Well a couple days ago I decided to try out amona Ra Recovery. I don't know what happened but after I installed it and tried to flash a rom my tablet would not boot. So I said no big deal. Ill just wipe and flash again. Well now everytime I try to do anything like restore a backup or wipe data(even mount the data partition) I get an "cant mount /Data" error. Same with the internal sd. I cant mount that either. I can mount the system and flexrom and just about everything else. So I then loaded thor's touch CWM recovery as well as the standard cwm recovery and still a no go. Can not mount the data or sdcard partition. So I then decided to try and flash thors ICS rom. When I did it would boot but it gets to a screen that say encryption failed and I need to do a factory reset. I never set it up to encrypt by the way. But I cant factory reset due to the fact that I cant mount the data partition. Hope I gave enough info. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Ill probaly donate to the person who can help me. Thanks in advance
EDIT: Also if anyone may happen to have a copy of the acer unbrick Update.zip that would be greatly appreciated. All the links I find go to megaupload.com which I'm sure everyone knows by now is shut down. Thanks again

I am on CM9 0416build,froyo
I was downloading some pdf file on my phone through gmail.
the file was unable to download for some reason and the icon has remained stuck for some reason.Restarting didnt help
I have already tried the following things:
1. cleared cache and dalvik cache
2. read somewhere tht "notification restart" app helps remove such msgs in CM7 but that didnt help.
3. reinstalled the build without wiping userdata and reflashing gapps and kernel.
I dont want to reinstall kernel and gapps again as i hv strived so much to hv what i hv currently on my ROM
Please help me out

New image is not what you say failure
i am still stuck with the the download sogn stuck ... i also tried reflashing the rom .. kernel and gapps... but that too did not help... are there no helpers for me..
its very annoying .. help me out.. i dont want to wipe data and cache because of this..!!!
you reflashed the ROM so you would of wiped the data and cache anyway?
Can you find out where the temp files are stored when they are downloaded or see if the partial file is in the download folder and then remove that file??? as if it got stuck even doing all you have done it may be trying to download the rest of the file even if it cant.
I would say its to do with the file not the ROM.
no i only wiped the cache and dalvik cache... and flashed other kernel , rom and gapps.. i didnt wipe the data... can anyone give me some real solution??

Can anyone help. I performed a userdata erase and formatted the data partition. The problem is I can flash the ROMs but can't boot into it. It keeps coming back to twrp and does some check and reboots again to do the same thing again and again. I don't know what's wrong. The only ROM i can boot into is the AiCP Rom. I'm in need of a desperate help. Help me guys.
Since u erased userdata u decrypted ur device. If u wanna stay decrypted u need to flash no verity zip after rom and root method and gapps.

Flash the Stock image, you don't need to put any files on phone. Search by yourself, you will learn a lot of things.
Then flash again the recovery and DO NOT wipe SYSTEM, just wipe data from recovery.

Please provide more information for our experienced fellow members, for example, please state the custom ROM/kernel that you have on your device, the version of the OrangeFox recovery and version of Magisk you wish to install.

You may have to format the data partition to make it useable again. But doing so will clear your internal storage.
