lost it when I flashed Touch IT rom recently.

Hope somebody can help me with this problem.
I recently brought a tattoo. Just noticed today I cannot get mobile internet.
The phone was on Vodafone but unlocked. I'm on t-mobile. I know I have data services because I used to have it on previous phone touch pro.
The Rom is ruu Vodafone UK.
Anybody got any ideas on a fix

FIXED...... I flashed a custom rom worked fine, and then I just tired a WWE ruu rom worked wonders, so just vodafone ruu rom not working with t-mobile.
