How the hell do I change #2 from Customer Service? Why they would make an unchangeable speed dial for a 2 number button press is beyond me
And more, with Visual Voicemail why can't I change #1?
Im glad u made this post... i have the same exact question...its annoying having *2 on my speed dial! Can somone pls solve this issue pls?

I am able to make conference calls only when I dial out both the numbers.
1. I dial the first number
2. Go to menu click 'Add Call' and call the other number
3. Merge the two
Is it not possible to put someone who is calling me on conference if I am already on a call?
tkz
My understanding is that you can only create a conference call if you dial the 2nd person. You cannot add someone to a call that is calling you. I believe this is a limitation of CDMA, not the phone itself. I had the same issue with my BlackBerry Pearl and Palm Pre on Sprint.
Oh thats bad! Probably its one of those things that u just need to live with...
Have you lost your Voicemail number?
Do you not know what the heck it could be??
To solve this problem, simply do the following:
1) Open dialer
2) Dial: *#67#
3) There is your voicemail number.
P.S: Not everyone's voicemail is the same number. Reason the code is the best reason.
Please move this to general.

good tip. wrong forum
Not necessarily. If you have changed your call forwarding number (e.g. google voice) then it will show the google voice number, not the tmo number.

Interesting..
I for example have no number set at all.. my voicemail number is blank.
When I send that command, it gives me the phone number of my phone carrier's voicemail.
And yes, might be in the wrong place..
Im not a mod/admin.. i cant move it.
i dial 123 and it goes right to my vmail...
i use 123 as well
123 is what I use also, assuming visual voicemail isn't working.
You can call t mobile and ask for your voice mail number. If for some unknow reason they ask why you need it say google voice removed it. I had the same problem, no voicemail after update to 6 1 1, fixed with a phone call.

and just to be clear WHO THE HELL ARE YOU???
please don't start b.s, the code works well. If it doesn't work for you it's a different story.
so please stop making wrongful accusations that it does not work.
thanks a lot. worked like a charm
I think it all depends on if you still have T-Mobile as the carrier with your myTouch 3G phone. I have AT&T and the 123 code does not work with it. I think that is the same issue that the others are running into.
Any other clues or help you guys can give?
Worked in At&t for me. Thanks
Hi Experts,
I have a strange requirement.
I used to have a Boost iDEN Phone. It looks like the Good old days are over.
The calls were dropping like crazy and I was forced to change to CDMA.
Lets get in to the actual problem.
1. Youmail :
Earlier, I used to go to youmail website register, and dial the number that is there in the Email from Youmail and select the options of Call Forwarding ( while not in coverage, busy, switched off, no answer) and enter the number there.
THATS IT. No need for me to call Voicemail number and happily check my Email who called me.
I also used to get the Company/ or the Actual Name of the person on whose name the phone number is registered, that way I can block the calls easily.
BUT IN THE CDMA PHONE, I DO NOT SEE THAT ANYMORE, ALSO WHEN I CALL BOOST THEY CALL THAT CONCEPT AS CONDITIONAL CALL FORWARDING OR CCF.
BUT Boost CDMA no longer offers that plan.
Guys any idea on how to get my Youmail back. I love it. I was addicted to Youmail and I love the way, that I can decide whether to call any number which I missed because I will have an idea of which company/person the call came from.
But no Luck now. GUYS HELP NEEDED.
2. Google Voice Support.
I do not want to expose my number outside and I want to give my GOOGLE VOICE Number to other People so that if they call me, I can decide whether in the future, if I want to take a call from that number or not. I will block that number in Google Voice and My life was very beautiful earlier when I was using the iDEN service.
This CDMA service is kind of crazy. It has both pros and cons.
I'm using a Flashed HTC EVO 4G phone and I'm getting aroung 1.5 MBps speed on my mobile. I'm now using my Phone as MODEM and browsing the Internet on my Computer, Decent Smart Phone, Android Market place, and much more is on the brighter side.
But on the flip side, I cannot use Youmail, no support to Google Voice.
HELP NEEDED GUYS, ANY HELP OR INFORMATION OR WORK AROUND OR ANY LINKS OR ANY OTHER SERVICES WHICH COMPLEMENT THIS AND GET MY WORK DONE, SOLUTIONS/SUGGESTIONS ARE HIGHLY APPRECIATED.
Thanks,
A J.
i have started using my S4 at work
im a cable technician, when i call customers im blocking my number using #31# before the actual number of the client for obvious reasons- its a big company, anything has to go through their customer service center
the thing is, when i call a client using that prefix, its gone in the call log, so when i need to call him again( which often happen) i need to dial the number again which is very uncomfortable as im calling dozens of customers everyday, my older work phone was a simple J105 sony ericsson , which used to saved the number in the call log just as it was, smartphones for some reason, dont...
is this a setting i can change or some other dialer i should use ?
please? anyone?
Maybe try other dialer and contact apps...
Weird one yesterday did a hard reset, nothing went wrong as I backed up using smart switch software.
Everything is back on my non rooted device and its working better than before which is why I needed to hard rest the phone.
This isn't the issue, the issue was the setting up speed dial and voice mail or number one on the speed dial I'm with Vodafone and its voice mail has always been 121, but during my set up I mistakenly set it to 191, which is customer service number.
There is no way of removing the 191 speed dial I can remove 2-999 contact but not number 1 weird rang UK support from Samsung and they had me on hold for 10mins saying they cant remove it either. So prove me right or wrong?
Go to phone or contacts
Top left three dot menu
select: Speed dial
see if you can change number one speed dial?
An X only appears on contacts from 2-999 so question was how to change the no.1 speed dial? Samsungs' answer was hard reset again
