New Rogers Update and music

I Updated my Magic to Rogers new image. Its working actually pretty well except for one very annoying and perhaps embarassing issue.
When a call comes in and I am listening to meridian or the builting mp3 player on my headset instead of the phone RINGTONE it starts playing the audio I am listinging to over the speaker.
Before the update it used to put my music on HOLD and then play the ringtone. if I declined or ansewer then hang up the music would be un paused.
this does not seem to be happening since the update.
Anything I can do to fix this?

Just tried to reproduce the error, sorry didn't get the same bug.
Try repicking the ringtone from your music player?

Problems with listening to music

These are probably not Tattoo specific problems, but I couldn't find any solution anywhere else, so I'll post here.
First one is:
While I'm listening to music on the stock or fydor ROM (I only tried these) with any music application, when I get a notification (SMS, call, whatever) even if the ringtone is set to silent or vibrate, the music stops for a second. This is really annoying when I'm texting and using the phone as an MP3 player at the same time.
Another problem:
When I receive a call while I'm listening to music (I tried HTC Music and bTunes) though headphones the music pauses. And that's good.
But if I remove the headphones to answer the call, when the call finishes the music starts playing through the speakers. This can be pretty annoying or embarrassing.
Does anyone else have these issues? Do you know of a solution?

for the second I can remember some situations when i was :-s cause music started.
a solution for me was that i bought some headphones without microphone and i don't unplug them...

Music player wont pause when incoming call

Music keeps playing when answering incomimg calls. Stock music player. Also when playing music and a txt msg is received it will lower the volume for the notification sound but wont resume previous volume level, it stays low. This happens on both devices I have. It this a known bug? How to fix it? I wouldnt like to download any other player, im ok with the stock. Thanks

Im 100% unmolested stock. Have downloaded no apps either, phone is as stock as it gets. It has also been fact reset. Thanks.

Factory reset doesn't repair system errors.
You could either reinstall the stock factory image, or flash a custom rom.

Try another player, if the problem persists then you know something is not right. I use poweramp and it normally fades out when incoming notification (Stock rom also). I rarely use gmusic so i can't tell if it's a problem with the app. I tried to call myself now while listening to gmusic and it faded out normally.

[Q] S4 weird sound issue

this has happened with my stock rom and new rom. i am currently running triforce 4.0 but has happened since i owned the phone. basically i listen to pandora a lot while i am working. i pause the song in pandora when i turn off the van. when i hit play the volume is always really low almost to the point where you cannot hear the audio. the sound returns to normal once it gets to the next song or when i receive a text message. I've tried to re download pandora but has not fixed the issue. does anyone else have this problem or a solution to this issue?

[Request] stop muting music playback when notification receieved

Hey guys thanks for opening the thread.
I'm simply looking for a mod (possibly xposed?) that lets me retain music playback without muting it when a notification comes in.
It would be preferable if the notification sound played over top of the current music playing.
Please don't recommend vibrate. I walk around a lot while listening to music and hardly ever feel it.
I used to have it on my I9000 in the gingerbread days and currently it seems like if my notification volume is close to silent it seems to behave in the way i'd like buuuut then i can't hear anything so its about as useful for me as vibrate.
