Did I missed this? I think I can't search the sender of the SMS and also the contents inside the threaded SMS. When I push the 'Search' button, it will perform the Google Search although I'm in the SMS screen.
Do you guys have any idea on this? I thought that we have the features of type -as-you-go function, similar to Windows Mobile device where it will search the sender and also the contents of the SMS as we type.
Any idea or is it unavailable?
Thanks!

Anyone here familiar with the software on the Treo that will allow you to reject an incoming call & immediately send the caller a text message? Is there a way to get that functionality somehow for a non-Palm device? I saw where the threaded SMS app was extracted and thought this might be possible also.
Anyone?
Thanks,
Rob

I'm trying to find a program that will let me send group SMS... been scouring the net, but can't seem to find something good. Tried O2 SMS plus, but for some reason after a while i would stop sending or receiving SMS.. which obviously is bad.
any ideas?
Click 'To' then add a recipient, click 'To' then add a recipient, etc...
BS...
This is the solution
You could try my solution on this post , and I think you will be happy.

Hey i finally found a program to do it.. can't remember where.. some thread.
It's a tiny program that you can run from the programs menu or from the 'menu' button inside the messaging app. Sends group SMS to the different categories you have in your contact list.
(searched cause O2sms plus was giving me the same problem.. annoying)
Hi,
di you know if it is possible to create Rules (like Rules and Alert on Outlook 2003 for example), that redirect incoming SMS (or mail, MMS etc...) to a specific subfolders ?
The idea is to redirect incoming message to a subfolder for each person.
For example, when I receive the acknowledgement of the administrator, the message will be redirected to an "Administrator" subfolders.
etc...
A solution already exists for this ?
Do you know if it is technically possible ?
Thank you !
I'm also interested in automatically redirected SMSs. I hope this thread will become active again!

Me too ....
I was organising messages into sub folders until I found out that PocketCM doesn't show the threaded SMS that are stored in folders other than inbox/outbox
i too wish to have that feature on my phone.. it takes ages to sort things out..
dont care about if pocketcm will show it or not..
You could try something like smssecurity which allows you to define rules and handles the selected messages in a sepearte program.
I've used button mapping to open smssecurity with 2 presses of my internet button, so it's no harder than chaging folders within the main sms folder
It also allows you to password protect your messages

is there an application that will replace my current windows mobile 6.5.3 texting application so that its not like an email. more like a traditional cellphone. where i can select multiple recipients by checking of recipients in my phone book then sending. i find it very time consuming to currently do that. even if its not freeware
anyone
anyone have an answer does this exist or not. would like my SMS sender to bring up a checklist for multiple recipients, so i can send to 10 people with picking the recipients individually. any help on this?
I have searched the Forum but cant seem to find any answer to this.
Wondering if anyone has any idea if I can filter/ search through text messages on the HD2 like we could on previous WM devices (including the touch pro2)?
in the text message program, if you type "trade" for example, all texts get narrowed down to display only the ones with the word "trade". Very handy tool to search through text messages especially when you have a lot of messages on your device.
Any help will be appreciated.
Thanks.
