Hi,
Wondering if I can get some feedback on this housing replacement I found on ebay. From the look of it, it looks the same as the Fuze.
http://cgi.ebay.com/GENINUE-HOUSING...wItemQQptZPDA_Accessories?hash=item3ca6574797
Thanks.
I like it better than the OEM Fuze case, it comes with the matte finish battery cover instead of the finger-print magnet glossy one.
I've ordered from here several times, never had a problem. Don't know if they will have it, but worth a look. http://cnn.cn/shop/
installation difficult?
Hey, mate. Did you order it? Any idea on how easy these things are to install?
I am also thinking of getting me one.

Yeah, but I could get used to that. I only use it for the comm mgr anyway. It also has a different keyboard layout... I may have to look into this. Noticed it also has the slot for the front facing camera

When I disassembled my fuze, I looked at the components. The button actuation shouldn't interfere. It's far enough below the surface.

Krusell finaly announced a case for the TytnII I think these are the best casses in the market I have used on with the K jam, then the Jasjam and I will order this one when it becomes available later this month.

Wow, thanks. I've been waiting for Krusell to come out with a case for the TyTN II. I have sent an email to my local vendors right away.
Thanks,
Phil

That's my only worry. I agree they do look like very good cases, but I'd really like a case that protects without making the phone 50% thicker!
Krusell cases are excellent value for money - I've used them for years

I agree. My last phone was the Palm Treo 650 and after removing the phone after having it in my Krussel case for awhile, I was surprised how small my phone felt 'nude'.
Cheers,
Phil
Personally the only thing I miss from my old Jasjam is the Krusell leather case I find it hard to use with the supplied case and always fear dropping it

I have tired to find cool slim cases for my Wizard and Hermes with NO luck. Some of the better leather cases that are thin do not work well as the phone can slide out (when moving fast or coming down stairs) and the uber cool two piece plastic case (this case was cool as you can slide open keyboard without having to open anything - face is always visible too) I found a few months ago was cool until the plastic would no longer keep the phone in the case and would fall right out. Between the Wizard and Hermes, I have owned about 15 cases including the Aluminum cases. All are a bust! I just ordered the Krusell tonight (will ship Next Day Air tomorrow) and will settle for a thicker case in which my phone will NEVER get damaged. I will provide feedback on Wednesday when it arrives..

Images of Krusell Case and my Tilt!
I am a case freak and have purchased every case under the sun (pouches, Aluminum, two piece snap-on case and many many more) for my Wizard and Hermes in the past. It really surprises me that NO ONE can make a good case that allows the PDA/Phone to be FUNCTIONAL while providing good protection. Today my Krusell arrived. Before purchasing I was mixed on the main flap that covers the entire phone when closed. I like to be able to glance at my phone to see incoming calls, emails and text messages.
Anyway, the case is well made and the phone fits firmly into the case (which means phone will not fall out). I do not like the fact that the clip is placed "high" on the rear of the case. When sitting one must becareful not to break the clip. Running with the phone attached could be an issue as well with the clip placement high. Unforunately you have to unsnap the 2nd smaller flap to slide the phone open for keyboard use. I have dealt with this in the past and will probably be ok with it. Bottom line is the case protects the phone very very well. In the past I have found good functional cases that did not protector or hold the phone well. Images are below. Sorry for the poor lighting as I took these at work. I have a photo light at home and will take better images tonight.

Thanks for the pics! I was hoping someone would get this case and post some pics. You can't always rely on the sellers pics.
I am a real big fan of the Krusell cases. I think you will be hard pressed to find better made product. Having said that, I just can't warm up to this case. If it was more like the one for the 8525 I would buy it in a second. It fit my "needs" on the 8525 perfect for how I use the phone. Plus I didn't have to lift a single flap to operate it. This one for the Kaiser/Tilt does, and you have to flip open two flaps to use the keyboard.
I guess I will pass on this one.
Maybe I need to get the thread, needle and some fine Corinthian leather out and make my own.

I agree with you on the functionality (to many flaps).. But for the meantime I will use for protection therefore my search "will" continue.. Your IDEA of making your own case is good. So hard to find a good case for any Phone these days.
I do like this one: https://www.noreve.com/product_info.php?products_id=2069

Will give it a shot next week when it ships.....
Has anyone purchased and received the Noreve Kaiser case yet?
Would be interested in seeing how it works. I'm still using my Krusell horizontal pouch that I used with the 8525 and it makes the device easily accessible rather than having to open many things to access the device like the book cases.

I guess you can expose the camera.. I never noticed.. I did not notice that you can pull the rear of the case down to expose the camera and speaker (the magnet is pretty strong).

Personally I like the Invisible Shield Product. One warning: you do need to give it a couple of months for the finish to wear to a comfortable sheen.

$25 for what amounts to custom cut Scotch tape = RIPOFF.
I paid about that much for a Boxwave Active Case (plastic hardcase with locking belt clip) for my Hermes. Unfortunately they are not yet available for the Kaiser.

i found on ebay one for 60 dollars, but i think it can cheaper... anyone knows a good site of place?
I just bought this hard plastic case, still allows me to slide the keyboard and tilt the screen and access all the buttons.
I picked the smoke grey color, the phone does not even look like it has a cover on, looks great and still acessible to all buttons.

I got my Fuze a couple of weeks ago but the glossy black panel on the back is already showing scratches. I would like to know if anybody knows a place where they sell replacements or if they make a rubberized one or not. I just ordered a case so it won't be much of an issue but I'm sure I'll need to replace it eventually. Any info on this would be greatly appreciated.
To anyone reading this thread and wondering, see this thread:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=444619
Yea I saw that but does that rubberized one fit this phone because it doesn't look like it from the picture and the clear plastic part where the camera/LED is located on the phone seems to small to fit over both on the Fuze. Just want confirmation that this cover fits on the Fuze. Thanks for the input.
MAN i really hope they come out with some aftermarket understated back covers. If the sprint version didnt have the ugly chrome trim id be all over it.
Couldn't agree more. I'd buy a "Tilt" like back cover for the AT&T Fuze in a heartbeat.

i'm looking for my HTC Touch Pro by Sprint.
anybody have experience with these two silicone skins? or if it's bad, do anyone have a recommendation for Sprint HTC Touch Pro? i just bought generic silicone skin and it sucks. the rail falling off from the silicone and its just useless junk now. sorry for my english, i've come from Indonesia. Thank you
I don't know about those two for sure, but the one I had was a pain in the butt to get out of your pocket. It also was really hard to push the power button with it. I will not buy silicone again. Seemed to protect it well tho..

I agree that It makes it difficult to take the phone out of pocket.
In spite, I love it. I tried a hard case, which made the touch screen work in a funny way. I wish, some shields were out there which wraps around the edges. Then there would be no need of extra casing.

I already have an IS installed. But it does not cover the edges. See the attached picture (got from http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=453847)
I need to manually repair my fuze nothings wrong with it internally but on the outside there are several scratches that Irritate the crap out of me. So I'm trying to find out where to get a faceplate and how to replace it. I'm not under AT&T and so I don't have a warranty. I know that a battery cover can be replaced easily but I also need the outer lining off my phone to be replaced as well.
There is a webshop that sells spare parts for the touch pro.
However, they are located in The Netherlands and don't know if they send abroad.

or

Try ebay first. Read the instructions on how to dismantle, and trust me, its not as hard as it seems.
